As you state here you got your keys back. And IronAR was not aware that we changed the roles about killing with grappling hooks in warp areas. He instantly went to get the keys, Which were the thing you complained about in chat.

You even agreed with me that handing out a punsihment for a rule that was recently changed is not the best idea.

All in all this was handled by staff online.

I want to add warps are NOT safe, people can kill you, mobs can kill you. If you want a safe place build yourself a good base.

    Reason for Report
    breaking rules

    Overview Description of Report
Killed at cove by grapple, while redeeming vote keys.

    Detailed Information

The point of rules is that you know what to expect.

When I go to cove, I expect to be able to use my vote keys, and I watch out for people pushing me into the water, since it’s an obvious way to die there. However, once the vote key GUI pops up, there is nothing I can do to stop a grapple.

I have lost hours of experience farming, because a greedy child wanted vote keys.

If a server is expected to attract and keep new players, this cannot be the experience players have when voting.

Voting isn’t for me, it’s for the server. If the server does a bad job ensuring voting is worthwile and safe, why am I going to vote for it?

IronAR killed me, but I probably wasn’t the first one he killed. If someone can spend their time invisible, killing people who are voting, and when they finally get caught by someone who realizes it isn’t allowed, all they have to do is give back the items they took to that one person, I don’t see how that can be considered an enforced rule.

Not to mention after dying the first time, I was able to get back my keys quickly, and he killed me a second time, while I was trying to explain it wasn’t allowed. When he got the keys that time, he voted immediately, indicating to me that he knew it was wrong. When he got called out, he immediately said okay okay ill give back the keys, again, indicating that he knew it wasn’t allowed.

Imagine being allowed to attempt a robbery, disfiguring or seriously injuring a person in the process, and then when you get caught, you just have to give  back the money and be on your merry way. It makes no sense.

How many people were killed by grapple who did not realize they had a recourse? I’m lucky because it had happened to me last week, and I asked if it was allowed at that time, so I knew to call out IronAR this time, but I doubt everyone knows this.

If he didn’t know it wasn’t allowed, why was he invisible, hiding his name? It’s not like I would’ve noticed him up there anyways. I’m just lucky the invisibility ran out, so I was able to record him, and that I enabled windows game mode last time someone tried to do it to me, to retroactively record 30seconds.

If nothing else comes of this, at least I will have documented one instance, so that he can’t ever do it again and say he didn’t know.

This garbage hurts the server. A lot.

    Stewie,
I don’t understand why you have to jump into arguments that involve Rome when it has nothing to do with you and you don’t even know the whole story. With all due respect, shut up.

If I recall, we sieged and broke that dirt to try to find a way into the base below, in case there was some dirt that led down, we could have broken the dirt manually to cause less damage but it would have take an a lot longer to find a small dirt hole that went through (turns out the entire thing was blocked off with stone anyway). So, while maybe slightly too much, this is still necessary for us to get into the base, or try to get in at least. This is not blatant griefing for no reason just to piss someone off.

Second, if you look at Maxy’s response to another stupid accusation of griefing against us, made by DevilsMerchant (EnderSold), he writes: “If it can be fixed in a couple of hours, it’s not our problem.” The “griefing” on JelatinMold that you show in your screenshots, Stewie, can be fixed in a solid 2 minutes, and certainly within “a couple of hours”.

Vape since you wanted context here are the answers to your questions from ROME’s side of the story:
Katsumoto is in ISEN, we are in ROME, our crews are at war. This is a fact that is widely known and while technically we aren’t at “war”, only rivaled, using the SimpleClans plugin (This is because Vlad keeps denying our war requests), we are very much at war in terms of the game and we constantly attack each other. The reason we are at war is because when Minepixe, a former Roman member and traitor, left Rome to join Isen, keeping his claimed, unbuilt city right outside one of ours. So we told Vlad and Minepixe that if Minepixe doesn’t unclaim the city, we will go to war with them. This is after a few of their members including EnderSold, Acusa, CT, IronAR and a few others had been raiding us for days anyway.  This is definitely not the first time we have attacked Isen, we have attacked them many times.

Honestly, a lot of people are just jumping on ROME, always calling us the enemies and that we are wrong when they don’t know the whole story, cough cough stewie cough cough. I know we aren’t exactly the most likable crew but this report just makes it seem like ISEN is on a witch hunt, trying to get us banned because we raid them and they get butthurt. We know all about getting raided, ROME gets raided all the time by pvpers, we just deal with it and keep trying. Vlad, stop trying to go to staff to solve all your issues and deal with them yourself. Vlad has made 2 reports on griefing, both of them do not pass Maxy’s response: “If it can be fixed in a couple of hours, it’s not our problem.”

Stop this witch hunt Vlad just fight the war, don’t cry to staff because you know you will lose.

    So, to sum things up:

    – In my initial comment on this thread, I said that your city is “only a few hundred blocks away from /warp north, and very easy to get into”. I never said we used /warp north to get there, but rather that it was extremely close to a warp. Therefore, only an extremely lazy (and idiotic) individual would need a /sethome in your city, as it takes about 5 minutes (max) to get there from the warp. Go ahead and ask staff to check his homes if you don’t believe what I’ve already said. The notion that Cosmic would have kept a /sethome at Isen for the past few months is truly moronic. We didn’t even have any problems with you guys back then, and only recently starting being hostile towards you guys again (I say “again” because you might try to bring up our past hostilities during the TNRR v Isen war, or some other shit, to try and explain why we could have ever possibly had a /sethome in your land. ROME had been neutral towards Isen since I joined 7 months ago, and until recent events regarding you and one of our former members. We never kept any sort of loathing for Isen during this time, and I was actually quite good friends with you and mikael). The fact that Cosmic showed up in the “exact location I (you) saw him a few months back” (and there is no way to know this isn’t utter BS) is a mere coincidence, at best. Again, feel free to have staff check his set homes, we have nothing to hide there.

    – Yes, one of your members did have a bed spawn outside our city. But the next day, Baz and I found out that IronAR did have a /sethome outside our city (you can check Iron’s punishment tracker).

    – We did indeed grief you guys that day, to which I apologize for the severity. However, we don’t plan on doing such an action again, so there’s no need to keep slandering us for it. Also, to address your comment, “change your ways or you will be forced to change”; I don’t think its your place to enforce the rules (leave that to staff) or to make threatening comments like that. lol

Just to clarify, your members (IronAR) did have a /sethome right outside a roman city, and Baz gave him a warning for it. You can check this to know I’m not making this up. However, what YOU are making up is that we could have had a /sethome.

(Here is a detailed account of the events related to the grief):
Incase you didn’t know, we actually sailed to Isen from Vastere, on dhows. We took 5 dhows, with 2 people in each. You can verify this by asking Torkey, Rivvur, and Minister, who literally sped onto the dhows and killed us, while we were sailing (this was near Maxy’s port). Because, of this, we just had everyone stay at home, and someone sailed on a vanilla boat the rest of the way to Isen. We wanted to carry on with the role-play “invasion” of Isen, so we had the person in the boat land in our target destination (the bay near the area that was later griefed). We then all tped to the member who sailed the rest of the way to Isen, and brought cannons. After bombarding the shores, we went onto the land to observe the damage. (At this point, there were only a few holes in the land, as we used cannons). After going onto the land, we decided to have the legionnaires gather some dirt. We needed more dirt to fill up the holes outside our city, Vastere, that were made when Isen members EnderSold and IronAR attacked earlier that morning. Quite a decent amount of land outside Vastere was griefed by the aforementioned Isen members, so we decided to tell the legionnaires to gather as much dirt from your land as they thought necessary for repairing our land. What followed was about 8 roman members (some with god shovels) taking a LOT of dirt out of an area that was near an Isen building. I would like to say that we did not intend to do as much damage as we did, so I sincerely apologize. We should have had better control over our force of destruction. Clearer directions should have been given, so I am sorry about what took place.
