Topic: soft blocks
Hello,
I have had a small and simple idea for new players. On chat there is always new and current players asking if a block is “siege proof”. Could there be a /warp soft blocks (with no pvp) for new players who want to build safely?

I know this was not on piratecraft, HOWEVER This clearly shows him hacking. Witcher joined the server before this video was taken and continues to play, which means at one point he logged into piratecraft with a hacking client installed on his computer. The aimbot in this video is really obvious.

Hello Piratecraft
First of all Happy New Year!
I bet all of you guys had fun.. Yea for me it was not that much of fun lol… I am quitting for good this time partially due to the fact that someone from my trusted friends Kirigo, Willzo6789, Gildor or Charlee wiped my vault clean… I am not placing blame on any of them. Now most of the replies will be “you put them on the trustlist, Your fault”. Yes ik its my fault I just want the person to come clean…. I am begging him. There is nothing I can do to get my stuff back. I can just congratulate the guy on getting my stuff and becoming the new ‘Secondeath’ on the server. After 3 months with these guys I had come to trust them with everything …. I don’t know I just trust people very fast and start thinking they are the most trusted people in the world, But guess what ‘ I am the stupidest guy’ on the server. I hope the ‘Friend’ who got the stuff can just come clean with me as I was quitting the server due to my studies on the downside, my SAT coming up , college and more ( Life as most of us like to call it) . A big shoutout to CoV, haha you defeated me, outwitted me in every way but I still wont Bow down lol.. Pls remember me even if you hate me 🙂

Oh yeah I didn’t think about that part… @GodsDead Is it not possible for dispensers to unlock similarly to chests after someone has won siege? I do have designs for hidden dispensers but people will eventually know where the magical creepers/tnt is coming from and then its just a block glitch access away from being emptied of creeper eggs/tnt
No, you would need another plugin to protect them, and then somehow get GP to recognize and work with this third party plugin, whats the point? we would be better off just enabling all protection for all chests, dispensers and furnaces in all claims. What you are asking for is a full block locking system.

Can i be the first to just say if it comes back on or not, this was one of the most enjoyable events i have seen on a server yet!… my hats of (i really did just take it off) to godsdead and the rest of the team for bringing us this christmas event even through all the trouble. The part i liked the most was it sort of evened out the differences between the better and slightly not better players(see i didnt call anyone bad!) while you were at warp xmas, anyway thanks you all!!…

So basically these events would exist once a week and the prize would either be money or some item that is player obtainable/has been player obtainable or any items Godsdead allows. I mean even bedrock blocks would be cool and whatever as rewards.
PvP Event:
Rules: No illegal mods, no gapples & no teaming.
Large arena, without parkour or anything. 30 second window for players to enter (so 1 life each), and they fight until 1 is remaining. If gapples were allowed it would take way too long.
V2 PvP Event:
Rules: Same but only following items are allowed:
-Unenchanted Iron
-Crapples
-Plain Iron Axe
-Health Potions
-Speed potions.
If a player is caught breaking a rule they are /kicked and therefore lose their items and are unable to return to the arena.
You catch Gapplers or people who in the V2 case use illegal potions, by seeing their potion effects and what they do/don’t take damage to (eg when gapples they will take much less damage and won’t take fire damage).
You catch teasers by seeing who gang up on people, avoid each other and avoid each other.
Staff probably won’t be able to do the event as they will need to be watching the players.
Parkour Event:
Self explanatory. Rules are no teaming, glitch ing or illegal mods, you must enter without any items.
Skywars event:
Large area in the sky. Each island is 2 by 2 with 1 chest. There are 50 islands (player limit). Usual rules apply. There’s a mid at centre.
You get TP’d up once. If you fall or die before game starts because of your own stupidity you don’t get TP’d again.
PirateShip event:
Large ocean arena. Everyone brings their own ship. Teaming is allowed depending on size of ship. Once your caught in water you are kicked.
Hill event:
Usual rules apply. Everyone is given 5 bottles of some strong Alchol (Vodka, Tequila, etc). You get TP’d up a slope which is very thin and easy to fall off of. First one to the bottom wins
Other events can of course exist and the day they would be help on once a week or whatever (once a month etc) is when the server owner would find it easiest.
I couldn’t fine a community suggestions section so I posted it here.
Hope you guys like this suggestion.
