Novice trying to understand server's politics

Hello, I’m new in this server. I was amazed by the Movecraft plugin and immediately started a base. Wandering on the forum, I found a lot of political stuff which I find truly hard to follow. Maybe a story/politics summary topic for newbies lime me would be a good thing. Or maybe I just didn’t find it.
Anyway, I see there are a lot of kingdoms andfew pirates. Also, there are a lot of crews but only some of them seem to be active. Could you please give me a brief summary of the situation? Also, I read about these crews. Maybe you could tell me if there are more and also who the captains/kings are.

Admin – GodsDead
British Empire – Bislo, CrazyPirate?
Elven Empire – Reptaria?
CoV – ?
Verussian Empire – ?
What’s the difference between the League of Nations and the Federated Nations?

These are the crews which pop up the most in the forum. Sorry if I missed somebody or spelled something wrong.
Are there some wars going on? Are there any actual pirates or only empires?
Did somebody ever drew a political map? The live map shows some flags and settlements but only british.

OK, so, I don’t know much about other crews politics, but I can give you a run down of all the major empires and the LoN and FNA. So, right now the oldest empires that are still standing on the server are the British Empire (BE) whose current leader I am not sure, as I think they had an election, but it was started by CrazyPirate, Elven Empire (EE) which is a clan system, so there are lots of leaders, and the recently disbanded Verrussian Empire (VE) lead by wilsonmanzer and toxickingrs. PvP crews include Crusaders of the Void (CoV), Solis, and Creed (I believe). Other large crews include the 13 Colonies (13C), United States Empire (USE), and, while I don’t think we’re that big, the New Roman Republic (Known as SPQR in /crew list). While LoN and FNA are very similar, the LoN tends to have more military strong crews within it, the reason there were some rough waters a while back is we had a little trouble with spies, but since then we’ve put that behind us and made a sort of joint group. My suggestion: Take Godsy’s suggestion, but if you feel overwhelmed by all the empires and pirate crews don’t feel bad. We all feel like our head is spinning over the details 😛

The British Empire is one of the oldest and the Largest Crew on the server. You can find alot of information about us on the wiki page, It just hasn’t been updated in a while, so heads of state are not updated, meaning the cabinet shown in there are from previous term.

BE was founded by CrazyPirate1 and is currently run by me as I have been elected its leader for the next 6 months.

I have some more thoughts. I have read the wiki, which is very, very interesting. I find it amazing how detailed the story is, especially in the British Empire page. If, like Bislo said, it wasn’t updated in a while, well then it definitely should be continued. It’s a marvellous work. Anyeay, I would like to ask if there’s a map of the server with raw borders and realms and cities. I found some on the wiki, but they were old and partially completed. I know that the server could change face in one day, but it would be truly interesting to have a view of the general distribution of cities, settlements, Crew territory. It would be a less confusing start for novices like me. Is this a good thing to do in your oponion?

Somebody could make a map with the city names on Photoshop and paint them with the crew’s colours. Another useful and interesting thing to do would be adding also the period of foundation and the name of the founder (for example, Port Hope – May 2014 – Bislo). Yes, I indeed like history.

SPQR created a map of their realms a few weeks back, but I can’t find it any more! Verussia and XE share a continent and have made maps in the past. But again, I can’t find them in a hurry…

No pressure. It’s avery difficult job to explore the rusty archives of this forum. Thank you for the help. I could try to make a first raw map during these days and then slowly correct it with your notes, if nobody else, with more experience than me, wants to try. We are in a pirate server, we can’t live without maps!

Thanks for helping him brits but step aside. If you wanna know the real head honchos of the server you got the Crusaders of the Void. If you’re looking for CoV lite then I guess Solis is your crew
