When I first joined the server I wanted to know if Piratecraft wars implied something more than usual pvp hunting and made this post. Maybe it could give you some answers on their mechanics.

How do wars work?

Historically speaking.

In 2014, when the player base was very low, the onlyexisting rivalry was between New Providence and The Batavuan Empire, two ancient crews that do not exist anymore.

The first conflicts that can be called war happened in 2015, when Elven Empire and British Empire were both already founded respectively by queen Reptaria and CrazyPirate1. Because of argued issues tension started and war raged until peace was found. An epic ancient battle to remember is the assault of Evermoor, glorious elven city on the eastern side of the “classic word”. Here you can find much more details.

Other interesting to know skirmishes happened between these two empires and small warrior crews such as The Milker Bandits. Other wars were led against the group Hawatis and Unic0rnjunk101’s TUPE.

The British Empire had also to deal with rebels at the time and the anger of a previous member of the Order of the Protectors of Bislo’s Port Hope, BensterPC, who was the ruler of the island Havanna and the crew Pirate Legion.

Now we get to the most crucial part in the Piratecraft history. Two individuals, HardTimez and Karimnaba had founded between march and april those who will be remembered as the most incredible and glorious pirate crews of all time: 0utlaws and Lotus. I personally call them legendary and unique, but careful, they were all harassers and hackers. Unic0rnjunk101 was one of the peaks of the golden age of piracy here. Meanwhile the Ottoman Empire was started by _Lego_, another famous individuality.

Lego, Hardtimez and Unic0rnjunk101 had always ruined the Elven Balls by transforming them in a blood bath. If I am not mistaken, only the last ball held in may was safe and joyful.

The 0utlaws were an enemy for the entire server and in order to be fought the nations of the server created the Allied, an organization later called League of Nations. It included at the time Elven Empire, British Empire and will gradually add crews like Iborian Empire, Xenon Empire, Thirteen Colonies. War against the 0utlaws was won when Hardtimez was banned for hacking the 30th of june 2015. The rest of the 0utlaws lasted a little bit but fell too. Some joined Lotus, but it lasted only august 2015 and Karimnaba was later banned for harassment.

In september 2015 we have again a conflict between empires. For argued reasons tension was started between Xenon Empire and Verussian Empire, both inhabitants of the Verussian continent. War was started for the control of the land. Xenon received help from British Empire, Elven Empire and Thirteen Colonies. The Iborian Empire remained neutral due to a healthy friendship with the verussians. War was won by the Xenon side, which gained more land in the continent. A battle to remember is the attack om Canada. Xenon then joined the League of Nations while Verussia founded the Federated Nations with The New Roman Republic and The Entarian Alliance. In november 2015 the Crusaders of the Void crew was started. It included the most skilled land raiders of that time. They soon started raids, sieges and assaults towards pretty much everybody if I am not mistaken.

In february 2016 there was another tension between Xenon and Verussia. Xenon wanted more land even though the end of the first war was signed and Verussians had their reasons to pressure too. Lots of spy accusations between the LoN and FN organizations. Assumed mass destruction superweapons. War was started again. Remarkable facts are the Xenon Tower, which bombarded the verussian capitol Pallivadia and the Wither that was guarding the bunker where the verussians hold their last resistance. The resulting beacon now stands on the XE – VE border. The League of Nations side won and Xenon gained half of the continent.

In may 2016 a war was declared against the Crusaders of the Void by a big coalition. The Crusaders of the Void disbanded (their crew still exists practically but there is nobody active).

A super speed war was held between the Elven Empire and the French Empire in July 2016. It lasted two hours, and EE won. The French Empire disbanded.

War was declared by the British Empire against the Heart Pirates in july 2016. Heart Pirates seem to have disappeared.

Present time.

Consider that I wrote this on my phone because I do not have a pc these weeks. Also, most importantly, I started my proper adventure here in may 2016, so I didn’t have the luck to see most of these events.

This is a sum up. I could get in detail, but it would take incredibly long and there are very good narrations on the wiki already. Interview people because not always wikis point of view will be enough to set a right and complete view on a certain event.

The Piratecraft Timeline

@applejk I must say, you did a great job with the post above, considering you were not around at the time of both VE wars. Really good job man!

Some information on the wiki is either slightly wrong, or missing completely. Ill try to add this information to the wiki a little later, to make sure people don’t get too confused. Ill share what I know.

Here are a few corrections to apples post, plus some more detail:

~ Firstly, the May 2015 Elven ball was held at my port, back then the capital of the Ottoman Empire. Lego and Reptaria were the main organizers of the ball. It was Hardtimez and the Outlaws who turned it into a bloodbath, not Lego 😛

~ Secondly, the First Verussian War occurred due to several events:

I founded the Xenon Empire (XE) in mid August, after the fall of the Ottoman Empire. I lived on a quiet island continent, more or less by myself, claiming half of it as XE land. In early September, the Verussian Empire (VE) moved to the continent, claiming all of it for themselves as ‘the Verussian Continent’. They were adamant to turn my port and crew into a ‘state of Verussia’, threatening with military action if I did not cooperate. They eventually agreed to give me a small section of the continent for XE. For now, the issue was resolved, but XE were eager to get back the land they once owned, as they were running out of room.

Alongside of the above happening, the Verussian Empire (back then a member of the League of Nations), was being accused of betraying the League of Nations (LoN). I don’t know the details, but the VE were kicked from the LoN. XE on the other hand, was allowed to join the LoN now.

Each side insulted the other, tensions grew, and war was inevitable. The LoN wanted a sort of ‘revenge’ for VE betraying them (I don’t know the details). The Verussian Empire declared war on the League of nations (BE, EE, 13co, XE. IE remained neutral).

VE surrendered after a week or so, XE gained back a bit more land, and most of the LoN felt the debt had been paid.

~ The Second Verussian War occurred more or less how Apple described it:

After the first war, all nations started rebuilding, and sorting out new alliances. The VE, New Roman Republic (NRR), and Entarian Alliance (EA), formed a new alliance group called the Federated Nations Alliance (FNA); forming their own ‘LoN’ of sorts.

The LoN group on the forums still had many old and inactive players in it. Some of whom were now in the FNA. A few LoN members tried joining the FNA, to try and ‘keep an eye’ on the FNA and its actions. <span style=”line-height: 1.5;”>The XE joined the FNA to improve diplomatic relations with the VE and gain more allies. Not for espionage.</span>

The LoN caught wind of a ‘super weapon’ that the FNA were planning to build. EE and XE started planning their own ‘super weapon’ of sorts. The FNA had also a few spies of their own in the LoN, and they found out about the Elves’ planned bio weapon (or something like that).

But the FNA eventually found out about the espionage that was going on in their group. All spies were kicked from the group, including the XE. <span style=”line-height: 1.5;”>Tensions flared up again as they had done before the first war. Each side accusing the other of ‘starting it’. </span>

The BE and 13co in the meantime were still sceptical about the VE, despite the last war. They were not fond of ToxicKingRS’ leadership of the VE, and wanted to remove him from his seat of power in the VE.

The XE were fine with the VE leadership of the time. I soon finished planning the ‘Xenon Tower’, my 256m-tall answer to FNA’s plans of a super weapon. I started building it on the XE-VE border in the bay between our empires. Understandably the VE were extremely annoyed with this tower looking over their capital, boasting cannons and mortars, and reaching to block height.

After failed attempts to negotiate terms of peace between the FNA (primarily VE), and LoN (primarily XE, BE and 13co), war was declared again. The Elves and IE wanted to remain neutral as they had other problems.

After a barrage of cannon fire and lots of death, VE surrendered to XE, and then BE and 13co. KingRS resigned, and WilsonManzer took his place, turning the Verussian Empire into the Verussian Republic.

That is a pretty detailed summary of what started the two wars. I could go into more detail, but I would still be typing tomorrow.

As Apple said, if you want more information, ask people. The wiki can be a bit vague as people forget to update it. But the forums are also full of various posts relating to this.

I want to correct both of you regarding the May 2015 Elven ball. 😛 I distinctly remember it being Unicornjunk and TUPE interrupting the proceedings, not 0utlaws. Those two groups were never allies with each other. When I say remember, I mean I was too busy to attend myself and joined the next day when it was the talk of the day. :3

Edit: OP, is that you, Captain Blue? Weren’t you last online last summer? I remember Port Blue which belonged to you. 😀

@AppleJK whenever i refer to CoV as disbanded everyone gets salty, even though that’s the general consensus of the server, just prepping you for whats coming.

@Applejk @Paulonfire Essentially i got teleported in i teleported little liggo in we killed everyone like 40 people in 12 seconds

After everyone comes back and it starts to party again Hardtimez showed up and i fought him with little liggo and killed him in the jungle EZ. i go back to the ball and kill everyone again (HA) and hardtimez showed up fought him again (he didnt kill anyone) and he ran away  into the jungle

and for the record tupes older then BE and EE 😛

Earliest wars goes back to my Sailor days when i declared war on port royal (Adbzy) which ended with all there ships sunk and the surrender came within an hour.

there were constant Wars with athenmos (after hattawis)  -i stole his botm ship 3 times till he finally finished it hehe-

oh i had a big coupe in my empire which ended up me and wkeresey (tupe) vs rebels which resulted in a 1 month war inwhich tupe defeats the rebels firecore was the rebel leader errrm yeah just alot of killing 😀
