Hello, a few months ago I was banned from the PMC Discord for repeatedly asking GodsDead to make a “PiratePass” for the server. I feel like it’s been a long time, and I learned my lesson to not bug him (or anyone for that matter).

It has been 5 months and 23 days since my Permaban, a little over 7-8 months since I have last been on the server, 7 months since I was on the servers Discord server and 2 months since I have last spoken to anyone from PirateCraft. I have seen that many of the people who made me leave the server are banned, both by Discord and on this server. Seeing this, along with wanting to see how things have changed, has made me come back here to ask for a unban. I know my actions on the server were more annoying than almost anything staff had seen before, I admit my faults. I hold no grudges against staff or anyone else for the punishments I have received as consequence for my actions, I simply want to come back. While I have been gone much change has happened in my own life, and now I think its time to show you how I have changed and to see how the server has changed. I don’t expect this to be accepted with flying colors, I just want people to look.

Unban Appeal

I’d like to begin with apologizing to you, Gods – as I know that it came off as I was attacking you/staff as a whole but I want to further explain how that was not the case and I’d never do that.

I had sent you the direct message: “please taken into account LEGO’s constant harassment against me over the last week. His now accusing me of harassing him, inciting flooding of chat after scamming me with Torkey/Xeron, and claiming around my bases & causing constant messes for admins to clean up.”

This message was sent following an argument in general chat where I was attempting to ask LEGO for the $ (nicely) and he attacked me. This argument got quite into it and then you began typing in chat / putting slow mode on. Once this happened, and following a staff members informing me that “Staff discussions were getting heated” over the scandal, I had guessed you were involved in the settling of it. I also believed this due to the fact of it being a staff-related issue. I was wrong.

I had GUESSED that you were involved with settling it and I was wrong to do so. I wanted to clarify this up in direct messages prior to being banned for it – but I unfortunately was unable to do so.

I was wrong to have guessed that you were involved, as I had (in the heat of the moment) not thought through the fact that you are not involved in moderation on the server at all. It was my mistake for asking you to consider the recent occurrences as you would not be the person to consider them whatsoever.

I apologize for going out of my way and messaging you, as you were not the person to message. But I hope that my confusion in the matter can be understood at the slightest. I do not believe I was in the right whatsoever and I understand and agree with your actions in return.

Once more, I am extremely sorry for going to you – Gods.

I only ask that you consider reducing my two week temp-ban (to calm down) to one week. I agree with the settling-down, and I’d like to step away for a week and get away from the ongoing controversy but I would like the opportunity to take part in the coming event.

Once more, I apologize and am extremely sorry and I ask for your forgiveness as I did not intend to attack you nor would I ever intend to.

Lately i feel as if i’m being targeted by staff for no reason? A few days ago i had my name changed randomly without anyone telling me a reason why except for the possibilities of why it was changed which were that, it’s confusing to players since it’s similar to a staff’s name. Which is odd because some examples, Torkiey, NotGodsDead, Two Players with similar names to staff haven’t had the issue i had with my name. I had asked LazyDog11 and she told me to ask Lego, which he told me to ask her? In which eventually i had my nickname removed so it’s my original name. So i don’t understand the purpose in changing it in the first place. Another issue i’m having is that had a sword taken away from me by Atalantaa because the name was “insulting” and “Bypassing Filter” for the name being “Are You Phobic Bro?”. I for one don’t see the sword name being any of those topics but if it is, i could have easily changed the name. When i tried to learn more about the reasoning Atalantaa told me that if i didn’t like the methods in which she’s work in, to make a report, which is what i’m doing. I’d at least like the sword back under a different name because i don’t think there was a reason for it to be taken away. What ever opinions Staff have about the way people choose their lifestyles to be, shouldn’t be reflected into PMC because in my p.o.v it seems like some staff may be homophobic. I’d appreciate it if an Admin other than LazyDog11 or anyone of higher status could resolve this, in a discord chat.

After telling me i won’t be getting the sword back and to go through with the report, i got the sword back and was just told to rename it. Again. I don’t understand the purpose in taking the sword when i could have just been told to rename it.

This just seems childish at this point. Same thing with the nickname, It was changed then unchanged when i asked. I just don’t understand.

I was banned a few weeks ago from the server for misbehaving myself with staff and in discord, I want to express my sincere apologies to GodsDead for behaving like such a little kid on the Piratecraft discord and saying things I’ve never should of. If I get unbanned I can guarantee this situation will not be repeated, as I have learnt my lesson and I just will shut up. It would be great to be back in the server with my friends. Unban Appeal

Hi, please could you consider unbanning this user? I have spoken to them, and they are unsure what they have done to cause the ban. I apologise if they have caused any offence, but their behaviour as far as I am aware is normally exemplary, and they have never been banned or warned before on any Minecraft server.

The reason stated is ‘advertising’. I can confirm that the user has no affiliation with any third party site or product, and would not have any reason, financial or otherwise, to promote any brand or product. A permanent ban without any warning or explanation (beyond a single word) seems severe, so I can only assume that the offence was equally severe, but am perplexed as to what it might have been.

If you aren’t willing to rescind the ban, then please could you provide some further information as to the precise nature of the offence?

Why I was banned: on March 6 of 2019 I was banned specifically for posting memes in the discord that were rude, disrespectful, and false regarding the staff here on piratecraft. Another, more general and ongoing reason that I was banned, was my continued disrespect towards godsdead, the staff, and the players here.

I am genuinely sorry for the way i disrespected you (godsdead), the staff, and the players. Now I see that I was wrong to be as rude as I was towards all of you, and now I think I know how to avoid getting in a position where I want to disrespect any of you in the first place. Regardless of whether I get unbanned or not, I am asking for your forgiveness.

I truly do want to be a part of this community again, and this time as someone who does not bring it down with toxicity. Even though several of my bans and mutes were made when me and various staff members were simply joking around, I know that 13 bans, 25 mutes, and a warning doesn’t exactly look good. I guess my best defense against this and the fact that I never changed much in between all of the “second chances” is that it’s been a year since I was banned and that while I can still change a lot more than I already have, I believe I have changed who I am quite a bit. I don’t know how I can show this but I would be happy to discuss it in further detail if you’d like.

I hope you will consider this knowing that I am genuinely sorry for being rude, disrespectful, and slanderous towards you, the staff, and the entire playerbase here, and promise to never be like that towards any of you again.

On a semi-related note, if this is accepted I would also like to request that my discord, Astro#1680, be unbanned as well.

I have been a member of this server over a good number of years now, unfortunately when attempting to return to the server as I have done a number of times, I found I was unable to log into my old account – Swordsmanship. After receiving some sound advice from Godsdead (Thank you), I will be raising a support ticket with Mojang. In the mean-time, the aim is to become a valued member of the server on this account.

Hoping not to begin again, hitting trees, I was wondering if a Moderator would mind transferring the claims from my old account to this account please? Primarily the claim I have close to the West Warp: -3,050, 60, -850 which I would like to continue with.

Hello, I am aware this is like my third ban appeal for acting immature towards the owner of the server.  It has been about a year since my original ban, I have no excuses about my actions, I am aware it has only been about 6 months since my reban, but, I feel that I have changed quite dramatically over these past 6 months, as I have started taking more difficult courses and matured greatly.  I am aware that after my second ban I tried to appeal to godsy who told me the reason why I was banned was “I was immature behavior” Looking back I realise how much of a shitstain I was and how toxic I acted towards the community.  Time away from the server made me focus on school and forced me to think about my decisions to be toxic on this server.  It was my actions, and mine alone, that got me this ban. I now realise that I should not have blamed the staff team, as it was my own actions and behavior that caused me to get banned in the first place, so I apologize.  To Piratecraft staff and everyone that played with me.  If I don’t get unbanned, I completely understand why, as I was a prick both before and after my original ban.  Piratecraft was a very fun server to me and was a significant part in growing up, and I do not want to lose that because of my irrational and immature, actions and decisions.  In hindsight, I feel ashamed to have acted so entitled, feeling that I deserved to play on this server.  It is the staff team, and GodsDead’s choice as to who they let play on this server, and they are completely in their right to weed out the toxic people, to which I was one.  I am aware that I was given many chances to straighten myself out and be a more mature member of the community, and I ended up ruining them because I had not yet matured enough to realize my actions were not acceptable towards people.  So I am here once more to ask if I can be given one final chance to prove that I can be a more mature person, and be apart of this community once more, if you will have me.
