**I am not aware this is against server rules, but i just wanted to see what people say to this as i know others have experienced this before**
So, this ‘reported incident’ did not occur to me, it occurred to a crew mate of mine, Kingkobra987.
The Xenon Empire and the Elven Empire, so to my understanding so far, have been allies since, well when i joined the server. I kindly hosted the Elven Ball for Rep way back in June or July, and ever since, we have been peaceful. As some of you know, i share the continent with the VE, and enemy of the EE, and our bases are not too far apart. As far as i understand, Rep and/or other elves have griefed Vivenheim (Lord__Apples’ old base) several times.
However, i join the server today, to see kingkobra987’s base in a bad shape, and a platform with two iron ‘mortars’ near it (seen on the livemap image with an ‘A’). Furthermore, you can clearly see a ‘LOL’ in the base (marked with a ‘B’). Kingkobra has not been on the server long enough to claim his entire base, however he has clear boundaries and he is working on getting as much claimed as possible.
These mortars were created by ‘Reptaria’ as they left their sign on the mortar (the # on one of the images markes where the mortar info would be, along with where Rep’s name would be). However, thymen broke the mortar so i have no picture proof of this, so you can only have OCC_Psycho, thymen and my word for it as we all witnessed the sign. I also replaced the mortars and sign to show where it was.
As previously mentioned, me and the XE have a healthy relationship with the Elves, so i am clueless about this griefing, thus i categorize it as ‘unnecessary griefing’.
I am not sure why, or for what reason this was done, but this base has seen better days (as seen in screenshots). Also, kingkobra has not done anything to harass or anger the elves, so as far as we can say, this was something started by the Elves. I also don’t know if you mistakened the base for a VE base, thus i could slightly understand this, however, i don’t.
Could the elves, especially Reptaria please inform me about why this happened.

Yesterday the members of Reich, tped there and attempted to get a few people jailed. There was a lot of killing and I think some of this griefing was due to that. I tped in and rememeber there was tnt on walls, (where holes are now). I think it would be safe to say that the mortars were set up in an attempt to kill the reich members without getting jailed?
Just my two cents.

I originally thought it might of been some inaccurate fire when attacks on VE happened but it hit the base accidentily, not like that though.

Im no genius but I wouldn’t doubt if that “LOL” was correlated to their immature ways of making words on live map.

First off, I stayed away from your land because we’re friends, I attacked that base because A. Belonged to VE and they are at war with us. Second there is some idiots named reich which they think are some German nazi party,they came and start attacking so that fired us up even more which led to that
We are planning on making a base near there for military reasons and exploring the fortress until turn of events occurred.
My apologies it went a bit far but they came guns blazing ready for a fight so we gave them a run for there money
I will from my own pocket donate recourses to help fix it up, but next time you need to tell me what all is yours. You only told me that the big port city was.
If this was a question you need to ask me myself in pm instead of blowing this up which you already done which is to late. I think you want more attention to this than it is. Anyways send me a PM of all your cities but other than that
our plans for the VE is between the Capitol party and all other nations involved in this invasion.

Because, my understanding was, that Maximus only had one Port on the continent, while the VE controlled the rest…

November 10, 2015 at 4:47 pm #23442Well… this has taken and interesting turn to when i last left it, to say the least. I guess i have some explaining to do on my part.
Firstly, sorry if i sounded too… harsh towards the Elves. You have to see this from my perspective: I saw craters, i saw a mortar with your name on it, we later found tnt… i added 1 and 1 together and… yeah. I have seen similar destruction to Vivenheim, i was the one who took 11 hours to rebuild it. Thats why i also added “I also don’t know if you mistakened the base for a VE base”. Sorry.
Secondly, i do not intend to get between you and your ‘VE business’, that’s your… mess.
Thirdly, i am in no position what so ever to criticize Elven war tactics, but could you not have double checked who owns this base, and to which empire it belonged before doing that (not saying it was all your fault)? Kingkobra is the only other leader in my crew, and i have no idea what so ever who is in this ‘German Nazi party’, or why they were at my base. But then again, i take a little blame for not informing you as well.
Anyway, fourthly, i put this on the forum to gain information, that’s all. I find it too slow to just send private messages, furthermore, i was given useful information by witnesses (thanks ken). Rep, you and I come on at very different times, sending private messages would probably make this drag on 2-3 days after it happened. Once again, sorry.
Lastly, which seems to be the biggest misunderstanding, which i am to blame for. I don’t want a war Rep. I never did. That mail was send literally within minutes of me joining the server and seeing the destruction, BEFORE i wrote the forum post. I was pretty annoyed , Kingkobra was pissed, i simply forwarded a message from him to you (sort of). Just ignore it and any other mails that come in from crew members regarding this war nonsense. Also, sorry for wording the mail badly, at the time i simply wished to end our peace treaty, that was by far not a declaration of war. If you wanted a war, then we surrender, we are in no state to start a war with the Elves, that was the last thing i wanted.
Anyway, thanks for all the info, and sorry for the stress. I was not able to answer sooner to these posts so i came in for quite a shock this morning.
For future reference, i will add a screenshot of the livemap of XE bases (red, and the capitol in a thick red), XE territory (in a brown/maroon), and VE territory so we avoid conflicts in the future (sorry its so badly drawn, i did that with the snip tool). Although you don’t really need it, you have my permission to build wherever you want on my land, however it is getting a little claustrophobic here.
Thank you to all, sorry again to Rep. I will send a private mail with the damage report, i think a few stacks of stone brick should do it – we patched quite a bit last night with my own stone.
P.S You guys are bl**dy good at destroying bases. Ill remember that.

I promise we will stay away from your cities and will send materials of what’s needed just message me everything you need! 🙂
Since this was both faulty misunderstandings no hard feelings to us or you were cool 🙂
Also make flags and or signs informing us who’s it belonged to because I sent in two scouts and saw nothing 😛
