Thanks for investigating. My Unban thread seems to have been deleted or is now inaccessible to me (https://piratemc.com/topic/unban-appeal-masker321/#post-67401), so I am opening a new one to reply. This does sound like a possibility.
The user is relatively new to multi-player Minecraft (I only set the account up a couple of months ago). The user has admitted they did not read the rules. The user was not familiar with some of the conventions of online gaming. If mentioning of another server or IP address is the reason, is it possible that the user could be given a second chance? Any misdemeanour would have been through failing to read the rules rather than through maliciousness, and would not happen again now that they are aware.

The only consistent thing I can see is people with TERRIBLE internet connection, So I assume its your internet not being able to load the chunks when you teleport.
- How do we reproduce this each time, obviously nothing can be “fixed” if nobody gives a way to reproduce 100% of the time, I cannot submit a vague bug report.
- What timeframe has this happened? @astrobolt report isn’t related, so that’s being ignored from the timeframe in my head.
- Is it just boats or all entities? Has it happened not on an entitiy?
- What is the death message when you die? is it trapped in a block or dropped from a height?
- ALL of the homes I have checked from people reported have been set INSIDE blocks, and the plugin is having to find a safe location to put you, so its having to do extra calculations in the split second you teleport as you have set your home inside blocks to put you somewhere safe, maybe I should just disable safe teleporting? then it’ll just block you teleporting into that block (hopefully) or just suffocate you. Maybe people need to die to place their homes properly.
Cant do anything until I have some basic information answered.
As I said previously, I have one of the best connections of anyone, so I don’t really know what you’re talking about? As for reproducing it, I will attempt to do it later today.
I know this has been going on from at least as far back as this summer, and presumably fairly recently because jammin’s report is fairly recent. (He’ll have to tell you specifically)
As for my report being irrelevant, I’m not exactly sure how? It’s literally about the problem being discussed.
I have only tested it with boats (the last time I did it was when you were watching to confirm) but buckmaster complained once that he died when he teleported off of another entity. (I think it was a lama)
I don’t remember for sure, but I believe it says fall damage as the death reason. And no, I don’t believe any of our homes are 100 blocks off the ground. The problem isn’t that we fall to our deaths, it’s that we die instantly upon teleporting.
I’m not sure if you checked my homes or not, but none of them are in blocks or in any position that could kill me. Since I have experienced this issue, this confirms that it is not related to where a home is.
Again, I will attempt to reproduce this and record it later on today if I have time.

I kinda agree with that proposal, having a larger sub would be nice. But more importantly, it would be nice to have it achieved within the Firstmate or Quartermaster ranks. Those 2 ranks don’t seem to have a whole lot when it comes to massive advantages compared to the other ranks, even though they are fairly hard to achieve.

In all seriousness, here’s a round up of the past 3 months:
- Helper rank introduced as a temporary rank which allows the user to jail, mute, and kick I think. Admins can freely set anyone to this rank and demote as they please. Current helpers are LEGO, Nahadoth, Bazurka, and Palmerageddon.
- Emielreijs and PythonAce promoted to Moderator
- TAS and CLTN had land drama – it quickly escalated and involved staff
- A shrek cult was formed by JUSAplayer1- basically a bunch of people with shrek names shreking people
- The_Network, JavaInvader, and Kellyyore removed from staff positions, Creepermorderen promoted to developer
- We discovered that Kettoh, Jmoo, and Riverwood202 had been spawning in money for the past 10 months, they were banned along with The_Network. CLTN – TAS drama largely stopped at that point. Their belongings were confiscated.
- Introduction of the ‘Locker’ as a punishment – you are teleported to a separate world made of sand and must dig 3 double chests of sand (I think) with no tools. You are unable to talk, tp out, or skip the punishment.
- Halloween crate was added and keys drop randomly to people every 30 minutes. Top prize is a highly sought after sharpness 11 hoe.
- Shockerboy died
- A small bit of drama ongoing right now between several crews

So….I have gotten a major name battle for the Chittenden/Dalkon/Parrot sea. @BGraph @Palmerageddon @Peppykiss395 can yall try and solve this problem yourselves. I’ve tried to work with you 3 and some of you guys won’t budge. Its getting to a point that I think it may be best if you 3 can decide whats the best name for that area where the Chittenden states, 13C, and the Parrot Lovers base is, as well as various other active bases.

For the last few days, me and @palmerageddon have been discussing over DMs on discord about making a map of PirateCraft containing all oceans, seas, their names, and canals connecting them. Attached is the map I made from compiling everything me and Palmer discussed, as well as information I found through the wiki.
There are 2 major seas that still need naming, and thats what I have partly made this forum thread for, to try and find good names for some of these regions not yet named. Also, if anybody suggests idea for the changing of certain sea names thats fine, however I probably won’t be changing the names of the 3 major oceans, just the outlying seas.
After this, one thing I was also thinking about was dividing up the 3 major oceans into various connecting seas, as I have found on the wiki that some people have named certain sections of the major oceans as various seas. I may do that on smaller maps containing just an ocean, with all the seas making up the ocean.
When finished, ill put this on the wiki, probably as a Image Map where you can click on each sea or ocean and go to the page describing it.
Basically, I want feedback, and help with some naming.

Well, if you can make custom mobs, surely you can change the aesthetics of certain players also? For people who role play and what not, I’m sure they’d love some little pointy ears. Be interesting to have a sort of “boss” in each MAJOR sea, which depending on what it is, require certain quests and whatnot which are available only on certain days of the week. It might involve visiting certain builds, which may or may not have the quest item or may contain the same one as another one, or have a sort of gauntlet instead of a boss hidden in the sea. IDK, there is just tonnes of things to do, hopefully some of these zones as well can require players to work together, and that all get rewarded equally, which’ll hopefully extinguish toxicity. I just hope the Pandas also know Kung fu.
@Palmerageddon This idea I think sounds pretty fun to be honest. Although I don’t know the viability of the custom editing of aesthetics of most players.
As for the custom mobs, this is why I was wanting to reply. The idea of having a custom deep sea boss in each major sea I think would add a lot of new strategy and fun to the server. Now there is the issue of making sure these bosses don’t just swim through the canals and into the other seas, but if we can fix what sea they stay in via some funky commands….this could work.
We will need however a list of all major seas, something that the wiki doesn’t seems to have at the moment. I’m going to start a page to try and compile a list of all major seas on the wiki but I might need some help finding them, and naming those who do not have names yet.

Now Palmer, I can agree that there is some issues with trying to create changes like this while not having much experience on the server. And there are a few issues to note with the change. But overall the issues you try to attack I think self-solve themselves fairly easily.
With the issue that you discussed in point 1, the guy who started this thread wasn’t very clear as to what to be removed specifically, so I can see why your concerned that he may be saying to remove all types of hyper-fast transportation (i.e. teleportation, warps, homes). However, the ideas discussed afterwards cleared this up as people who replied after stated to just delete tps, keep homes, and ill just assume they also want to keep a few of the warps. This should clear up the issues you discussed in your first statement.
Onto the second point, I think part of my response just above about point 1 cleared this up, as where they die will be their home(s). As for destroying the point of a place that increases ship usage, this wouldn’t remove the entire purpose of it. Because if there was lets say a couple warps around spawn, and then everyone got like 1-2-3 homes depending on rank, even if you used all 3 homes you couldn’t get to everywhere on the map effectively and without tp you’d have to use elytras, get a horse, or get a boat, to get to other areas.
Finally, on the last point, I will agree with you on that a lot. There are people who still use ships from time to time and the person who started this thread could of just sailed around and used his ships more. Ships are still used on PirateCraft from time to time, and there is of course the official ship battles which take place from time to time. So yes, he probably could just do that.

Very smooth going battle throughout, high turnout, good use of strategies, lots of ships, no crash or drama, pretty much a perfect battle. As with last time, we had 2 lots of 20 minutes of fighting, with 10 minute breaks in between, followed by 15 minutes of sudden-death. We had more than 30 people taking part split among 5 ships.

- The Shrek’s Hand – Received moderate damage in first 4-5 minutes of battle from concentrated fire from 4orange’s ship, before turning around and sinking them. Also recieved moderate damage in second half thanks to Berlusconi and Scuabtuinne.
- Berlusconi – Received light damage in first half, and moderate damage in second half. Was largely repaired during the breaks.
- The Crusader – Received almost no damage in first half, and moderate concentrated fire in second half by Scuabtuinne, The Shrek’s Hand, and Berlusconi. The captain surrendered 2 minutes before sudden death started.
- 4orange’s ship – Chose to engage the disorganized Shrek’s Hand at the start, dealing good damage, but was sunk after 6 minutes from some lucky broadsides from the Shrek’s Hand. It sank largely intact.

Next Battle:
Doing a mini fleet battle next week Saturday 8th September at 8:00pm GMT – same time as usual. The basis of that battle is that any team can have up to 5 ships competing (rather than 1 per team). Its just for some fun, and will be a little more chaotic 🙂
