    there HAS to be an air block ater the button or on top of the pressure plate for a cannon or mortar (respectfully) to fire.

    @cysteen , Thank you for saying that, I’ve been thinking for months about how to fire a projectile whilst still submerged and you saying that will certainly get me to test it.

    ._. well alrighty then. the other half of it is, while maybe you can theoretically fire a cannon/mortar projectile underwater with my solution above, whether it travels through the water to hit it’s target is a different story. usually ive seen the projectile as soon as it makes contact with water it just starts to sink. kinda anticlimactic. especially since it sinks slowly.

    That sounds sort of depressing, if we could find a way perhaps to get the projectile to move faster? I’m not sure, but I was also thinking the projectile just disappeared on contact with water, rather than staying intact and sinking

    I’ll have to look into this, wouldn’t mind sharing also what I may find here, currently right now I’m going to become a bit of a floater on the server, probably moving from crew to crew, as the TXO has stagnated whilst I was gone, probably what encouraged Max to leave it. Anyway, I look forward to this 🙂

    Cannons don’t work underwater, if they could then that would be great. I’m also gonna make another Post on the forum about another Craft I had in mind that “Hopefully” You would take a look at

    Governor in Rome.

    ok i dont wana get too into this but stap with this thing already if we buff the projectile the ik someone will complain that its too op so then they will either debuff it or buff the armour for it then we just have this continous loop of slowly better projectiles and armour and as my first post showed there was lots of armor on the ships and big cannons
