I can confirm this. With PirateCraft, I managed to kick my nasty old habits within a week and haven’t looked back since. I no longer have a desire for food nor water, nor do I feel any need to leave my chair. I recommend this server to anyone who wants to go cold turkey. Forever. Five stars! ☆☆☆☆☆

As for the event, what about enable cheats for everybody for 24 hours and watch all hell break loose? Reset the server the next day. If that’s not special enough, prepare a massive treasure hunt or ship battle event. Though the ship battle might crash the server these days… Another option would be placing lots of little “dungeons” around PirateCraft with unique boss mobs to fight (using command blocks). They drop phat l00t when killed and require multiple people to defeat.

Also, the international “Talk Like a Pirate Day” is on Saturday 19. September!

You seriously get that worked up over someone killing you? You shouldn’t be on a PVP server then, sorry to say. It’s merely a game and honestly, not a too difficult one. Godsdead gave you live map, and the ability to put invincible magical stonebricks under your floor, but your stuff is still getting destroyed? Try using your brain a bit more.
