@godsdead @alex lazescu @dr.solid .the economy is changing were going from a pirates server to a merchants only server. i think we need to keep the merchants at bay and make the npc shops as fast as possible (sry if that sentance stresst you out gods ). i got a stack of diamonds today for only 764 bucks and i would have gottwn it for 640 if it wassent for hardtimez messing with my custermors.
764$ only? that dosent sound right!. we need to make the economy stick to the price when it comes to diamonds and other ores (also things like armour and swords). so i came up with a simple plan to fix this
Plan:
1.make the official minimum price for diamonds be 20.
2. make the npc shops. so players dont get there money from selling diamonds cheap cheap cheap!
3.make it a law to not go below this price (for the respect of role play). you wont get banned but you will pay a fee.
i think this is simple plan that can be done in a month or two (if the npc shops are working when we start)..

There was an issue with some plug-ins just after reset; mods are asking that all players please avoid getting on until the issues are fixed!
There will likely be a rollback, meaning anything you do between now and the issue fix will be reverted.
So please, help the mods by playing something else tonight; or you know go outside and play or something.
@GodsDead please let us know when he issue is resolved!

@GodsDead It’s a good idea, we should combine what ideas and work I, CallieMav, Ma_c_hi, you and anyone have been working on on the Dev server one day, enabling/disabling permissions for WorldGaurd areas can be set for the areas around the NPC Shops.
And we can take it a step further, so players CAN achieve these “Special” trade items through in game activities, (planting, mining, etc.), however the regions where these items can be found will have a border where tp and tp-related commands are disabled. This also contributes to the idea of the major powers in the world competing for resource caches, much like Trade Co.’s did in the 1600’s and so on. However I think this is getting a bit ahead of ourselves, and we must first test the very basics of the idea: non-teleportable and non-vanilla attainable items which need to be bought and sold for potential profit.

as i said before we already mentiond this you were not there!
everything with the shops was well planned the only problem we had was the tp we whantted players to use ships but to make the shops there was no other way exept taking tp of for good. now godsdead has found a sulution .i dont think we need to add more stuff to it but i think @athemos12 can explain what we were planing better then i can.

OK, so, what I am hearing, is that all player warps are removed, but still their? I love it! But @GodsDead, you should make four additional shops, if that was not already said. Each shop could sell a completely different variety of items but yet in the same theme. Like, as if shop was built in/near a forest, it sells would, animal food, and its main resource. But some might ask, “What about a snow place?” Well, first, aren’t all snow biomes controlled by the BE? EX: Shop A is in a desert, thus it sells desert related items. Shop B is in a Mountain, thus it sells ores, and resources. Shop C is in a forest, thus it sells forest animals, wood, leaves, and forest related foods. Shop D is in a prairie, thus it sells grass, a lot of animals along with the food source. Also now the selling side off each Shop A buys coal, and wood related items because it need fuel. Shop B would need wood and glass. Shop C would buy stone to protect it from mobs, also stone\ores fore axes and defenses. Shop D would need ores for swords and shovels for clearing grass and animals. So thus our economy would be built.

One important thing: These skins aren’t yet finished. Please don’t use them for the present. Quality has been mentioned before, we only want the best for PirateCraft. That is why the skins still have to be updated to a more HD format. Small changes can make a big difference:

Now he made the perfect skin with the especifications i told and the big prize was of 1000$ and 2 diamond blocks
Even do Paul was the only contestant (sadly) he made the best skin posible out of some random sh*t i said.
i think its fair to say he has some talent as he also is making pirate skins for all of us

@godsdead Yessir that is exactly right. However he not only pointed it, he fired multiple times but luckily, to my knowledge, nobody got killed. Today may be a different story though, if he continues with this nonsense. I’ll work on uploading those vidoes right away.

That prize idea is fantastic, its the one thing we do struggle on is finding out what would be really attractive to players. Consolation prizes could be some kind of jokey prizes too maybe, ” i entered this competition and all i got was this louzy fish” haha.
Protecting the builds is the main priority, mainly for those that wish to visit and plus its your time to show it off without any griefing etc. I dont know how we wuld eb able to protect the players, i feel if i started doing that then the whoel server would take adavtage of it, saying dont kill me im buildoing for BOTM but really not. besides we are pirates afterall?
maybe if we could come up with a way of solving this issue? i also feel that it will restrict building plots if we did protect the players.
anythiung else to add to the rules would be amazing, i will get on to releasing these posts ASAP and get back on track.
