Let’s just give this some context shall we? As you will have noticed, he edited his post. Here’s what he initially wrote:

4. Stuff posted on the internet will never go away, true enough. At least not the foreseeable future. I knew that when I posted what I did. Do I regret it? Not one bit.
The community were aware of your appeal. I spoke to many of them about it. Not one of them wanted you back… And… Well… I doubt GodsDead will either.

I cannot get rid of your account, so I shall leave this open for someone who can. If you choose to respond, I look forward to it 😀

Unban Appeal:

Before I say anything more, I would like to publically apologize to the PirateCraft community. I would like to apologize for my rude comments, foul language, and constant spamming that I did on that day and all days before. I would especially like to apologize to Turkeyman11a, Silverstone47, AstroBolt, and Wemb. I am truly sorry for disrespecting you all and the rest of the server. At the time I was upset with personal things going on in my life and I believe that my anger and frustration transferred onto this server as well. This as many of you know has happened before in the past. If you go to my punishment checker @ https://piratemc.com/punishments/ , you will see that I have been banned for similar occurrences. All I am asking is if the PirateCraft staff could even lessen my ban to a temporary ban, I would be willing to accept even a several month ban. If you all could give me one more chance, I would be very happy and I promise that I will NOT do any of this childish stuff in the future. I’m assuming that Astrobolt and Silverstone47 did not screenshot the messages and I failed to do so myself, but soon after this tantrum of mine, I did apologize to both of them. I am willing to reason with the staff and form some type of deal so that I can come back to this wonderful server. I have been a long time member and has always loved this one of a kind server from the bottom of my heart. I have voted for it many times and I have always wanted to donate to it, but I never was allowed to, but I’m sorry that I could not. So all in all, if you, the PirateCraft community, could just let me have one more chance at this amazing server, I promise you that I will not screw up again and cause problems with anyone on it. Thank you for reading through this, I will try and respond to any comments to this appeal. Once again I apologize for everything.

So really, I am sincerly sorry to you and everyone else, but please do not be a hypocrite when it comes to saying that I have been muted and kicked many times and because of that, I should not get a ban appeal. At a time, you were in this situation too.

Hey guys, From now on I will not do any claim removals or regen requests in game. All requests must be posted in the proper thread or it will not be taken care of.

Request to remove claims

Since becoming an admin I have tried to be as helpful as possible when im in game, not only find the hacks and cheats but to do things like check out old claims people wanted removed, land that people wanted regened, and other server maintenance.

Once word got out that I would come check out claims I began to get at anywhere from 1 to 5+ requests to remove a claim every time i logged in. I didnt mind checking these claims out and seeing if they met the requirements for removal.

Most were no problem like noob chest claims or small claims (under 2000 blocks) with not much on them or under them and no loot etc.. that were abandoned for a year or more. Most requests were made by someone that was building or expanding their home/base/town and ran into a claim that blocked them.

Then there were the other requests from folks just wanting take advantage of my helpfulness to take over a base or get some loot. These folks were not building in the area and just finding old claims and hoping I would just unclaim them so they could raid the place. I caught on to most of those requests and denied them.

The problem that taking requests in game causes is that there is no easy way to access a record of the event or the conversation in case of a dispute months after. Unless a specific date of the event can be given so we could go straight to the log, its pretty much gone. Just one day of the console log can have tens of thousands of lines to search through so trying to find one event in several months of logs is like finding a needle in a haystack without at least a date to work with. Such as the most recent dispute the_network brought up.

So to keep things as transparent as possible there needs to be some sort of record of the request and and its conclusion.

This is the way Godsdead had intended it to work from the beginning so when a dispute arises theres a written account with all parties involved and thats how he had written the original claim removal request forum post.

I was irresponsible in not adhering to the ‘no requests in game’ rule and for that I am sorry to both you the players and Godsdead.

This would be a problem with our anticheat plugin. We’re still trying to find a solution as to why it is so buggy, but we havent found one just yet. Try to record to situation that caused the glitching in the water and submit it as a report here on the forums. GodsDead can then forward those videos to the developers of the plugin to hopefully find a fix to the glitchiness.

In the video Dpex was kind enough to provide, you quite clearly make a demand at 1:48 –

The fact you’re making that demand in a conversation about you claiming too close to their base basically says everything anyone needs to know. I’d also like to direct your attention to rule 5:

Claiming land can’t be used as a tool or weapon against someone else. Do not claim land to siege a player.

That you’re making demands suggests you’re using the claim as a weapon, which suggests you’re breaking rule 5. A more detailed set of rules is available at https://wiki.piratemc.com/Rules, and if you read rule 5 here, you are again breaking it.

My suggestion is voluntarily remove the sethome and claim, or else senior staff may have to take action if they deem it necessary.
