PirateCraft, what will we do with our current End world when we eventually update to 1.9? Will we completely reset it? Will we work around the pre-existing claims (like Markusi13’s lovely little house) and only edit/interfere with what we have to? I’m curious to see how our great staff are planning to handle this. Aside from working around current claims/structures, I see one problem. The new end portal that transports you to the second End dimension could easily be claimed and blocked off by a single player; so, when we do update, can we make an admin claim at the site of the “second dimension portal” to allow everyone to get a chance to travel to the new dimension? I’m just trying to think ahead for the community. Please reply with your thoughts and ideas about the future of PirateCraft’s End 🙂 Thanks.

I’ve alredy made preparations…the border should be expanded (allot) as the other dimention is actually another end island in the end not another end dimention.i don’t knowif its a random location is just know that its always far away so maybe copy and paste the island next to the other island and make a brige that will take you there? maybe make an end sea to give it more of a pirtacraft feel XD.

I’m pretty sure there is a new dimension. And there isn’t just one extra island, there are hundreds.

wount hundreds of dimentions lag the server? normaly in a single player world it wount be much (as most single player worlds go up too 10 people :/ when opening lam) but in a multiplayer server wount that makes tons of lag….

well, the islands can be as big as 6×6 to more than 200 blocks on surface. i say that the border should be very big, considering that there are end dungeons. something will have to be done about the chorus plants as well, if u have been in the snapshot u know what i mean 🙂 also i know for a fact that the end will not be pretty because of said islands because, well, they are islands with the Void as water-

Solid… hundreds of islands, not dimensions. Please read carefully before you make a comment. In fact… just stop commenting please.

CaptainCrackerz I agree, chorus fruit and it’s teleporting abilities would be wayyyy to OP and it’d be way too easy to get into people’s bases using it.

Solid I assume that people are competent enough to know what they are talking about when they reply to something. You obviously haven’t looked at the snapshot, so you are basing your claims about 1.9 only off of what rumors you’ve heard. I’ll make it simple: unless you have something helpful to say, please don’t say anything at all.

dude….I’ve used the snapshots!(like from day 1) i have used the ender dragon head in my shield slot,haed and hand so I would look like a dinosaur….I discoevered with out looking it up that if you’re not pointing at a near block and have a sword in you’re shield slot and a block or item in you’re other hand the sword would work a a shield….I also know that if you make a creeper face with clay on the end you summon the enderdragon…I made the dragon head move with redstone.I was one of the first people to use the first snapshot and even found a glicht with the dragon spawning (if you go far away off the island and then come back another dragon would spawn in the first snaphot I don’t know if this has been pacht or not) so just because I dint know the ender islands were in another dimention dosent mean I’ve gotten all my info from rumors….all I wanted was to give a “helful” idea. wich btw is: to have the islands all in the same dimention and connect them with briges…..instead of having to make a new /trust that lest u use ender pearls in an admin claim….you over looked my idea…..

Thanks for fully explaining instead of leaving me hanging. Idk about bridges though, it’d make travel just a little too easy. It needs to be somewhat difficult/vanilla IMO

so if I’m not wrong there is no /trust that allows a player too use enderpearls in a persons claim ( “rumors” say its too avoid glicing in bases ) so why not copy all the is land from the “new dimention” and the one by one past them into the “old end” put them in a distance of 150 blocks maybe? and then connect them with briges. now this would avoid players having to teleport to end island) island by end island too get to the guy who lives in one of them ( I assume that there are diferent portals for each island ). and maybe just as a small perk we could make a small sea or oceon on a artificial end island (I don’t think this would get added I just like thinking of an iternal dark sea…..)

update: I dint see saraps last comment as I was writing it so if it looks kind of off its because of that……

Possible technical solution would be adding new end and leaving old one as /warp oldend. Or reset.

There is nothing worth saving on the current end, so It will be regenerated when we move to 1.9. 🙂

So anything you have there should be taken into the main world 🙂
