Dear Sir or Madam,

I’m sorry for my behavior and for the rules that I’ve broken 2 years ago. I was too greedy back then and should’nt have used x – ray because it’s not fair to the other players who play this game in the way it’s meant to be. I also shouldnt have lied to you about x – ray. Lies make everything worse and have a really bad aftertaste.

Now Iam 2 years older and more mature then before. In these 2 years I changed a lot and been through a lot. I dont have to use hacks or something like that to have fun at this game. I want to play fair now and Iam willing to do so. I haven’t used hacks since 1 year and Iam disgusted by the way I was playing back then. Unfair.

Please take away some ores that I gathered through x – ray. But not my Fortress in the north please.

So I beg you to unban me and let me come back as the rightful King of Angmar (the clan that I founded) “BloodyShine” who knows nothing but fairplay and honesty.

I want to be a part of the community again because your server is incredibly unique by the play style and care that you people give to the players.

Please let me come back. Im sorry.

Spiky – this is years old. This was posted months after I joined ( 4 years ago. )

I’m sure it can still be honoured in some way, but perhaps you’d have better luck contacting Elo106, or @Godsdead, perhaps even @Maximus_Terragon.

Hey, Ice msged me on discord and asked me to post an unban request for him, since he can’t do it himself, his acc is being wierd or something. I felt like since he was an old player, and he seemed like he had matured quite a bit, id post it for him. I believe we should allow him one last chance. Alright then, Ill get onto the appeal.

Hello, I hope everyone is doing well – This is basically just an apology for how much of a dingus I have been on PMC during my nearly 6 years on the server. Firstly, and most importantly, I would like to publicly apologize to Gods. Although we may have never gotten on, I can only begin to imagine how hard and stressful it is to manage life and run a large server – and I know, I played a part in creating unnecessary stress and anger for you, and for that I’m sorry. I have wasted countless hours of your time when you could have been doing something much more worthy of your time – it Is simply inconceivable how much of a prick I was. Another member of the hard-working staff team that I feel needs addressing is Max. Max, you are the certainly the most helpful and kindest member of staff – I feel I may have taken advantage of you and your kindness towards me in order to prolong the time until my inevitable ban. And lastly, to the Pirate Craft community. I am sorry for intoxicating the chat, being hostile and rude to fellow pirates and ruthlessly killing innocent players – there isn’t really any excuse to justify my behavior, it was simply unacceptable. I regularly check the live map and forums to see how the server is doing, and I am glad to see an increase in numbers since my ban – and all the new faces! I know it is very cliché, but I have grown-up and I have stopped acting like I am half my age. I enjoyed coming home from school, doing my work, then hopping on to PMC in the evenings and I know my behavior in the months leading up to my ban prevented other players from experiencing that same joy – so again, I am sorry.

Time to paint the Path of Glory in the Blood of those who are not worthy.

Interesting very interesting. Hmm true it has been some time, but it was a worthy ban from what I hear. I myself was shocked to hear of what happened. If anything I don’t know what to say. Usually I have a witty remark ,but for this I am at a loss. I understand your want to return to the server, but I think that is a thing that is between you and the staff. If they deem you worthy of a second chance then I hope we will see you again. If not I suggest waiting it out a bit more before reapplying for an unban request. From the forums post GodsDead posted you were not the only one to be involved in this scandalous event. I’m surprised that the others haven’t asked for an unban request. Mabey they have come to terms with what they did and don’t wish to return.

What are your reasons? I would like to know what you would do different. From what I have seen in your forums post it is not unlike others. You are sorry about what you did. You want to return. You feel bad, but you have yet to offer what you would change.

You say you are a new person. Prove it. Please post another forums post and tell us what you would do differently this time.

What you would do to make up for your actions. How would you move forward this time. It is good that you recognize what you did was bad. Perhaps give us a peek of the person who you have changed into and what your goals for the future on this server are. Perhaps you wish to grow the economy back to a healthy status. Perhaps you wish to encourage players to come to this server and help them learn the game and want to stay. These are merely suggestions.

So what say you? What would you do differently?

Over all the years I’ve played video games, I never have been so compelled to play a Minecraft server more than PirateCraft. When I first logged on around 4 years ago, everyone on the server was so welcoming and helpful. Between fighting Crusaders of the Void with Solis, joining the Asylum, and then breaking away to help form the Coalition, Piratecraft has provided me with a whole arsenal of good memories with friends. Since the money incident and accepting my ban, I have had time to think over my actions and what damage I did to others in the process of my perusal of power. Contrary to my previous actions, I have matured, would like to apologize for my actions, and request an gracious un-banning.

When I received a deserving permaban on 16 September 2018, I lost a main hub of communication with many of my friends. I didn’t recognise how much PirateCraft meant to me before I was banned. I had this mindset of not caring about anything, and that led me to throw away over 3 years of friendships and fun. If I come back, I will be an outstanding member of the community again, like I once was before I took a wrong turn. While some of you might not believe me, over these 8 months I have reconsidered my attitude towards everyone, and matured as a person. In my local community, I took up community service work and that really brought a new perspective to my life on how I should treat others. I really didn’t take the whole “treat others as you want to be treated” thing seriously until recently. I believe I am ready to come back and provide a positive impact to the PirateCraft community.

TLDR: To everyone that has played PirateCraft and doesn’t know what I participated in, basically I was very immature and did some ridiculous stuff. I helped damage the economy by adding thousands in an illegal way and boosted my position in the progress. I was power hungry and would do anything to get it, and did not think about the repercussions that would follow. During my time off I have greatly matured to become a better person, and I hope maybe one day PirateCraft can see that side of me again.

Custom terrain work eh? Im not sure how good I would be at such things ,but perhaps I might try and dabble in it.

Between running a crew and building I find my time mostly taken by those things that occupy me.

I am happy to hear that a no tp weekend would be fair game. I am happy that you approve GodsDead. Perhaps this forums request as not fallen on deaf ears. It is good to know players support it. My question would be thou.

Is it a simple thing to do? To turn off pvp like flipping a switch or is it a bit more complicated than that?

I would suggest that perhaps we try it for this coming weekend. I am not sure if that is feasible, but it would be most interesting or perhaps not. I’m sure we would need to take some time to inform the other players of this change for a weekend. We would not wish to destress these other players. God knows how they might take it without a fair advanced notice. Mabey thou a surprise no tp weekend is just the thing we need to kick off a wonderful time.

Thank you Cysteen for the feedback I see your point.

Yes I realize this is not a new idea but its just that an idea. I am hoping that maybe with enough people requesting or commenting on this we can bring some attention to it.

I’m absolutely fine that it is not a priority I understand GodsDead has an update to deal with.

Oy you Landlubers go see GodsDeads post and thank him. He is putting in a butt load of effort.

He he sorry over excited. This is wonderful news. Im sure the piratecraft community is greatly appreciative of your time and effort into saving our world as it is the only thing we know. Ha ha joking but for reals a shout out to the server owner for taking the time and effort to make the transition of updates easier on us all.

Thank you all so much for your replies. I see that many of you agree that a Test Period would be good. Any suggestions as to how many days or weeks that this would go? Personally I think 2 or 3 weeks for the Test period of Removal of tp or an alternative would be great. Please tell your friends in Discord or online about this. I would love to get more replies to this topic so I can present a case to the admins and GodsDead for an approval of a Test Period for the removal of Tps.

We vet all custom code that run on the server first, so a github with the changes will be required, we have a ton of custom work that needs doing if you are game.

Best place to start is discord, http://discord.piratemc.com/ you can find me (GodsDead) the server owner in there, I can give you a small task for fixing a plugin(s) or creating something new if you wish to get started, we have roles setup for developers in-game, discord and we have a staff page https://piratemc.com/information/team/ with a developer section.
