THE KRAKEN!!!!! A Pirate server needs a good Kraken

In PirateCraft you travel around with a boat plugin that allows you to go around the world. However, besides squids(Ugh) there is no danger in the water besides other players. If players could spawn in the Kraken, kind of like the wither, we would be able to have a fun fight and it should be able to drop at least one random enchanted thing. This would be a fun experience for all players. Plus, you could use it to raid underwater bases. Just sending fun stuff to do

But the thing is it would cause a lot of lag, plus you would be sailing a boat. It would probs crash the server

Honestly I think the idea of kraken temples scatted throughout the map that allow you to summon the monster guarded by the Guardian mobs would be cool although the temple itself would have to be claimed

Unless there’s a plugin or something, I don’t think its possible. However I think that would be awesome if Kraken’s could spawn at different parts of the ocean and wreck havock on sailors and ships but if we defeat it we get loot.

A Kraken sounds pretty cool i must say. I don’t think there is a plugin for one though so one may have to be made by the Admins

Possibly 1 per ocean, and it only ranges so far from it’s spawn point & stays at least 30 blocks away from any land mass touching the surface (i.e. islands).

But it shouldn’t be used to attack people’s bases really.

But then again, it’s rare for the admins to create custom mobs, they did one for the Halloween event but even that was (I don’t mean to offend) amateur or just as a test.

It would cause lag also considering that the Kraken is so big in legend & fact.

If I were you, encourage ship battles or whatever so you could possibly be a threat on the sea, but if that isn’t so, make some op enemies, they tend to float through the water in invis spells, not as big as a Kraken, but definitely makes you s**t yourself.

maybe we could do it like the halloween event, summoning it with inc sacs or something, but everything would be underwater!

admins could claim it and make it pvp or pve whenever they wanted to :3

yep, captain that’s a good idea.

It could be an event, not a thing which is on the server for ever.

But now and then the PirateCraft Krakens could ‘migrate’ to PirateCraft for their annual feeding periods maybe?

Admins could do something similar to the herobrine event where they created a custom boss in the form of an armored zombie but in this case, it coould be a sea monster (guardian) with op attacks or what not.
That or Staff could have an event where they just summon a crap ton of elder guardians

Hello guys. Today I’m releasing you this totally new plugin. Basically it spawns a squid which is a Kraken, with ultimate powers!
What is a Kraken? It’s a squid, with an own attacking/protecting AI. I have found many solutions for these. There is a given chance that Krakens will spawn in the world, and It notifies the player if the Kraken is near. You shall run, or fight! Only cowards, but smart run, since you just cannot kill a kraken without tactic or good equipment! Putting lava at the kraken, and It will spread water! You cannot kill it with TNT, or with fire. Block suffocation won’t help, the blocks will explode, without killing anyone. It can also deflect arrows! Killing a Kraken will give you goods, which you can set in the config! Prepaire for a great boss fight!
Lot’s of options are going to be up, to make an awesome dungeon! I’m going to release it soon!

On a side note, this plugin listed below would be extremely awesome if we ever got a new world on a branch-off server or whatever. What do you think about this plugin (IslandCraft) @GodsDead ?
