I remember the one time I attacked Hardtimez base with another member of my crew with Reptaria and her Elves and some other coalition forces.

We were getting hammered by broadside boat attack, whilst _Lego_ swam about with a white flag above his head, then some how the boat exploded.

Then I believe we were only attacked once, which you can still see as an explosion crater on Port AceMunch.

Can I just interject? I’ve been away for a lads week, and just want to clear up any drama, and explain my role in the whole thing. No big, 10,000 word dissertations, just trying to add some clarity and backstory.

As we all know, for some time, many members of Apple’s crew have been suspected of hacks. Sadly, its inevitable that some people do hack, and so the server responded accordingly, by raiding JuiceKings. Now, I’m not going to argue if this is justified, but it happened.

Many members of the BE also helped. If a friend tells you they are being overwhelmed by hackers, you help them. And so the BE, as authorised by senior officials online, aided our allies against those we suspected (with good reason) of using hacks. Its the decent thing to do.

Now, bislo comes back from 2 weeks away, and tells us Apple is off limits, and anyone caught attacking them will be stripped of all rank, and kicked from the BE. This sparks a lot of discussion in our government group, and it is revealed to us that Apple claimed to have evidence that would get some BE members a temp ban.

Many officials, myself included, came to the following conclusions. Firstly, that is blackmail, and we should respond aggressively, against such a ‘low blow’. Secondly, if such evidence truly exists, we should not protect those individuals; being part of the BE shouldn’t make someone above the rules, and as such, we believed that Apple should create a proper report, and we would support him.

Needless to say, such a report never materialized.

Regardless, bislo linked us to an imgur album, which showed a number of screens that supposedly showed how evil the BE was, etc, etc, etc.

So a little in depth reading later, and I was able to conclude the following (using google translate):

1) A member of Apple’s crew admitted to using hacks in /c

2) Apple saw this, and failed to report this. Rather, he had the audacity to include it in a folder he planned to blackmail the BE in. Karma, bitch.

3) Other crew members saw this, and failed to report.

4) Nobody told this guy off in /c

5) This guy wasn’t kicked from the crew

6) A crew member told him to keep the hacks hidden

7) This was also seen by Apple, who failed to report

8) This was also seen by other crew members, who, guess what, failed to report

9) Nobody told this guy off either

10) He’s also still in the crew

 

So what does this all tell us? That within Apple, there is a culture where hacks are readily accepted. If such an event were to occur within the BE, and I were to witness it, I would write up the report myself. It shows us Apple is aware members of his crew hacks, despite arguing repeatedly against this in the forums. It shows us that crew members don’t stand against hacking and cheats, but rather, encourage it and support it. It shows us that they are unwilling to follow server rules, and that everyone in that crew, online at the time, made a deliberate decision not to report a hacker, because they shared a little prefix before their gamer tag.

It shows us there are hackers in Apple, and that there are likely more, since this is clearly accepted. It shows us that blackmail is acceptable in the eyes of Applejk. It also provides the most potent example of pure karma ever, where he actually incriminates himself and his crewmates whilst attempting to blackmail the BE. It shows us that they are so confident, that indeed, he is so confident, he is willing to provide evidence of hacks in blackmail, assuming I couldn’t be arsed to translate it.

In short, it shows us a hell of a lot. If you’ve just skimmed down here, go up, and hopefully it might clear things up for you. But I for one, regardless of the official BE verdict, will hunt hackers regardless of crew, and will by extension hunt anyone who provides them with shelter and the means to do further harm.

Part of the problem is that applejk is the one and only leader. Which is a flaw on his part.

Im replying as people have tagged me in the post, first of all im not in the loop with the Apple crew, the only interactions I have had, are people reporting hackers in the group, so its always had a negative impact and so I have a bias opinion of the crew.

The facts I know (I haven’t read the 40 paragraphs of writing, I do not have the time to read everything yet, lets stick to simple facts)

1. I am not leading the moderation on this case, @dagersh has a far greater grip on the situation than me
2. I have had previous reports of multiple people from the Apple crew to be hackers
3. Multiple people have been banned in the past from the Apple crew for hacking
4. I have the entire chat history of the Apple crew, This can be made available for research into accusations into them talking about using hacks on the server, honestly at this point this just looks terrible.
5. Everything @MrClusterFluxin is spot on, read his post, I agree with all his points, Seriously Blu you are staff material with this mindset.
6. From the interactions I have had with @AppleJK (crew leader) AppleJK you seem to be a very active, strong member of the community, your posts on the forums for the maps and effort to be a large community member have not been un-noticed, You come across as someone that wants nothing but postativity with the server and progression. (I have not read your GIANT post yet)

I will be sitting on the sidelines for this, as @dagersh is taking the helm on this one, its not good to have conflicting moderator roles, I am only replying as people always want to bring me in and tag me in posts, I do read everything, sometimes its better I stay out of moderating (Especially if im not clued in with 100% facts)

At present there are 81 Members in the “Apple” Crew, this isn’t a small crew, please, again do read MrClusterFluxin post earlier on in the thread.

Hey guys, I’ve been following this and other posts in the ongoing forum war and have a neutral stance. I just want to point a few things out simply to help each side understand each other.

When leading a crew that has more than 5 members its not impossible to not know what they are all doing when you are not around. So when a crew has more than 50 members it becomes almost impossible to keep track of what everyone is up to even when you are on. Also people have different personalities, level of seriousness of gameplay, and their own personal agendas, which further complicates things.

In the forums there have been complaints of BE members doing unsanctioned actions. There have been complaints of Apple members doing unsanctioned actions. Both crews have a rather big member roster and very different styles of government. The BE has a big government with many PMs and officers while it sounds like Apple is run by AppleJK alone.

The point is things can and most certainly fall through the cracks just as it does in real life. In this case it was a group of friends with hacked clients slipping into Apple on AppleJK’s watch and a group of vigilantes slipping through on the BE’s watch.

The second thing and really an important on to keep in mind is the language issue. I live in a country that speak a different language than my native English, But a lot of my friends and colleges speak some English. Most of these people have been speaking English for 5 to 10 years some even more and there are many times when words or phrases get flipped around to mean the opposite of what they were trying to say. If I didn’t know to expect it, it would have been taken as rude, prideful, shaming, or any number of negative ways. While learning Arabic I see that the sentence structure is backwards to English so I can translate their English 🙂 along with language you have cultural differences which can be just as or even more problematic and easily misunderstood.  There’s no way to explain all that here as volumes of books have been written about the subject but I see these two things at play in this situation.

I have had interactions with almost all parties involved and from those interactions I would say they are all good people and I like them. I try to treat others with the respect and trust I wish to be treated with even after there has been an offense I will be kind just not so trusting. That is after I get my payback >;D.

I like AppleJk. He strikes me as a stand up guy. He contacted me in a pm on the forums after M4RT3S brought a group of Apple crew to my place seeking revenge for a raid my fellow crewmates did on them. He explained his position I explained mine it was nice and straight forward. I can respect that.

I have had good interactions with M4RT3S as well. His English does need to be translated 🙂 sometimes and he maybe a bit cocky but hey aren’t we all.

I also have had many good interactions with Shay, Galaxy, Crazy, River, Beng, Necro, Texter, and many of the other involved on the BE/rest of the server side.

I guess it’s the father in me that prompted me to write this. It makes me sad to see someone feel misunderstood or disliked especially kids (kids to me is anyone under 20) and I see it happening on both sides of this. I think about how my son feels when it happens to him. Its not cool and it breaks my heart.

The hackers have been dealt with which was the original offense. I believe that the vigilantes were dealt with by the BE but I’m not sure. Now what is happening is a mob mentality against Apple has been produced by inflammatory forum debates and all the he said she said from people on both sides. Proof or no proof right or wrong all of these extra allegations and feuding will serve no good in the end. So I would like to suggest putting this episode to rest and giving each other a clean slate. I would like to point out that the times I attacked you directly AppleJK. Were to get video evidence of your hackers. Also if I do recall our allies (GSG9) Were in a god fight and needed help.

You should have waited for CrazyPirate or another Minister to write the report, because your post has considerable inconsistencies.

What exactly have we done to the entire server? You talk about attacks, so it sounds like we have responded and led assaults towards the population of Piratecraft. Not only we didn’t attack neutrals, but we didn’t even assault you, the British Empire, because I asked for a dialogue for days while you invaded us without a declaration of war.

I have sent those screenshots to the Minister of Justice BGraph three weeks ago, so that Shay1515, “Salty_Shay” at the time, would have been educated and admonished by his superiors because of the following crime. He attacked us before Riverwood’s hacking forum posts about three individuals in our crew that got banned, so Shay’s was pure unjustified aggression, especially because of the ignorance shown in the screens about the British policy. Only yesterday I was definitely assured by the Prime Minister about him not attacking anymore, so there is no need to keep this case going. You, CaptainCrackerz, didn’t explain why I have sent the screenshots to the Ministers, so I felt the need to explain it myself for the sake of completeness.

Moving to the screenshots, here is the proper translation of the argued parts of the chat.

The investigation you led isn’t even complete. After the hints I got from the Prime Minister Bislo yesterday, I had to explore and study all the albums I have sent him during these days trying to find the answers of the British silent aggression. I have read then the entire chat, finding finally the brief conversation mentioned by CaptainCrackerz in this particular album. Also, the next screen has more material that you didn’t mention and that I will translate and post for the sake of completeness.

While Gabribandi could be considered guilty already in the part mentioned by CaptainCrackerz, Dragon_1624 is declarable guilty only in the part I added. The result is the same, both are going to be banned, so why stringing out? For the sake of completeness and to encourage greater professionalism in reports of this relevance.

 

Moving to the proper accusation, I’ll start with another quote from CaptainCrackerz.

I have sent the screenshots to the Minister of Justice so Shay1515 would be admonished of his fault to attack neutral individuals. My defense is that I have never noticed that brief conversation about hacking, nor the adult “joke” in the seventh image by cubecreeper0. Both things are of course offences first to themselves as human beings, and second to the people that accepted them in crew.

I am extremely careful and serious about the policy I lead with other groups of players. I have never allowed my men to harm anybody. I only push aggression against the ones who live in Piratecraft without values and attack us for bounty money or pleasure, which I consider highly regrettable. This is a “pvp server” as many say, but in real world “pvp” is enabled too, but we do not consider killing and aggression justifiable, right? Love for fight is not, in my opinion, a justification to do what you want. I have also refused all sorts of alliances, not because I am a war machine and I want to be able to attack everybody, but instead, it’s completely the opposite! When two nations agree to start an alliance, they do it in order to fight a common enemy. Without the common enemy, the alliance is just a way to keep a militarized state of a nation. An alliance pushes a pvp mentality because it implies you have always your blades ready, like if peace was an utopia and war was already written in destiny.

I am describing my way to live in Piratecraft because my defense bases on the circumstances and the rationally strange combination between my image and the accusations. Essentially, my being is my defense. Considering the seriousness and extremely high consistency I put in my role as captain of a crew, which I lead and will never change, unlike some no-home, no-family people who change crew every two weeks like a mercenary, the act of destroying my political choices with something external and empty like hacking is truly strange. Considering that my crew is strong and numerous, considering that we have rising, beautiful towns, considering that I have started a mission of updating a Map and a Timeline constantly, the connection between hacking is, again, surprising.

The screenshots were taken during an assault led by Necromon and Bengtsen, leaders of GSG9, a crew that seeks only it’s own profit. I was there with all my crew, armed, fighting the two. For some reason Salty_Shay arrived and started slicing my men. I didn’t even react, because I was disappointed and I knew perfectly he recently joined the British Empire and had no right to be there. When I suffer someone’s faul, I never lower myself by responding with the same action. Salty_Shay also called the old Solis in that big killing area, our town, as confirmed in the conversation I had in the screenshots with iKeto. Solis, Shay and GSG9 were all against us, which led to our complete defeat. Everybody lost it’s armor and we were all naked in our mesa town. I knew there was nothing to do apart waiting for them go while I talked with British officials. The crew chat, which is usually a mess, became in that moment pure spam. People asking something, saying something, screaming for help, shouting to attack. Again, pure spam. I wasn’t considering my crewmates at all. We were all defeated unfairly because of Shay being there, so the only thing I needed was making him spit out why he was there, because I knew perfectly that he was wrong and I knew perfectly that I would have taken screenshots and reported him to the British Government. The fact that I missed the illegal conversation is surprising from an external eye but we had never had such issues before that day, I was uncounsciously taking for granted that my crew chat was full of spam, which is quite usual.

Also, consider this view. Me, a man who, whitout knowing anybody in the server, has gathered a list of almost all the towns of Piratecraft, with reference, links to original old threads and map, such meticulousness, such attention, do you think that if hacking was an allowed topic in my crew chat, I would suddenly became so disorganized to not check five times the screenshots before sending them to the British Ministers? I didn’t miss one screenshot. I missed three illegal screenshots. I was taking for granted that my crew chat was normal, I had no reason to check it. The only thing I was caring about was to send the screenshots where Salty_Shay was showing his ignorance about the British policy and iKeto confirming that Shay was wrong.

Other thing to notice: cubecreeper0, the hacker who got banned three days after, had arrived into my crew with some of his real-world friends only two days before the moment when I took the screenshots. They lasted five days with us. I don’t know if there is a tool to see when did somebody join and leave a crew. When cubecreeper0 was banned, his real-life friends stayed for a day and then left forever too because probably they wanted to stay together. I am waiting to reach 100 members and then make a complete cleaning of the inactive members. If I haven’t kicked Gabribandi7, it is because I have never noticed that conversation and he left after cubecreeper0’s ban, so he had no more occasion to reveal us again his use of hacking. After Riverwood’s posts we all thought that all the hackers were gone, cubecreeper0’s friends left and so we came back to normal political life again. I asked now my crewmates why nobody noticed Gabribandi7 confessing that at the time and didn’t report him to me afterwards. Some that remember that, say they thought he was joking and forgot about him when all the hackers were banned.

Regarding Dragon_1624, he always seemed to be a kid. He doesn’t join often, but when he does, he only digs materials and stays humble. Maybe he was trying to gain Gabribandi’s sympathy? I have kicked him out today, if he wishes to defend himself, he will do it separately.

Here is a video of those events. I had to find recovery softwares because I didn’t have the avi files anymore. You can see how the chat runs fast. I get killed previously by Necromon or Bengtsen and lose my full enchanted diamond armor. Salty_Shay kills me then, which disappointed me to extreme levels, but I had the ability to record him, so I was all focused on the green names, on Salty_Shay and then iKeto in order to gain the proof needed, thinking of what could have been some good questions to get a confession. I wasn’t saying a word in my crew chat because I had no interest for it. Afterwards I took screenshots from the video instead of editing, rendering and uploading the whole video on a new youtube account.

Leaders? I am the only captain in my crew and the only one who makes decisions. The crewmates are all on the same level and they can do only what I allow them to do unless they hide it to me. CrazyPirate started asking about our rank structure to one of my crewmates, so you should know.
You are accusating M4rt3s of lying without a single screenshot. You are throwing mud on him without proof, it is just an offense. You are adding stuff in the pot. In “Tonight’s current events between SPQR and BE” the British Empire has complained about lack of proof to some accusations against them. Then stay consistent to your statement and provide proof to each word you say.

I have heard there have been already some bans in my crew regarding insults recently, which of course are a reason to punish somebody. I ask you to stick to these facts, screenshotted, and to not add voices without proof.

 

My accusation against the British Empire.

Being the British Empire an organized crew, it was extremely sursprising to see mass assaults from them in our towns during these days, having I kept a constant, right, in my opinion, political line. I was never told why they were there. I asked several times in private chat the reason of them violating my land, because the Prime Minister wasn’t active at the time. The british citizens made fun of me by answering with the same, useless letters: “idk”, “k”, “why not”. You spit on the impeccable level of politeness, respect, good manners that I have always had. I never lose patience, I always talk professionally and rationally. I had no idea for a week why were you attacking my crew. “Supposing” that I was aware of the conversation in the screenshots is not enough to lead military aggression. Not responding and /ignoring me looked like your inner Mr. Hyde took over your souls, I was truly confused and sad, because there was hate against me. I was sure there was a reason for it, I don’t think you suddenly became crazy from one day to another. I asked for it, but nobody ever explained me until yesterday when the Prime Minister Bislo gave me some hints in a private site message that pushed me to look at my all my screenshot albums. I could have made a forum post first a week ago but I know that a lot of drama would have come up. I had nothing to hide and I felt on the right side. If I didn’t make a forum thread first it is not because I had stains in my soul to avoid and cover, but because I showed my respect towards the British Empire even after they offended me. The mission itself of the British Empire is noble. According to their wiki page:

It means respect for the peaceful and neutral nations of this server, love for peace, refusal to take in players who once were enemies, be the “big brother” of little crews. This role has been chosen by the British Empire in his birth and there isn’t another crew that claims to have the courage to handle such responsibility. Criticizing the British stains in public does not lead to a better world. In order to claim that the Empire should be removed, you should at least have a new crew to propose for that role or at least some sort of new solution. I do not have the solution, so I prefer to not damage the British Empire image so I don’t create sad, psychological cracks in those who believed in its role. The mission of the BE must live. I do not know how the situation is going in the rest of the Piratecraft world but I noticed several mistakes that I had to suffer because of them in the last two months. Unjustified attacks, ignoring, absense of diplomacy. It started way before this crisis but it escalated until it reached now untolerable levels, even for me. A lot of british people shown in the screenshot albums participated in the massacre of my crew without an official reason and declaration before this post. I ordered my men to not lead attacks against the British Empire even after all this chaos. “Hacking” is not part of the game and must be handled by the administrators. There haven’t been a decision yet from them and even if there will be one, you still attacked me for days like if you were the hacking police, while you are not. You, british citizens, didn’t tell me anything. You didn’t ask for my thoughts. You just attacked, so now I ask you: where is your “international stability” if you attack before talking? I talked about this and all the previous issues I had with the Empire in private, I underline, in private, so nobody else would have known about your faults apart me and the Ministers. These days you covered me with so much mud that I could no longer keep my professional silence and here I am posting what you did.

I was not aware of Gabribandi7 hacking because I have never noticed him revealing it. He quit forever shortly after and I haven’t had new occasion to see he was hacking.

This is a consequence of me and my crewmates leaving the friends of cubecreeper0 to the past after Riverwood’s forum posts.

 

This is what I adfirm is the truth even though there is no evidence to support my words.

 

I am a private person so I have met only few of the population of Piratecraft, I could say I met the most similar ones to me. Virtual friendship doesn’t amuse me, I only seek exchange of thoughts and political views regarding Piratecraft so it doesn’t surprise me I have zero cover now. I take this mud with calm, quiet soul, I respond with what I adfirm is right.  The people that have talked with me will decide, interiorly, if I am the Apple they have met or the biggest hypocrite of the world. My crew is open, I welcome all sorts of people but I always lead in the same way, with the same values. It’s the first server I play in and it is the first time I have to study hacking in order to identify it. Sometimes I suspect tricks from impolite kids that do not care much about having one home, one spirit, one flag, one list of inner laws. They usually last few days, not everybody understand my extremized concepts and way to exist in this server. They probably wanted “to have fun” while I put much more seriousnees in the Piratecraft scenario. Infact we have only 30 members active in a total of 80. Sometimes I don’t expect people to turn out to be wrong, like the case of Dragon_1624. I am sorry that hackers have been found right in my crew but I showed all the approval I could show at the time for their ban. I can say my crew is fine now, some of the settlements they are building are ugly, some are rising very nicely. I have put my private time in this server forum and game for three months since may, maybe even too much for a game. Mostly it was time spent out of Minecraft. Some people talk in the forum in order to get results in the server. I play in the server to get results in the forum. The administrators can leave the spotlight on us forever. What I do not accept is all this lack of respect that you, normal players, are showing towards me and whoever did nothing unkind. My men do not say “Welcome back” to whoever joins, they do not spam alliance requests, they do not use smileys and hearties, but they don’t do anything bad too.

If you believe this is false and you have something to say, show me proof. If you have only suspects and theories against some individuals, send information and thoughts with a private message so you don’t spread unpleasant voices that could turn out to be false.
CaptainCrackerz post shows an accusation but it doesn’t say what exactly do you want now.
If you want me to retire you better tell me immediately because I have no intention to keep spending my time for the server anymore if I get spat on this way.

I am not talking about him. You claim to have translated a chat from M4rt3s, but I am asking you: what chat? Where are the screenshots? You should avoid spreading voices without posting proof.
Regarding the hackers. The three you are talking about were cubecreeper0, FalcEagle and FireBrother. They were found and banned the day when they used them. They are not part of this thread. This post is asking why there is a mention about hacking by one, and only one individual in my screenshots, Gabribandi7 and why nobody cared about him and the guy who answered him.
