tbh, whether it has your face on it or not, that does not cover up the fact that it is still a super massive box right next to the world spawn and near the center of the map. id say it does have an effect on others because it’s just simply a huge eyesore. theres literally nothing you can do to a box that size to make it blend with its surroundings. just building pixel art is like putting a bandaid on a wound that needs stitches. wont cover up the problem, nor fix it, or make it any better than it was before really.

Is Melon’s box beautiful? No.

Do we need to be fair and impartial? Yes.

If you request to move/regen his, then anyone with a box should also be subject to the same outcome. This means Hydra, SmokinSoldier, etc. Where do you draw the line on what is or isn’t acceptable? This is extremely subjective and honestly doesn’t effect anyone here. I am the closest resident to the box and I could care less.

Since its a box its easy go select the region and enter the regen command.

Thank you for your input in regard to my post. Apparently you’re unable to understand it so I will clarify. I do not care about the box’s placement or the fact that it is a box. I do care about my neighbor, as we have a great relationship regarding trade and security. I am tired of the whining and complaining. People are going out of their way to get this moved/regen’d, yet they haven’t done anything about the people I previously mentioned. Godsy’s word is law and I respect his decisions, but other players going out of their way to target Melon is asinine and childish.

Now, if you still need further clarification please let me know.

Since I dont know you and you dont know me neither, I wonder who gives you the right to state out such things with literally no background information at all.

This topic is about a specific building rule that has been declared by the server owner and not about what you feel or about your relationship with someone. You are not even mentionned in the report.

Romich points out if someone is breaking these rules and I for my part value his inputs. Cysteen has regularly raised concerns about peoples behaviour. I also value her observations and the appropriate actions taken by the staff.

Your saying about people behaving childish and asinine is ironic. I had a good laugh there.

You’re right, you don’t know me and I don’t know you. Just because you do not agree with me does not make my statement any less of value. Yet, for some reason, you feel the need to make this conversation about your feelings towards me. I find that odd.

You have clearly missed the point where I said that we need to be fair and impartial when deciding who’s box violates rules and who’s doesn’t. Again, you failed to realize the bigger picture here. This isn’t just about Melon’s box, it’s about people getting offended over his but no one else’s. Or do you not care because it doesn’t align with your views? That’s rhetorical.

This isn’t about you and I, Pashjn, this is about what rules are enforced and when they are/aren’t.

@GodsDead Can we look at moving/reveling smokinsoldier’s box and Hydra’s box as well?

I read my own text several times and cannot find a single hint where I would have talked about my feeling towards you or anyone else.

Melon and SJ built this box clearly after the rule has been announced and SJ for example knew very well about this rule. You are talking about boxes that have been there for years. Know the difference.

I would really appreciate if you could rather write rational instead of emotional. I am not the one who started to write about his feelings and relationsips here in public. I dont see anyone on here that is offended but you.

I mean some boxes have a good chance of actually looking alright when given enough time – specifically SJ’s. The box you built isn’t exactly small… or near a mountain such that you could blend it in… its literally the biggest box on the server sitting in an area of high activity, in the middle of the ocean. You can polish a shit all you like, its still gonna be a smelly ol’ shit at the end of the day :/

I wasn’t planning to build into a mountain >_<. That wouldn’t really work xD. I was planning to find any design that would look nice and build over it. I see what you mean by it being massive and ugly, but you can still make a large box look nice.
