So a couple of years ago, much of the server shared a day with a common interest in a little activity that was created on the fly. Basically a game of soccer, which I call Buccaneer Ball. The small game put two teams of two/three onto a field with goals at the ends, much like that of a soccer arena, with a ball in the center (ironically, I was the ball). The teams would then hit the “ball” with knockback sticks and try to throw the player/ball into the opposite team’s goal.

I remember that this little sporting event was a lot of fun and non-violent, even given the characters that attended. I’m wondering, could we bring it back and make it PMC’s official sport? I would love to see gatherings of people to watch a player get knocked around with sticks in the name of sport!

The current pvp meta on pmc needs work. Players can just be in combat for 8s then tp away or just flat out log to prevent dying.

My suggestion:

• Increase combat tag to 30s, this allows time for the enemy to catch-up and finish the kill which is impossible to do as of now.

• Add a logout timer that leaves an npc when the player logs out. There are plugins that have this available. This makes it so people cant combat log because their logout npc will stay for 30s to 1min depending on what its set at.

Adding these two suggestions would 100% increase the ability to pvp on piratecraft. I’m a longtime vet on here and also have been on countless servers with similar mechanics installed and the pvp is amazing.

I am not sure what your policies are for players asking for law installation that are outside of your crew, but I was bored to tears with studying for my final
exams for Economics and English, so I decided to write this instead.

This law will restrict all members and citizens of the British Empire from attacking “innocent players” and prevent needless “pirating of goods” from others. This will law will redirect the focus of the British Empire to include the ending of abusive war, killing, and raiding

DEFINITIONS:
Innocent – All players who are not currently at war, are not raiding other players, have no unpunished history of raiding players, and those who are
defending their homeland from raid. This includes all non-toxic Deckhands and Cadets.

Toxic – A player may be determined toxic as determined by the British Parliament.

Raid – An unprovoked attack involving killing, stealing, or some combination of the two.

Pirating – The act of raiding an innocent player.

Minor Offense – An offense to this law that results perfectly within the rules of PirateCraft without any toxicity, or minor aid to Pirating of goods.

Major Offense – All offenses that are not Minor Offenses.

Members of the British Empire – All players who are in the British Empire crew, are considered Citizens of the British Empire, or are considered
subordinates of the British Empire. This also includes all members of any province within the British Empire.

ARTICLES:
Article I – All members of the British Empire are prevented from Pirating any innocent player.

Article II – Any member of the British Empire who breaks this law will be subject to punishment as detailed under the Punishments Section.

Article III – Any player(s) outside of the British Empire who are accused of excessive Pirating, as determined by the British Parliament, are to be subjected
to the consequences of breaking this law, and are to be stopped by the British Empire’s enforcers of this law.

Article IV – No player that is a member of the British Empire is allowed to aid, assist, or otherwise help in any way, a player(s) in the act of Pirating.

ENFORCERS:
The British Royal Army and British Royal Navy are to enforce this law, as detailed.

PUNISHMENTS:
Punishments for the violation of this law include, but are not limited to as the British Parliament sees fit, the following.

* Warning (for first-time minor offenses only)
* Temporary Suspension from the British Empire
* Returning of items
* Manual Labor in service to the British Empire
* Moderate Fines
* Confiscation of possessions
* War Deceleration (only in the case of a crew-wide Pirating Scenario)
* Execution of the Offending Player.

Reason: I built a nether portal and it put me dead center into this stone brick room claimed by Tobias (unsure if real Tobias…) and it prevents me from entering the nether. There’s nothing but a steel door, a crafting table, and a chest which I doubt has much in it. I under stands that it’s almost a month under the minimum, but this doesn’t look used at all and anyone else near me attempting to reach the nether is probably also going to run into this problem. I wouldn’t even have a problem with the door just being removed so I could go into the Nether. If you can’t do anything, I understand and I’ll revisit this at a later date. Thanks in advance!
