well if its the olimpic games then it should be close to cove but if its a hunger games i think we just have to cirlcle an area and let the players fight there witha no pvp time of 60 seconds

No, the Olympics will be hosted by participating empire’s cities.There will be people to tp outside the site.As for hunger games, I think it will be like watching any hunger games video and won’t involve he audiance as much, it will just be people watching a video and will defeat the purpose of having it on piratecraft, you could, just as easily record on another server

As O said before, this would not be survival games this is going to be the Hunger Games from the books and the films. Not the normal Minigames one. We could also do the thing for the start so that they have to wait a minute before they get off the podium or else the either get blown to smitheroones or dropped into a lava pit.

right first off.

The Hunger Games would be run in away that people had to sign up to compete.

The people from each crew could sign up to be put in the ‘reaping’.

There should be a way getting gear to others and the arena would probably have areas of shelter in it.

For the Olympics it would probably last about a 2 days to about a week for all the events to go through and to get the most spectators.

Also each crew/nation would need to sign up their own, do try outs for people and find the best in their crew/nation.

The Olympics host before hand would have to figure out what sort of events they would want to do as well to avoid disappointment.

Once I have set up my Capital and made or started about 2 more settlements I will start a fund for the first games (Hunger or Olympic).

Also I like the idea of a Marathon but that could possibly need to be on a route but I would most like the Marathon possibly set round a certain route round the host’s land or city or whatever but it could possibly be about half or a quarter of the world maybe.

Period 1 is about to start so that all i can type now bye!!

Palmer, could you tell me if this will be a once off thing, monthly thing or annual thing. Because if we do it once off that would ruin the Hunger Games, if we do it monthly that would ruin the purpose of the Olympics, so we should do it annual and do one event, six months later do the other. It is the best possible solution in my eyes.

No I never said it would be a one off event.

I said if it didn’t work out well and it didn’t work we wouldn’t do it again.

Also I did put Hunger Games or Olympics so we would probably do the one people seem most interested in first and then maybe the other, it depends.

But the Hunger Games does seem the hardest we might in the end wait for others to die in the arena but I have encountered one more problem with the Hunger Games idea.

LIVE MAP that could be used and it could be over in seconds.

But I dunno I feel Olympic Games would be a better community thing to look forward to.

Mainly because it is to put struggles and urges against others away.

Also it gives people not a lot of prizes and only bragging rights and it is competing on skill.

Not kill.

But I dunno if people don’t care about the live map whatever but I feel the Hunger Games idea for me seems to be lagging a bit with a lot of problems.

I think the Hunger Games would be a more interesting event than the Olympics, because, it has more action.

I know but Hunger Games yes I might have more action but it doesn’t mean you’ll be doing.

And the live map would just ruin it.

I’m more Olympic pro now but if you can state something I would love to hear it.

I’m against hunger games, it just dosent involve the audience as much as olympics,there is more excitement and fun with Olympics and has a wide selection of unique events.

Hunger Games could be part of the Olympics. Just dump some tributes on an island somewhere and watch them fight.

Actually that’s quite a good idea Paul.

We should call it something different but that shouldn’t be an event people look forward to though.
I was also thinking every host should have an opening ceremony.

With fireworks maybe, parades, music, saluting Cannons in the distance I dunno but that would be exciting also maybe a Torch Relay might be cool with a giant fire altar as well.
