harassing, griefingOverview Description of Report
So me and my crew were hanging out in our base and watching the server map on March 3,2020 around 1-2pm Eastern time. We notice a group of about 10 players coming towards us and then before you know it they are attacking us. They destroy the entire outside of the base trying to find a way in until they did. They killed us multiple times while searching through out the entire base. The enter our storage room to find that everything was locked. Then they left and about 10 minutes after we go down to get materials to start rebuilding. Well when we get down there to get materials then all of a sudden they do the /back command while we are opening chests, kill us, and take everything from the chests that was open. They leave after that and return again about 10 minutes later doing the /back command, killing while in storage room, and taking our stuff. Me and my friends are now worried about every time we are in there one of them has done the /back command and is invis just waiting for us to come down there and open a chest. We have made barely any progress lately because of it.March 19, 2020 at 10:37 am #65364Hello, let me point out a few things first. First off, we did not “destroy your whole base” for the sake of doing it, we were looking for a way in which we eventually did find, this is not griefing by any means. Second of all, we “killed you multiple times” because you were attacking us, if you keep us combat tagged we’re not able to /home. Ah one more thing, none of us has access to /back since nobody in the crew possesses a Captain rank, we just had multiple members completely invisible inside your base, and it’s a bit sketchy how your team mate OVSH was aim locking on us without knowing we were there :).

Hangs motionless upon the airMarch 20, 2020 at 12:03 am #65379Few points, It was 8 to 10 people (Mafia Crew), each of individual did ./siege, the siege lasted about 20 to 30 minutes (half a hour I would say.) of pure siege, which can be considered harassment. Also not only are we near warp north, but having multiple people staying at our base for a good 20 minutes, with invisibility after the siege was over was uncalled for, and harassment. This could be consider harassment. (is harassment.) Since Portugalj had to say something, he also was harassing us. We were siege by him 3 times, all in a row, all failed attempts, and targeting. (also stole and grieved ships, which was uncalled for, and ships were in someone elses claimed land.) When the gang of 8 to 10 people showed ( Mafia Crew) up they started taunting me (more than they should.) when they came in my base, due to me telling them “Its siege proof.”

Don’t twist words around, Empire said “They destroy the entire outside of the base trying to find a way in until they did. ” (which is true. They dug all around for about 20 minutes, stayed in base for around 10 minutes, after siege, the captains did ./back in base.) The Mafia Crew did in fact use more siege time to go inside my base. And either did ./sethome or ./back to get into my storage without knowing.

The siege took place on my claim. On March 3, 2020 around 1- 2 PM Eastern Time.
This shouldn’t happen again, due to all the changes I’ve done to the base.

Alright,
This has been a really big gripe of mine for a while.
The level of crying and complaining on this server is at a whole new level. And it needs to stop. As I have said many times, this is a “SURVIVAL SERVER” you are supposed to die from time to time at the hands of another. This means:
– You Die, like lose your hearts and wither away kind of die.
– You are NOT required to get your stuff back and you ARE NOT supposed to whine and beg for it. If you want it back get it your damn self.
– You can/will eventually be sieged. Don’t complain if they get in. Don’t keep all your eggs in one basket and it won’t hurt as bad.
– If they kill you more than once it is not HARASSMENT!
From now on any complaining that someone wants to make about being attacked, sieged, etc. needs to be made in the proper place on the forums. That is why we have a forum!
AS OF NOW- I along with many other staff are not handling these matters in game ANYMORE!
I’m tired of babysitting baby pirates GROW UP, did you not get enough RUM?
For those who still haven’t found their rum and learned how to walk on two feet, any excessive complaining done in PUBLIC CHAT will be punishable. *at the discretion of the staff*

the sieges and attacks that happened to you are not quite punishment-worthy. If you are being attacked for days and days by the same person, that would be a different matter.
I recommend you fixing your base and gather strength in numbers and maybe plan a counter attack ?! 🙂When/if sieged again, afterwards try to make sure no invis players are still hiding out before unlocking chests again. Also, use plenty doors within your base to reduce others browsing undeterred all over.
