[Request] Make access to dispensers private

This has been a feature on the server that really annoys me and I was hoping we could make dispensers private somehow.

I use dispensers for a lot of redstone traps or defense systems and it annoys me that anyone can walk up to a dispenser or block glitch access a dispenser and just remove all of the tnt, arrows, and creeper eggs that I place inside.

Due to these reasons, I would like to request dispensers be made private access unless someone is /ct (container trust) to the claim. I’m not sure if this is possible with the GriefPrevention plugin but I’m hoping it is… Please tell me if it is not possible or if dispensers were made public access for a specific reason. Thank you!

Then people could just store items in them for a cheap impossible to break safe, this is silly and would harm the server more than you would get out of loosing a few arrows. can you not hide them? im sure you can create hidden dispencers

Oh yeah I didn’t think about that part…

@GodsDead Is it not possible for dispensers to unlock similarly to chests after someone has won siege?

I do have designs for hidden dispensers but people will eventually know where the magical creepers/tnt is coming from and then its just a block glitch access away from being emptied of creeper eggs/tnt

You could just make a warehouse of like 1000 of these as gods dead has said. Also this could be a huge form of transport between bases. Just claim a long hopper trail between two bases and if one gets assaulted and is in danger, just safely carry away your items.

We still have trash hanging out on the forums? That’s a shame. Oh yeah, so how are that Xenon client working out for you?

No, you would need another plugin to protect them, and then somehow get GP to recognize and work with this third party plugin, whats the point? we would be better off just enabling all protection for all chests, dispensers and furnaces in all claims. What you are asking for is a full block locking system.
