Not really quite sure how I got banned but I think someone use my account that I know in real life when their account was banned I did nothing wrong just now wanting to start playing pmc and found out that my account is banned.

Unban Appeal

I was banned 6 months ago with no warning or reason. So, i ask to be unbanned as i did nothing wrong and therefore i believe i do not deserve my permanent ban, or at least if i do i wish to be given a justification for said ban under this thread if possible. I did nothing wrong in order to get a ban, and i do not understand why i am banned to this day.

Hey Staff,

Its been 6 months since I got banned on Piratecraft for xraying. I have had 6 long months to reflect on the actions that led to my ban. I have of course realized that what I was doing was extremely wrong and damaging to the server. I’ve joined other communities in this time but none have welcomed me like the crew I joined in Piratecraft. And none have been as fun and had the interesting dynamic players have in this server. People in the crew were very friendly and welcoming to me. Even if I was on the server for a very short time I missed it during the time I’ve been banned. I would like to ask you to give me the chance to come back and hunt down bounties and build my own ship!

I got banned for 2 things, the first was toxic behavior and harassment, I did not harass anyone I did kill a lot of players that were in Rome but it was only for one day and I did not target anyone. The second thing is harassment of players and releasing private information (which depending on the degree is illegal in real life). Im assuming you are talking about the Instagram chat I made about President_B. It was fake and I did it because I thought it would be funny. It was meant to be a joke and they all thought it was funny until they decided to kick me from the crew and try to use it against me to get me banned. This is Re post cause last one got closed. I wholeheartedly did not mean to promote this server nor did I know the advertising rules were so strict. If I were unbanned I would never speak in chat again. Still don’t know exactly what I was banned for since the ban reason is unclear, It’s been 16 months since my ban and felt like it was time to appeal.

Firstly, the catching up to players method is just due to the fact that when a player gets hit a velocity packet is sent to the server and vertical kb is taken (Vertical kb is a set rate, so no matter what hit I did it would send them up the same amount.) Once a player is in the air they will move slower then a player on the ground, thus allowing a player to catch up and repeat the said process over again.

Secondly, I want to clear up the air a little bit since I’m still appealing based of my best judgment of what a player will call me out for being sketchy about.
– I already explained the Speed Accusations.
As far as I can tell from the very few pieces of evidence I’ve been provided is that I was banned for speed hacks while in water. When it happened I was next to Jusa (Not sure what his ign even is nowadays) and when Jusa ran into me I got player collisoned. Allowing me to go faster then he could while in the water  (This is prior to 1.13 where it would be a lot harder for two players’ hitboxes to contact each other.)
– Another point people will probably make is my aim. There’s no real way to explain someone’s aim besides just stating that is legit. I mean it’s expected for someone’s aim to be at least decent to the point that they miss very few hits after doing gaming with the same sensitivity and settings for a mouse since 2015 / 2016.
– The last point someone will make on me is probably the thing I do where I look up and hit a player while barely hitting their hitbox. This is just abusing the fact that this game runs off 20 ticks so the rate between a player’s hitbox and their body’s placement will sometimes look distorted due to server lag. It looks a lot more sketchy when the second player hits the first player a little bit slower allowing the hit packet to be sent on the second packet instead of right after the first velocity packet allowing the hit to look even sketchier. I was banned for x-ray 5 months and 28 days ago, and I was wondering if I could be unbanned. I fully understand it was wrong, and I will not do it again, but it’s a little annoying waiting it all the way out. I also heard somewhere that it won’t auto unban me on this server, so I’m making my time (almost) waited out request. If I don’t get unbanned before the 15th at 5:00 PAT I totally understand. I remember the day of this ban, it happened 358 days ago and I regret it. I want to start by making it clear that I have 3 accounts.

To begin with, I want to give my sincere apologies to anyone this ‘troll’ affected (I’m not mocking the term, but making it clear what I was punished for). I understand the ban, trolling should not be allowed and I have no other words except I am sorry. To be honest, this was 358 days ago and I don’t entirely remember the reason I was punished. I’ve been wanting to post this appeal for several months but decided, I was punished and for doing what I did I’d like to punish myself and wait longer.

I want to return to PirateMC because I enjoyed the community and the excitement inside of it. I want to dedicate days and days of time into it. I’d also like to make up for the wrongs I’ve done by playing again and proving myself to not be the person I was nearly a year ago. I have changed and I was quite immature at that time and I took some things too seriously and such. I would like to clarify the alternative accounts issue. I have three brothers in my family, two who are not into minecraft what-so-ever and one who is strongly into it as I was. He constantly plays it on my previous accounts as I quit until these last few weeks. (I can prove this if needed). I personally believe that my brother attempted to play on PirateMC with one of the alternative accounts because he doesn’t exactly understand the reason for the ban and he knows how to navigate through my 3 alternative accounts. (Lets be clear, he is 10 years old.) I’d like to say I am sorry for the fact that (possibly) he logged unto PirateMC and made it look as if I was attempting to evade the ban.

In conclusion, I understand the ban that was put onto me and I wish to return to the server because I am a dedicated player. I was and wish to be again at least. I love this server and I’d like to ask for another chance on here. I wish to redeem myself and once again live the life on PirateMC.

Around the time of when the Halloween Crate was being made, @Lawzoneon took it upon himself to make a Harry Potter Crate for SmokeyRivers birthday, We waited until the release of Fantastic Beasts 2: The Crimes of Grindelwald, which is tomorrow, Nov 16th to save this crate as it’s a very random oddity to have in the PirateCraft world I know! So for those that are fans of Harry Potter, there is a new crate available now at /warp cove, its in a different place to the normal one as the Halloween one still stands for people to use their keys, so its on the shore, with Harry standing next to it, you cant miss it.

• Keys that were dropped from the Halloween crate named “smokeyrivers soul” can be traded next to harry for the new keys which are named “alohomora” aka the spell to open locks
• You can buy keys by using /donate in-game, I haven’t put them on the store yet as im not sure how long we will keep this crate
• 2 keys will be dropped every 30 mins to 1 player online
