Me and my friend (Flint818) have been thinking of having a stone company in our base. It will have a cobble generator.

I heard that cobble generators are not allowed, or to ask God.

Is this true or do we need permission?

If you do happen to get this running, I can see this as a valuable source of trade if you develop it well. I would be interested in trading with you if this is approved.

Hmm if you can get active workers working all day you could be able to draw in about 1200$-3000$ worth of stone each day. Maybe higher depend if you get god pickaxes or not. Either way it will be a valuable building source for many people.

Hm, if you are allowed to use a cobble generator you could use the tree farm to mass produce charcoal and in turn power furnaces for the stone.

If you actually get this company working please contact me because I will work with you. This is actually a good idea because a lot of new players can work for your company and complete the block challenge of ranking up while you are earning a nice flow of cash coming in. The only hard part about getting this company started is permissions and tools. I mean you could just use a bunch of stone pickaxes at the start and work from there but I would recommend that you give your best workers iron or diamond pickaxes to work with and your fresh employees some stone and iron pickaxes.

Well, its good to know i have have backup BUT I NEED PERMISSION. I CANT BE BANNED.

But this will be a small setup to just make money for my own sub(then crew stuff). I cannot let anyone in my base for this project but i will extend my ideas of STONE Co. to EA only. Of course you can copy the idea but we will always have stone available for you.

Well actually one of the reasons we don’t allow them generally is new players sit afk at those to gain easy rank up. Starting a company owned and operated quarry would do the same thing. Hire workers and guards. Keep it separate from your main claim. Set up minecarts and/or other methods of item transport.

We appreciate you asking first. The answer is no cobble generators.

That’s a really good idea!

I would reccomend just a quarry ( a huge square going straight down) and while some people are mining, you should set up some guards because it would be really easy for just a few raiders to take hold of all your stone.

Well my idea was to have a zero-impact company, but his will have to do. Everyone that wants to help will should join EA, as a means of trust and communication, anyone who is already in a crew can still help (no enemies).
The stone will be kept in a private vault separate from the mine.
Trading with other crews will be allowed.
Workers who have 2 /homes (carpenter up) are in high demand. #sailoronlyhave1home:(
Anyone who wants to help can +1 this message or ask InventorJohn, the mine will be walled and in range of an EA base so don’t think of raiding. #100cannons
Business partners(crews people) can send over guards but his isn’t mandatory. The stone will be sold by EA only, we don’t sell to enemies that we are at war or anyone who is on a kill list for EA.
The prices will be decided by EA (2.5 a stack maybe).
Since I am not always active to watch the mine people will be assigned a foreman ‘rank’. You can only be foreman if you are in EA (trust reasons, sry man).
EACH VOLUNTEER WILL BE PAYED IN STONE. LOCKER ROOMS WILL BE ESTABLISHED FOR EVERY VOLUNTEER. VOLUNTEERS WILL PUT THEIR COBBLE IN THEIR LOCKER CHEST. THE LOCKERS WILL BE CLAIMED BY THE VOLUNTEER AND CHECKED BY A SELECT FEW, ME (TheMeatBarrel), Flint818, and InventorJohn (others maybe)
The wages are 1 stack of stone for every 6 stacks of cobble brought in.
Stealing or workplace killing will be REWARDED with being fired.
NO armor set higher than iron is allowed in the work place.
OTHER RULES WILL BE ADDED.

No-one will volunteer if they get payed 5 times less than if they worked by themselves. :p

You should pay them in another way, like in another item.

This is the hardest thing to do so we changed that to ALL VOLUNTEERS GET ALL THE MINERALS(lapis,gold,iron,diamond,coal,redstone) THEY COLLECT(unless they want to sell them to us).
But I am open to suggestions on how to pay volunteers because we can’t literally pay them every day or week.
