"Unclaimed" Ship Stolen

So I came on the server today and was informed that my ship The Locke was stolen by Daniel McLachlen. Now he told people that he stole it because it was “Unclaimed” but I decided to check it myself and guess what? My claim is still there. It was double chested and it sat that way ever since I finished it. Now you may be thinking “Okay… He stole it another way.” But why would he say that he stole it because it was unclaimed if the claim remains? I don’t ever remember moving it. Now if there was something that I missed, please at least let me know.

We’ve also had the same problem, with claimed and unclaimed ships being stolen. No evidence, but it might be that he links it up with another ship, before sailing away, which makes sense in our case, not so much in yours. Also, I believe it is against the rules to use 1 ship to bypass claims to steal another.

The ship in question was on claimed land however the claim was Dr. solids and no it was not double chested. A member of my crew found said ship and asked me to come check it with a hoe since I had the rank to be able to sail it. I repeat the ship was not double chested. where we found the ship was next to the going merry by the way. Now on the subject of the return of the ship. Crazy simply messaged me and asked if I had taken it. At the time he did not ask for it back. Instead he decided to send a raiding party to my home. They did not ask for the return of the ship until after sieging my claims. If I had been asked beforehand the ship would of been returned. I for the most part have no animosity towards BE but do not take kindly to being sieged. If you would like it back you may ask nicely and I will unlock the ship. also so you know a ship with double chests can’t be towed.

Oh god no Doc I wouldn’t of stolen the merry….well actually if you left unlocked… that is not a ship that should ever be left unlocked. some new kid would get that beauty and end up getting her sunk.

But it was chested, and it was in the claim, my claim is still in the same place, so was the ship. If I get my ship back I will drop the thing and we can just get on with our lives for once.

Aye aye that is all well and good. you think yer ship was chested and all though I say she weren’t. Now theres the matter of me being sieged. I find this dissagreable. Though this time I suppose Ill go cheap being as I like yer build. 300 even and she’ll be unchested for yee to sail off into the sunset.

Quinn, these are different ships. The one you stole from crackerz isn’t the one described above. On a side note, I didn’t send people to siege you. You’ll have to speak to crackerz though, it’s up to him about what he wants doing.

Crazy, it is the same ship. The Locke was built for both Crackerz and I. As for it’s return, I will pay the fine, but I’d watch who I steal from If I were you. If not you may find a bigger ship aiming for you, and I’m not just talking about us.

The only problem is meeting each other, since school is in session I am not as active, causing us to come on and leave at different time zones.

As for the siege, I believe it was an act that was not thought thoroughly. If you were in our shoes, you would think that asking was not a common option. The least you can do is return it (which you said you will) and not touch our ships, neither will we to your’s.

Last I checked it WAS locked tight, don’t know what happened in that case. And yes you can steal ships if they are in claims, just need to attach another ship to it.
