Okay, so I’m guessing I put this here since I still haven’t grasped the full forums and do not know where certain things go; however, this is a request, so I’m going with putting it under here.

(If this is not allowed please tell me and I’ll delete it. If it’s in the wrong category may a staff member please move it)

Okay, so today I was sieging like most normal players do on the server. I was planning on killing someone, but they Tped CallieMav in to help. Of course we fought and in the end Callie fled from battle to avoid dying.

“This just won’t do”

I said to myself. I wasn’t going to let someone start a fight with me and decide to run away last second. I wanted to finish my fight, and by finish, I wanted to kill Callie in game.

So, I watched the world map for Callie to return to the sight of the siege to where I encountered him. He was indeed flying, but in my point of view it’s just a staff member flying because they can have that perk for showing commitment. So, I attack him when he descends to the ground and eventually kill him.

Everyone starts freaking out in chat about it and among the chat Callie tells me he was in some admin mode or something along the lines of “Don’t kill someone in this mode” or whatever.

Well, for starters, it would be best if you could warn people you’re going into a mode, because people like me who don’t have a clue about what you’re doing when you’re flying will mistaken you for just another person to kill.

Second, What were you helping with that you were in this mode you shouldn’t be killed in? I watched as you just flew around and even walked around. The best you did was stand in a herd of cows under their base. So really, I don’t have a clue in the world what you were doing that I couldn’t kill you for it. Please explain.

Thirdly, after I killed you and you pleaded I’m not allowed to do so, you jailed me for a day. I thought to myself,

“Well, I guess if I did kill a staff member when they were in a mode they shouldn’t be killed in, I deserve this”.

I honestly thought I deserved it, and I was telling you in chat that I’m fine with this punishment, I was just glad we finished our fight. But right after that people start rumbling on in chat about me mute evading? “He’s using crew chat, lol”, “definitely crew chat”. I’m just sitting here like,

“Wait, you’re not suppose to be able to talk in chat?”

How would I have known that when myself and plenty other people were jailed and still could talk. They talked on and on. Lego and I even had a conversation in jail together.

But, my best guess is that’s not the reason why. I believe that after I told you I was okay with the punishment, you proceeded to say “Well how about this”. I had no idea what you were talking about, since that would be wrong of you to mute me in the first place because I broke no rules that would usually end in a mute. I didn’t make racial slurs, homophobic slurs, I didn’t curse, I didn’t make fun of anyone, yet I was apparently muted.

AND even after that people are constantly talking crap in chat about God knows what because I really could care less about remembering what they were saying.

Then, out of the blue…

I get banned for 7 days?!

A 7 day temp ban for apparently mute evading?! Are you serious?!

Legit, a mute evasion would last at least 4 hours or something like that. But 7 days?

This seems like a huge mistake, and not on my part.

I was just casually chatting with people while in jail, if getting jailed isn’t suppose to let you speak, then by all means please fix it so this incident doesn’t happen again and someone else gets temp banned.

And I mean no disrespect when I say this, but even if I was in crew chat when I was in jail (which I was not) there should be some command the server has to mute someone there as well. Just as you can be muted from /msg.

All in all, I’ll serve the 24 hour jail, and if you don’t want me to speak, then I won’t say a peep. But this 7 day temp ban was totally out of line.

Callie jailed me for killing him in this “no kill mode” so that should’ve been it. The 7 day temp ban was going too far for just a mistakable mute evasion that I had no clue I was doing.

I also just wanted to add that there should be a gamemode added in to prevent staff from being attacked when in this mode that we’re not allowed to attack them in. Because, like I said earlier, players like me who don’t know about it will only accuse them of another player to kill.

This is absolutely terrible treatment, I agree with you that the jailing should have been enough. but banned?! ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!! that’s just out of line, I hope you are unbanned. you didn’t do anything wrong.

This post that I posted on this post about something is probably useles information.............

Just my opinion not disrespecting staff: this is redicules! every time anyone gets jailed the chat in the main chat like it was nothing.and how come a guy that offens everyone and makes discusting comments about godsdead gets 2 days of banned (i’m talking about whozaka ik his a special case but still) and someone who killed staff while doing “staff things” got banned for 7?!…

also mute dosent work on crew chat (i found out when crazy got muted and he could talk in crew but then he had to leave becuase of it ).its really no harm mute is ment to give a lesson to the people but crew is kinda limiting also so you’re still loosing something.

and on a side note: nice story telling man ;-;

I was on at this time, and this is what I saw:

Callie got killed, why I don’t know, but it was by Suess.

Callie claimed he was “on duty” and thusly jailed Suess

Suess then said that he should’ve been notified about this, bearing in mind he had fought will Callie not long before.

Callie then muted Suess.

People in chat started claiming Suess was using Crew Chat, ad many of these people weren’t even in his crew.

Suess was banned, apparently for 7 days.

My opinion, though likely unwanted, is that while admins are working, they should be in Gamemode 1, to prevent this happening in the future. You should have warnings before being muted, and/or jailed, and that evading a mute should, by no means, result in a 7 day ban. Callie, I agree with your jailing, and to a certain degree, your muting. But a 7 day ban is unnecessary, in response to a player defending himself, for less than a few minutes, and chatting, when he wasn’t told not to.

@SeussSempai @MCMonkeyGMx @CrazyPirate1 Its all fine and dandy that you have your opinions from ONE side of a story, obviously since hes the one that wants something hes gogin to try and spin anything he can to get what he wants, This post is outrageous and the responses, Let me cut the paragraphs of crap to clear bullet points.

From what I can see.
- SeussSempai attacked a member of staff that is quickly trying to regenerate some land for a player, First of all this is bang out of order, if a staff member is helping a player, you don’t disrupt them.
- Staff temporarily jails you to get you out the way for obstructing staff doing a server job of tidying up the server, and causing problems. Ok end of the issue? Nope! SeussSempai then decides its a great idea to be rude and disrespectful, gets angry in chat, This right here is breaking point, you obviosuly dont respect a staff decision you have then proceeded to then be rude about it.
- What makes me furious is that you then made a forum post trying to make it look like a staff member was attempting to avoid getting his items taken in a fight.
- we don’t have ban appeals, Im not sure what kind of amateur servers you play on, we don’t follow suit for such bull, And being this obnoxious after you have been a pain in-game is just down right disrespectful.
Suck up your temp ban, If you continue to be a nuance to the server and disrupt the community’s playing then your punishment will be added to.

Im sick to death of these replies in these “request” posts, we DONT take punishment appeals, @MCMonkeyGMx @CrazyPirate1 you need to understand that this is a person that wants something, so they will “pose” their story to fit their own benefit, do not jump on the bandwagon and attack staff. Im absolutely sick of these posts.
