Right, for some reason whenever I try to join the server, it says that the server is outdated.
However, looking at the forum thread I thought this problem has been resolved. I’m running the latest minecraft, so I doubt the problem is at my end please help.

We had to backdate minecraft to 1.6.2 because 1.6.4 is so piss poor it cant stay alive longer than an hour without crashing into a burning mess!! So this is something you have to change your end! Which is a big shame, as most people, including yourself have updated to 1.6.4!
Easy fix, you can tell minecraft to load 1.6.2 from the minecraft launcher before you start the game! 🙂

Actually I fixed this by playing with the minecraft forge profile, while still using 1.6.2
Weird huh?
