I would like to begin the appeal with an apology to the staff, specifically Atalantaa, GodsDead and Taulov for my actions during the remaining months leading up to my ban, I take full responsibility for actions and I am sorry for any distress and time wasted on moderating me.

Since my absence from the community, I have been reconnecting with old friends and enjoying being my normal self, where I am not toxic. I have also settled down with a full-time job and focusing on school. When I was playing on the server, I was very bored with a lot of time on my hands, with that time I was being toxic and breaking server rules, as that was the only thing fun for me at the time. But since finding a path in life, I have been able to dedicate my energy into my studies and work.

As some of the staff like Buck knows, I was on an alt account called Dishonest_ – During this time I showed no indication that I was my old self, Palapourheal. I know I was caught eventually due to my IP address but I was very friendly, behaved and even surprised some of the current staff at that time that I could actually be a better person. I would like to use this as an example that I can indeed change, despite using an alt to prove it. I am sorry Buck for deceiving you and thank you for defending me when you thought I wasn’t Palapourheal.

If I was given a last chance to redeem myself, my goal for myself would continue finishing my town and playing with friends again, I have been planning many builds in single player and wish to one day bring them onto the server. I would also like to participate in item creation, as I enjoyed doing that before I was banned.

I would be happy to have my ban lowered to a temporary ban or a probationary period.

Discord Unban Appeal
Hello! I believe it was in November of 2020 I was muted in game & took a conversation to discord with a helper in a very inexcusable and immature manner. I was disrespectful and way out of line and deserved the punishment resorted to and given. I feel that since that time I have been able to grow as a person and learn much greater restraints. I took the game a little to serious at the time and was much too invested.

I took a long break from PMC, I took a long break from Minecraft and most video games in general – I worked full time all summer & fall and since late November I have been working from home and have been able to enjoy the luxury of playing Minecraft, helping new players kick off their journeys, and making great friends. I believe that since this most recent update to 1.18 on PMC I have been able to display a much greater personality than one previously displayed in the community. I’ve been able to make great friends, allies, and really break old “rivalries” or stupid hatreds toward other players of which had truly no purpose except toxicity.

I am now asking that I be considered, again, for an unban from the discord server as I hope you feel I may be even somewhat deserving of a second chance. The sudden interest in re-appealing, to simply note, is in interest of the new discord-channel plugin for Crews. I have created a new crew, SYN, which has given me the opportunity to take under my wing 6 deckies (who have now become higher ranks). I am constantly on the go, and I hope to take advantage of this amazing new communication tool given to crews.

I am Jakkeyyy. I am asking to be unbanned from Piratecraft. I have been a victim of an attack against my character and have been banned from the Piratecraft server. On 12 May 2021 at 04:34:19 AM I was banned for the given reason of  “Instigates drama, excessive punishments, toxic players – adds no value to the server” By Atalantaa. I was banned because of a poorly written rule that has been sadly used to get rid of players that people do not like over in game matters via fighting, raiding etc.

I was attacked as a censored majority by a loud minority of players because of my actions in the game that are encouraged by the plugins put in place on the server. I know that there are players that do not like me because of things I have done in game (that are not against the rules) or things that I have said that when taken out of context can be manipulated to make me look bad as a goal to defame me.

The reason why certain members of the staff team targeted me was because of my plans to raid them because I wanted the items they had and the accomplishment of getting into nearly impossible bases to get into. Videos by me on pmc about my in-game group called “The Boys in Blue” were posted on my YouTube Channel and members of the staff team wanted me banned because I had a threatening group that was able to successfully raid them and I told them that I was going to do so. Greed has cursed individuals and has made a bias on people who are meant to be fair enforcers of the server’s rules.

The punishment system is flawed in which players are punished for things they did over a year prior to a big punishment without any consideration of context, change in character over time, or age of the player at that moment. This is an action abusing staff members which should not be even thought of.  With a game like Minecraft targeted at a younger audience a lot of young players and teenagers join the game.

When I was 14 in 2020 during a pandemic that kept me locked at home and away from any social life outside I had 34 punishments out of my 43 total including my ban. I am not a mean spirited person. And I am sorry for stuff I said that could have hurt peoples feelings.I just like playing the game. The things I said that got me muted were against staff choices that I did not fully understand because I was a 14 year old. I did not tarnish the characters of individuals to a degree that was inclined to a punishment by the staff team. It was all banter between opposing sides that started from someone killing or raiding the other which is the point of the game as the game encourages people to use custom cannons and weapons to pirate things from others.

I believe in the fact that an individual is innocent until proven guilty. And I have not done anything to be rightfully banned.

On the rules page of the piratecraft website. Under punishments there is a section that states “Punishments are a chance for a player to stop and think about their actions and what they have been punished for; a second chance to be allowed to continue to play.

Collecting excessive punishments will result in much harsher future punishments.” Again the result of this being executed has been staff members milking the previous actions of people from over a year prior to a big punishment so they are not contested in game (raiding and killing) which is a blatant abuse of power and that is what happened to me.

I was given a broad ban reason randomly after doing nothing. I was shocked when receiving the punishment because I do not recall any prior actions of that week or month where I did anything ban worthy. This is more evidence to prove that it was because of the fact that I made a group on the server that had the goal of taking down rich players in the game for their loot, which is the point of the server.

The reason why I want to come back is so I can have a fun experience with my friends on a survival server that has very little modifications compared to other servers. Piratecraft is a very creative place where you can make ships and use cannons to get into exquisite and highly defensive bases and that is why I love it. There is always a challenge. So I am asking to please be rightfully unbanned and to not be judged on some mutes from two years ago when I was 14 that did not harm others and was just me being an annoying middle schooler going through a stay at home lockdown because of a worldwide pandemic. I am sorry for things I said when I was 14 but I do not believe that should add up to things now. There was not a specific event that got me banned it was a major surprise to me so I would like to be unbanned and I am sorry for anything I have done in that that could offend anyone. Im turing 16 and I am going to be a junior in a few months a lot has changed form when I was in middle school.

Hello, around half a year ago I was banned on the PMC discord platform for innapropriate actions on my part directed toward a helper. These actions were, and still are, fully regretted and unneeded. I apologized on my part, following the instance, but a long break from the discord was deserved. I believe that with this half a year break I am prepared to return to the discord and will not continue any behavior of this form. I, currently, have the intent to join the discord primarily to receive updates on the server during its downtime. These actions will not recur, and I again apologize for them sincerely.

Hello PirateCraft staff,

It’s Murubutu, I will keep this appeal very short because I cant write long appeals (blame my english teacher), this way even for you for you it’s easier.

First of all, I want to apologize for trying to play with an ALT known as Ketchapp and hiding it. Eventually, karma bit me and broke by my laptop which is why I have not been seen around much.

I would also like to apologise for afk bypassing 10 months ago, this was the reason that got me banned for my first time on PMC. I am asking for a final chance to play again on PirateCraft with the community that I have grown up with over the years.

I do miss PMC and i am getting a new PC Soon for playing Minecraft again which is why I am appealing this ban today.

Unban Appeal: On the 20th of May, I was banned for admitting to using an x-ray pack which gives me an unfair advantage over other players. I deeply apologize for using x-ray and I assure you that if you unban me I will follow all server rules and protocols. About 2 weeks ago I was muted for 2 weeks, and was kicked a day or so later from the pmc discord for behaving rudely. I apologize for my behavior, it won’t happen again. When I was playing on the server about 10 months ago, the ship system was down. it had been down for quite some time, and I was very frustrated. Out of frustration, I said “ARE THE SHIPS WORKING AGAIN YET” in the chat after being offline for a while. I wanted to move my ship because it was near spawn and I was afraid of griefing. I then got cuffed. After being cuffed for a little while, my game stopped responding. I have attached a screenshot I took during the crash below. When I logged back in, I was banned for leaving upon questioning. Thank you for reading this, and for all the hard work you do on the server being a moderator. Below I have a suggestion for the leaving upon questioning ban system.

For the leaving upon questioning ban system, I recommend that you change it so that, you only get banned if, after you leave, you dont come back within 5 or 10 minutes or something like that. This would help prevent people getting perm banned for a small thing, when they have technical difficulties and did not mean to leave.
