@applejk I must say, you did a great job with the post above, considering you were not around at the time of both VE wars. Really good job man!

Some information on the wiki is either slightly wrong, or missing completely. Ill try to add this information to the wiki a little later, to make sure people don’t get too confused. Ill share what I know.

Here are a few corrections to apples post, plus some more detail:

~ Firstly, the May 2015 Elven ball was held at my port, back then the capital of the Ottoman Empire. Lego and Reptaria were the main organizers of the ball. It was Hardtimez and the Outlaws who turned it into a bloodbath, not Lego 😛

~ Secondly, the First Verussian War occurred due to several events:

I founded the Xenon Empire (XE) in mid August, after the fall of the Ottoman Empire. I lived on a quiet island continent, more or less by myself, claiming half of it as XE land. In early September, the Verussian Empire (VE) moved to the continent, claiming all of it for themselves as ‘the Verussian Continent’. They were adamant to turn my port and crew into a ‘state of Verussia’, threatening with military action if I did not cooperate. They eventually agreed to give me a small section of the continent for XE. For now, the issue was resolved, but XE were eager to get back the land they once owned, as they were running out of room.

Alongside of the above happening, the Verussian Empire (back then a member of the League of Nations), was being accused of betraying the League of Nations (LoN). I don’t know the details, but the VE were kicked from the LoN. XE on the other hand, was allowed to join the LoN now.

Each side insulted the other, tensions grew, and war was inevitable. The LoN wanted a sort of ‘revenge’ for VE betraying them (I don’t know the details). The Verussian Empire declared war on the League of nations (BE, EE, 13co, XE. IE remained neutral).

VE surrendered after a week or so, XE gained back a bit more land, and most of the LoN felt the debt had been paid.

~ The Second Verussian War occurred more or less how Apple described it:

After the first war, all nations started rebuilding, and sorting out new alliances. The VE, New Roman Republic (NRR), and Entarian Alliance (EA), formed a new alliance group called the Federated Nations Alliance (FNA); forming their own ‘LoN’ of sorts.

The LoN group on the forums still had many old and inactive players in it. Some of whom were now in the FNA. A few LoN members tried joining the FNA, to try and ‘keep an eye’ on the FNA and its actions. <span style=”line-height: 1.5;”>The XE joined the FNA to improve diplomatic relations with the VE and gain more allies. Not for espionage.</span>

The LoN caught wind of a ‘super weapon’ that the FNA were planning to build. EE and XE started planning their own ‘super weapon’ of sorts. The FNA had also a few spies of their own in the LoN, and they found out about the Elves’ planned bio weapon (or something like that).

But the FNA eventually found out about the espionage that was going on in their group. All spies were kicked from the group, including the XE. <span style=”line-height: 1.5;”>Tensions flared up again as they had done before the first war. Each side accusing the other of ‘starting it’. </span>

The BE and 13co in the meantime were still sceptical about the VE, despite the last war. They were not fond of ToxicKingRS’ leadership of the VE, and wanted to remove him from his seat of power in the VE.

The XE were fine with the VE leadership of the time. I soon finished planning the ‘Xenon Tower’, my 256m-tall answer to FNA’s plans of a super weapon. I started building it on the XE-VE border in the bay between our empires. Understandably the VE were extremely annoyed with this tower looking over their capital, boasting cannons and mortars, and reaching to block height.

After failed attempts to negotiate terms of peace between the FNA (primarily VE), and LoN (primarily XE, BE and 13co), war was declared again. The Elves and IE wanted to remain neutral as they had other problems.

After a barrage of cannon fire and lots of death, VE surrendered to XE, and then BE and 13co. KingRS resigned, and WilsonManzer took his place, turning the Verussian Empire into the Verussian Republic.

That is a pretty detailed summary of what started the two wars. I could go into more detail, but I would still be typing tomorrow.

As Apple said, if you want more information, ask people. The wiki can be a bit vague as people forget to update it. But the forums are also full of various posts relating to this.

Let me clear up on what I was reading: The British Empire attacks _Maiz_ for being “annoying”. In return, The SPQR (VRE and NEE) recruits the annoying players, angering the British. The BE attacks SPQR and it angers members of the SPQR.

Now, please correct me if I have missed anything.

This post is USELESS when it comes to the logic on this “Pirate Server”. It’s called Piratecraft in a reason. People being butt hurt over a damn attack with a big misunderstanding. The BE attacks SPQR for recruiting enemies of the British.

I never knew we were allies? /crew profile says nothing. The Brotish Empire wiki says nothing about being allied with SPQR. So with that quote you are WRONG, ToxicKingRS.

OK, so, I don’t know much about other crews politics, but I can give you a run down of all the major empires and the LoN and FNA. So, right now the oldest empires that are still standing on the server are the British Empire (BE) whose current leader I am not sure, as I think they had an election, but it was started by CrazyPirate, Elven Empire (EE) which is a clan system, so there are lots of leaders, and the recently disbanded Verrussian Empire (VE) lead by wilsonmanzer and toxickingrs. PvP crews include Crusaders of the Void (CoV), Solis, and Creed (I believe). Other large crews include the 13 Colonies (13C), United States Empire (USE), and, while I don’t think we’re that big, the New Roman Republic (Known as SPQR in /crew list). While LoN and FNA are very similar, the LoN tends to have more military strong crews within it, the reason there were some rough waters a while back is we had a little trouble with spies, but since then we’ve put that behind us and made a sort of joint group. OfficialRS or now referred to as ToxicKingRS grew up on an island apart of  an  archipelago called Meriyenerah. It was known to the local indigenous people as a new nation controlled by the Polynesian Empire. The dream of a nation for the Polynesian people soon crumbled after the late capital city; South Verussi was submerged into a gruesome war with the infamous pirate crew, 0utlaws. The war brought the people’s first sight of cannons and desolated whatever hope they had in gaining statehood.

But then the newly formed government consisting of the current leaders ToxicKingRS and WilsonManzer signed a declaration forming their empire instead of a nation. This empire was the Verussian Empire or VE.

Howeve, the little territories that they controlled were littered with explosives and holes digging miles from the surface caused by artillery fire. So their king set off on a voyage to conquer new lands, and soon discovered ‘North Verussi’ east of port Lacomus controlled by the British Empire.

Progress on the island was swift and within weeks the new island settlers had built houses and farms and the population was ever growing -until the island was transformed into a scene of a massacre. Beliving that the settlers had stolen goods from them, The British Empire unofficially launched an invasion against the island. The houses were besieged, the people were murdered and the land was once against destroyed (that was not the fault of the British). After the attack goods were returned but the king came under high criticism as the people were anxious of living so close to a British port and feared another attack.

Then the Verussians once again set off and discovered their new home land; Verussia. They arrived to discover the ancient Elven city of Vivenheim was in a state of abandonment so they had claimed it and started a rebuild project for the town with WilsonManzer taking command on that front.

ToxicKingRS and his followers walked thousands of miles through vast arid deserts until they found the rich fertile lands north of the continent in which they decided the colonize and build their capital city; Pallivadia.

With a relatively stable nation they set upon improving international relations after decades of war on distrust, it was then when they found their greatest allies;  Entaria, led by InventorJohn and NRR led by Buckmaster and ChaseDillion. Together they formed the Federated Nations Alliance or FNA whi dedicate themselves to peace but are finding this policy ever so difficult within a world that lacks peace.

Today Verussia is ever growing and has planned two new exotic cities to add to this prosperous nation; San Fernandez and El Maritia.

The New Roman Republic started with one man, Buckmaster1993, he was part of the Dwarven nation of Eternia, a nation that primarily builds underground, and one day decided to explore the surface. The Dwarven president, InventorJohn (Above average height for a dwarf), decided to let him go, seeing him as no threat to the Dwarves, Buckmaster1993 visited the server archives, and discovered a book telling of an ancient civilization of technologically advanced people named the Romans. However, through the archives he could not find any information on where this civilization once was, so he ventured to the east, away from the major empires, to an area scarcely populated by any. There, he found a ruined civilization, arrows, not shown to be Dwarven, Elvish, or Brittish littered the ancient walls, so thick you could climb up them. Inside, he found a city full of stone buildings and a single castle, he explored the castle, and found many documents of current technology, but written in ancient glyphs, Buck learned segments of the native language of the Romans, Latin, and built upon the ancient city, eventually, he started recruiting, and a wide-eyed lover of Roman culture came, Chasedillon123. after a while, Chased became rather distainful twords the empirical form of government that they were using, reminicent of late Roman culture, and staged a protest against it, through this Chasedillon123 earned his spot as consulate in the New Roman Republic. Later, Chasedillon123 found a cavern beneath the city, littered with zombies, skelletons, and spiders, and at the end of the cave he found blueprints for buildings, weapons, and ships previously unseen, these included the Discus-II an upgraded version of the Discus-I found in the cavers, that shoots a disk-shaped projectile from a flat barrel, giving the projectile more aerodynamic features and making it easier to slice through enemy ships. Next was the Trireme and Quadreme Mk. II, upgraded versions of Roman Triremes and Quadremes, capable of carrying cannons instead of Balistae. Finally was Roman building methods, some of these methods did not resemble any Roman structures known to history, and they soon realized these were plans for revolutionary buildings that never got into production, some of these buildings took inspiration from other citys such as Machu Pichu, Mesopotamia, and Greece. Eventually, the NRR solidified itself as one of the major powers in the East, and the Dwarven president, InventorJohn, realized he was very wrong assuming Buck could not make a crew to rival him. Eventually, Eternia, Verussia, and the NRR created what is known today as the Federation Nations Alliance, or the FNA, at first, it was a think tank of nation leaders protecting one another, but eventually InventorJohn went AWOL and Chasedillon123 and Buckmaster suggested they turn the FNA into a force for peace, instead of a think tank, this is the current state of the FNA. Land disputes insued, and the NRR is still expanding, and is currently building a city based on Mesopotamian building and Machu Pichu’s layered city style, known currently as Elexandria, in honor of a CoV warlord known as Elexander.
