    @dorkito101 all you have said has been mentioned allready also in other related forums we agreed to make it a 3 shop system in isolated islands close to biomes or in biomes :/ @athenmos12 can explain much better .

    on a side note. B.E. does not control all snow biomes just the big ones there are lots of small or medium size snow biomes out there.

    @godsdead It’s a good idea, we should combine what ideas and work I, CallieMav, Ma_c_hi, you and anyone have been working on on the Dev server one day, enabling/disabling permissions for WorldGaurd areas can be set for the areas around the NPC Shops.

     

    And we can take it a step further, so players CAN achieve these “Special” trade items through in game activities, (planting, mining, etc.), however the regions where these items can be found will have a border where tp and tp-related commands are disabled. This also contributes to the idea of the major powers in the world competing for resource caches, much like Trade Co.’s did in the 1600’s and so on. However I think this is getting a bit ahead of ourselves, and we must first test the very basics of the idea: non-teleportable and non-vanilla attainable items which need to be bought and sold for potential profit.

    I’ve been re-reading some of the older posts and you bring up a good point.

    Rum and Liquor is already a “custom” item that we have on the server, an I think mayhaps that it can be sold through the new sign/chest shop system, so if we were to replicate the drinks, but for common items, for example going back to the Sand-Glass scenario I gave in my first post.

    The sand from Town A (Valyria) is called Valyrian Sand, and the Glass from Town B (Winterfell) is called Winterfell Glas, and thus, the creative naming of the “custom” items discourages player from using them otherwise then to sell in the trade system, since they can’t be used to craft, which takes out the worry some of us have about players gaming the system for cheap goods. It would be even better if we were not to use blocks, but rather non-place-able, and renamed items, such as the various brewing stand ingredients, etc.

    @dorkito you do know deckhands could just work as guards for the merchants or work for pirates and recived either parts of the traid or a share of the loot!

    @dr-solid the map could be available via /kit map or something.

    Also I really like this idea, but I think we should make NPC towns in each N,W,S,E warps and still have the $15 charge at them. That way it forces the player to choose whether they wanna sail to them or pay up…

    dude no tp means no tp 15 is relitively easy to get (like super easy,like just mine for 2 hours and you could pay 1000 times…) i dont want any tp in the new world.but its the admins who deside that.but as i said plz dont comment on this forum or the admins will close it as its very old….
