If you have a build that is currently protected by an admin claim, that you want transfured to yourself, respond to this thread or talk to me (GodsDead) or Iamthereaper89 in-game.

Tonight we have an admin claim cleanup, Opening up these builds to pirates to do as you wish with them.

This is the list of different ships we could have, altough did not come up with the config yet.

Frigate: In the 17th century, the term was used for any warship built for speed and maneuverability, the description often used being “frigate-built”. So this would be having a size limit though it would be fast, this all could be changed from the config.
You should make it so a frigate can only be from a certain size to a certain size like 300-600 for example(dont take this number just giving examples). maybe it can carry only a few cannons?

Galleon: This is one of the bigger ships, and would have a minimum size of let’s say 1200? I don’t know you make the numbers not me, and with the Galleon you can carry more cannons as a perk I guess, cant think of perks atm.

Galley: This is a kinda medium sized ship, and normally wont carry cannons but is really fast because it uses oars more than sails, pros can be that it doesn’t need sails and is fast but for cons cannot carry any cannons aboard. so it would be more like a get away ship.

Man-of-War: This is may be the biggest could be around 2300 blocks maybe more, again you make the number, maybe have a debate about the pros and cons and sizes with the donators and trusted players, idk, this could have around 20-40 cannons however is a bit slow in sailing but it’s size is gives it more durability so it wont get shot down easily and that it has numerous cannons to hold

All claims were lost, all visible builds were re-claimed as admin claims to protect from looting/griefing.
Me and Reaper havent set a timelimit till these expire yet, ask either Iamthereaper89 or GodsDead in-game to calim an admin claim as your own.

Gameplay as normal, no extra special rules 🙂

Well, I went on, and suddenly the house where we test the commands has gone, theres a castle sign saying Tim and Adzy, and spawn has a tent. So, with no more home/base, is our job done? And is the sever close, or are there anymore plugins that need testing? But if its nearing completion…

I know this sounds gutting.
But I think we should completely start again.
I know it’s harsh coming from me considering my builds are generally awful builds, but I was on another server that did a complete reset and everyone’s fine with it, no one really cares that they’ve lost their stuff…however
I notice reaper talks about how much diamonds he’s amassed so I say we tell GodsDead or Iamthereaper, register with them what we have in this world in terms of items, this can be written down on a piece of paper, only items we definitely need, not the loose piece of string we got off a spider, a real life note of the stuff we want to keep, naturally someone might say they’ve got something they don’t have, so GodsDead or reaper or another trusted player roots round the chests, makes sure the claims that someone’s making are legit, then reaper and GodsDead are given creative in the next world and can compensate people
I know also that reaper’s build of the skull’s like a big thing and it took him ages, but, despite how crappy they are, it’s the same deal with my ships, and my hidden vault, it’s just a case of doing it again unfortunately..what I’m trying to say is
Builds and items are not priority, priority is a new map with the playing settings the way we want them.
Therefore if need be we’ll sacrifice those builds and items, unfortunately

Another thing is the fact that this is called a pirate server however there’s not much to suggest such
Islands need to be bigger, on the new map I’d prefer if we had loads of current spawn size islands and one mainland, than if we have like what is it now? 3 mainlands? and loads of crappy small islands.
Port Royal wasn’t a friggin 7 meter stretch of sand, islands do need to be ready to be turned into town, islands like our current spawn, as in medieval town style builds need to be out there, it’s easy for me or anyone who fancies it to make a nice little town with the right amount of claim blocks, but the location is a pang in the thighs usually
That being said, the town thing’s just a minor issue, I could with relative comfort build a town right now

I have previously bitched about the ship size and speed, no need for me to expand on that really, I know you’ve considered it

Look I know these are high demands and tall orders, for a 2 man run server, I don’t think they’re unreachable, I know the grief prev configuration’s become something of a nuisance…
I don’t know, that’s where my minds at up there, sorry if anything annoyed you slightly, I probably fired a bit of naivety out up there
