Stuck at loading terrain

Have been at my base location for over 3 yrs. Recently I have been getting DC, then when I try to log back in it says loading terrain.. Most of the time it says I’ve timed out. Connection lost. Sometimes I can actually log in but nothing is loading around me. I cannot use the chat in game or open any chests. It may allow me to be logged in for 2 min then it will timeout again. Please help. If you have had this problem before, what has fixed it? I tried to warp out but commands don’t work when I am able to log in.
