Hello, I’m ArtificialDemon, and I was a player on the server until around New Years. On January 3rd, I was banned by SmokeyRiver. Let me explain. I decided that I wanted to leave the community, but at the time, I wanted to ensure that I wouldn’t be coming back, so I decided to get myself banned without doing something that would hurt anyone in the community.

I had made an obvious fake x-ray post to get rid of myself in the style of Haydenfire, and was asked about it later in the day. After being asked if I was sure I wanted banned, I was banned by Smokey. Over the months, I have continued to use the Teamspeak, albeit rather infrequently. I would occasionally pop in to ask about server news.

Today, I was made aware that banned players were not allowed on Teamspeak, though rather abruptly with a ban. When I had been banned from the server, I was made aware that I may stay if I don’t cause issues, but if the policy has changed, I would like to try to appeal my ban. If I could, I would love to continue to associate with some of the people I have come to know over the past couple of years if possible. If that is not possible, I completely understand and respect the decision of the staff member reading this.

If needed, I can provide the picture that I had uploaded to the forums. I thank you for your time.

First things first.

LONG LIVE THE PENGUIN CO.! In response to the events that follow in this article, Penguin Co. will soon open a warp shop shop! Penguin co. is long from being out of buisness, despite the fact that the shop is gone. We can still do warp meet, folks.

For everything that follows, I have screenshot evidence of the things people said and did, although not of the initial attack. Please tell me if there’s a certain event that you want proven.

Today I joined at 10:00pm eastern (or thereabouts). I found to my horror that someone blew up (likely with tnt) my shop and *some* of the adjacent farmland. They stole my chests too. I also found that someone had disabled claimexplosion protection.

First of all, a lot of people have motives to destroy my shop. Some people just plain hate me. But merchants such as BE and Hydra do not like to see me selling so cheaply.

The only two people who have /trust at this location were online in the past 6 hours.: Great_man_7, and Benthebruce. However, I owe large sums of money to both of them. They would both loose thousands of dollars by committing this crime. BUT- the villager farm which benthebruce was working on at my base (also the reason I owe him 2k still and why I /trusted him) – was not destroyed. That fact goes against benthebruce. This was in a hidden location, but so was my vault, which was attacked. The fact that the vault was hidden goes in BE’s favor, since if he was a crook and he knew about it you would think he would destroy it.

Great_man_7 has mined hundreds of diamonds and given them over without a second thought for very little money. We’ve known each other since EM was still a thing. It wouldn’t make much sense for him to do it, especially since he’s mined a stack of diamonds just now.

However, one of my chests, which was robbed during this attack, had the sword “HackFalcon” in it. A few hours before, SmokeyRivers had given me the sword back (it’s a long story). I had put it in one of the chests today. P1ndr0p alleged that a sword of the same name was sold to him, about 30 mins ago, by Benthebruce. This can’t be correct, since benthebruce logged 50 minutes ago at that point. So either p1ndr0p is not correct, or is lying. Then, p1 killed Trooper306 to “prove” it was authentic. First of all, why would trooper volunteer to be killed? He’s got other things to do besides prove to me that a sword was authentic. Secondly, P1ndr0p could’ve easily killed me to prove the same thing. Third, P1 may have named the sword to help frame BE. See, if Benthebruce had sold p1 the sword, it would mean BE members are crooks.

Browe_ then killed someone with a sword named HackFalcon, likely a different sword, just to “prove” that p1’s hackfalcon could’ve been fake. Again, BE trying to prove they were in the clear.

Someone obviously knows a lot about this. They know I had a sword with that name. They know how the sword and the trustees and everything fits into the puzzle. They know that someone is trying to frame someone. Both BE and Hydra seem to have a reason to frame the other group, so which do I believe? Hydra has destroyed another base of mine before, but they admitted to that one immediately.

Both Hydra and BE are merchants who both are affected by the amount and price of what I sell. Who did it? Did both of them collaborate? That would be unlikely. Is there a deep conspiracy on the server? TAS members were being hostile to me too, I wonder if that has anything to do with anything. Of course, several TAS members usually are.

Finally, my shop was flattened to the GROUND. Whoever did this didnt just want my valuables. They wanted to destroy my business.

If BE attacked my base, this will be a very deep case.

So, I’d like to know 3 things:

1) Could someone from staff come just to confirm the explosion wasn’t using a glitch, or something like that to blow up my base (maybe cannons or something), and possibly tell me some information about what happened

2) Could someone provide me with more evidence than I already have and

3) Is there a chance my shop will be rolled back? I’ve heard conflicting things about this. Some people have gotten rollbacks, some haven’t, and there doesn’t seem to be any criteria for it. This was a pretty serious grief, if that counts for anything.

Finally, I have untrusted everyone and turned claimexplosions off in one of the claims.

I rest my case, and would appreciate any assistance.

Unjail Appeal

I humbly ask to be unjailed. 1 week ban I belive was more than enough time for me to see the error of my ways. Its not like I decapitated a poor deckie, hacked the server, ruined the economy, or tried to lead a revolution against the server. But having 10 more days in jail is horrifying. I could not imagine a worse fate, actually I can but I wont say because I do not wish to suffer that punishment. I get it don’t upset staff. I learned my lesson and I hope we can move on. I’m sorry to GodsDead for any salty waves I surfed and apologies and hope He will let me play. I love this game and not being on is tearing me apart { Figuratively of course}. Please let me come back on I miss the players and the awesome community. I promise not to surf any more salty waves and hope we can move onward to a brighter future.  If I have not stated it before I most humbly request to be unjailed so that I might be able to experience piratecraft in all its fun and exciting environments and community. I ask you to please consider my apology and I hope to hear from you soon.

So, I recently asked an admin (SmokeyRiver) why they caused so much drama just for banning someone, in this I asked “why are you banning them” I happend to have played with this person a few times. The admin replied “Because they are toxic.” I told the admin that that is an inappropriate use of banning and that causing so much drama on server (Using announcements to ask players what the punishment should be) is inappropriate. Logged off to use the washroom… came back to find myself jailed for 24 hours, not the only time either, I had a few weeks before lost a bunch of items from a chest with a stone block on it… This admin was a part of the raid AND it was the only locked chest. I lost a nether star, diamond set with prot 4 chest plate and a pickaxe with almost everthing. hmmm…. Is this an abuse of power?? I’m extremely offended since i have put a lot of my time into this game without cheating, along with the fact i’ve donated a good chunk of my money into it to.

Unban Appeal:

To who ever this may concern, I would like to be shown further factual evidence of my supposed use of a hacked client. Many of my so called suspicious movements can be easily explained and shown if needed. Also feel free to contact me if you want me to screen share or show files on my computer. Firstly, one of the main reasons I am reported or “hackusated” is due to me catching up to   people while we both are running at equivalent speeds. The way this is done is common knowledge if you know game mechanics. It’s the same mechanic that enables you to be able to bridge faster while shifting on the side of a block. Diagonal movement is faster in Minecraft not only in straight lines, but you must also predict the players path that you are chasing and try to intercept it while chasing them.

– You can also easily move sideways and sprint as long as you hold down

Ctrl  + W + (A or D) and this movement can also be done while looking sideways

Secondly, My supposed Aura is not aura at all, i play on a Razer DeathAdder mouse which has a very sensitive sensor and i play on 2400 dpi with 100 Sensitivity in Mc itself and it’s very easy to do 360 hits, and I’ve been doing it for like 2 years now.

– Thirdly, another issue that was apparently recorded in a video of me, is that it appeared that i used “Speed Hacks”. There are multiple ways that this could have appeared. Due to the fact that I do not have this footage of this suspicious moment I  will state the way that I believe this happened.

– Firstly, and the most probable way is that Jusa was close enough to me as i started

To run and then he caused player collision which boosted me forward appearing as hacks.

– I do not know if I had any other suspicious movements that were done in this evidence. This is just my explanation of the issues Smokeyriver brought forward.

I have not been keeping up with changelogs and just cracking out content, so I may have forgotten things I have changed!

PirateCraft Survival

• Added Xmas World /warp xmas, or /warp event or /warp station and go through the portal. Check it on the livemap
• Added 18 custom mobs from last years Xmas event, Massive props go out to @calliemav for making these last year, I only had to tweak and change a few things to get them working again this year! Changed a few skills, timings, health/damage from a few mobs.
• Added 40 custom items that drop from custom mob deaths at /warp xmas Massive thanks goes out to @smokeyriver, Me and some players for naming all these items, their lore etc for this years custom items, can you collect all 40 items?
• Added Treasure Chest loot box system, you would have seen this before. There is a special chest at /warp cove, on the boat directly as you spawn on your left. You can left click it to see the items that can be won from the Treasure chest (Loot crate), if you have a key you can right click the key on it to open the treasure chest for a random prize (Theres an awesome CSGO Crate animation!)
  • The First PirateCraft Treasure chest is XMAS themed and is called the “Clauss Coffer” It has 16 custom items, some that cant be crafted with normal game play! Massive props go out to @MrClusterFluxin Old MrBluBeardedYeti himself! He designed all the items, tested and created this Treasure Chest!
  • HOW DO I GET KEYSSSSSSS!
    • Well get yourself down to /warp xmas and fight our two main bosses, Santa and Frostie, you can work as a team to attack these boss’s and once you kill them, everyone that dealt significant damage to the boss will be in with a 40% chance of getting a key given to them, thats right everyone that helped take down that pesky Santa claus or that Icy Frostie!
    • Too much effort? You can also /donate for a pack of 5 keys! Soon to be listed on https://piratemc.com/donate/ at present they are $2.75 for a pack of 5, and there is still a 15% off coupon “yohoho” to take advantage of.

NEW MINI-GAME!

This one has gone completely under the radar, as its still in alpha testing, but its way better gameplay than the Halloween event, which was a bit of a shambles with the Nuggets issue, The developer STILL hasn’t fixed the nugget issue, So I moved on.

So before you jump in, please note this is still alpha, and there will need to be a ton of tweaks made over time.

PirateCraft BootyWars!

PirateCraft bootywars can be played from using /server bootywars or /bootywars from survival, and soon to be a NPC and on the /play menu at /hub.

BootyWars is the Eggwars/Bedwars mini-game mode for Minecraft, but instead of an Egg or Bed you have to protect your Booty chest! This is a very mature plugin we are using to run the mini-game so its feature rich! Its got everything we need.

Massive props to @MrClusterFluxin and @Maximus for helping design, test and build. Blu smashing it again created 2 of the game worlds!

• Added entire new server, Just for BootyWars
• Added Lobby World
• Added 3 Worlds for 3 different maps
• If you have an idea for a BootyWars map, go and build it in /hub creative server and we can make it a reality, massive bonus points if its pirate themed
• New Game to come soon that will be all pirate ships on water that kills you if you fall in! Bit of a twist on the floating island gameplay!
• The feature list is too long, just get in and play.
• There will be a whole new forum created just for this mini-game to report issues, request features, post that you have created a game on creative, organise a time to play with others or in teams.
• We do plan to have some form of system to use your coins between servers in the future
• We do plan to have leaderboards for player statistics on the website for the mini game too in the future

I have definitely forgotten something I have changed or credit to someone that has helped, I will update this thread as needed when im reminded of things we have changed recently and not documented!
