I have given up waiting for plugins to update for 1.13, so testing has started today, on Halloween! We are testing a bit differently this time, I will be testing a small pocket of plugins at a time, so this initial test server is running on bare minimal plugins, close to vanilla! I will list everything that needs testing, and keep the list of broken plugins that need replacing.

The way this works is, I will upload the plugins and check for technical issues on console etc, and all in-game testing is done by players & staff and reported here & the 1.13 discord.

Information

The world data, that is your builds, inventory, echest etc, all the world data is from 31 October 2018, you cant forget this date, its Halloween!

How to connect

From the survival do /server test to connect and /server survival to get back.

Alternatively you can add the url test.piratemc.com into your server list, this will also show a custom MOTD and whos on it.

Harassing

Detailed Information

As the harassment still did happen while I was in The Asylum (TAS), it was not as severe and I did not bother documenting anything. I was still exhausted of it but I didn’t want to upset TAS. However, after I joined The Coalition (CLTN) the harassment quickly became constant, and I felt tired and degraded so I started documenting it.

I cannot provide evidence of the constant comments spoken in the server’s TeamSpeak, as I do not record it, however I honestly couldn’t count the times I’ve been called “thot” or “hoe” out loud in the TeamSpeak. Also since the “shrek cult” came around, he has casually been making jokes about rape, some of them being directed towards me such as “bend over for shrek” (evidence below). Drifting has also renamed himself in TeamSpeak “Lego has a plastic dildo for curlyy” and that’s only one example.

Once, I vividly remember leaving the TeamSpeak channel to fix my microphone, and Drifting quickly joined and said, “oh I thought this was the bush” then left after mentioning earlier Shrek and raping me. SmokeyRiver has even told him to refrain from using these terms and comments but he persisted after staff told him to stop.  As a minor, I hate the way he talks to me, and I feel as though I am being harassed by Drifting. He has said other things towards my friends, but that is a completely different story and not as severe as what he has done towards me. He once mentioned in ally chat recently a comment about a mental health issue about my friend River (screenshots below).

I don’t understand why Drifting has made these comments towards me, if it was “power” or something else. Whatever it was, I am hurt by the derogatory terms and phrases made towards me. Thank you for your reading this through, as it has been damaging my self esteem for a couple of months now.

Evidence (I am replying with extra evidence as I may not be able to fit it all)-

Halloween is one of the favorite holidays for  a lot of PirateCraft staff, so we will be doing small events all over these few months.

After still having Easters crate up this long! GrimbeardsBoneBox Halloween crate has some special things in it!

• This is the first crate you can win a key for our next create that isn’t even out yet! For SmokeyRivers birthday she wanted a Harry Potter crate to celebrate her birthday and the upcoming new film on November 16th! so you are able to already win a key in preparation for that crate, the only way to get the Harry Potter Crate key is via the Halloween crate at present, there is no other way.

Unban Appeal

Hi there all,

(Forewarning I tried posting this once and it didn’t seem to work)

I was just wondering if I could get some clarification on my ban. I understand what I did and why I was given a punishment, however I am unsure of why it has continued to be increased. After the incident I was immediately warned by three different staff members for my actions. I was then banned and understood that after a discussion  my punishment may have been reasonably changed to a more severe one which I get. However I would like some clarification as to why my ban was extended from the initial week or so that I was banned for to a three month ban instead. I have already tried asking in a more private setting so as to not call attention to anything but was ignored. If I could have this explained to me it would be appreciated, i don’t like having the punishment continue to grow without any sort of stated reasoning.

I was banned for attempting to dupe diamonds. I never thought id come back after what u said the last time, but I’ve always found myself wanting to come back, only to see and remember the ”You have been banned” on my screen. I’ve tried other servers and none are as good as PirateMC in terms the content it upholds, or even moreso the community. I have learned my lesson, more than i thought i would. Therefore, I would like to ask once more, if i could have one last chance to play on your server. I promise nothing will ever be broken by my means again, EVER.</span>
