Serious claim glitch

The day after The Admin was on and building bridges with a lot of people, and either he or someone else blocked of my door and took my signs down, someone still had the power to jump claims and has robbed me blind.

I’m not some noob with a dirt house whining about losing their stone sword, this was an established claim, built with siege proof iron bars and stone brick and iron doors. Also, I was not sieged and left or killed, there was no clue this was going on until I check to day and tons of very expensive, rare and difficult to get material is missing. I’ve been working on a place to help people out for weeks and I feel like I’m getting s**t on. It’s bad enough I had to shut down, and now some a**face sneaks in and empties out my chests. Is there something going on here? I can’t directly say for sure, but that very same day I was watching the map while digging and Zee_King_Bee was in my ex-shop and it looked from the map like he was in the protected back room. I could be wrong here, but PLEASE, if you have given him special permission to jump a claim, please remove it. That totally takes all the fun out this server if someone has the power to just wipe everybody out of their hard work without even earning it through good old honest PVP or siege.

I really like this server, and don’t want to be banned for my rant, but come on.

It’s also possible that someone did the door glitch to get into your “siege proof” claim. You’d better get a mod to have a look at your claim in-game. For that you need to post the coordinates of your shop at the very least.

I’m sorry, but from the looks of this, you are accusing the people godsy trusted with the building of bridges.

Not gonna lie, it really does look like you are accusing Godsdead, the admin in red, or anyone of the people who were helping him. Which is compltly unfounded, based on the fact we only have WorldGuard perms, fly until such a point as we logged off, and materials for as long as godsy was online. We can’t “bypass claims” as you are suggesting.

I’ll let the admins sort it out if it is a case of glitches, but still, the idea that someone trusted with perms would abuse them and raid you is rather ludicrous, especially when those perms have nothing to do with your claim.

As a word of advice, post co-ords in future.

I honestly dont know what happened there, but i want to mention another big problem.

there is another really big claim error, if you have a claim near or right next to bedrock it might happens that your claim disappears.

this happened to me twice, once when i was mining there with some crew members and they can proof it, they suddenly were able to break blocks which were not in the subclaim.

the second time was when i got raided from witcher secon and koi. Bad timing and bad luck.

i just want to mention this problem since one of our leaders had the same problems once (i think it was either michty or captaincrackerz)

Any technical information? Like what do you expect if you give no information at all, I can’t do anything as you haven’t told me anything at all. You haven’t even given the position of your base, you could pm me this, a lot of the time it’s something overlooked in security. Your title is garbage and makes me angry. It’s most likely not a serious claim glitch at all. You NEED go post how it was done.

I’m sorry you are upset by the title, but there is some kind of problem, and I will try to be a little clearer. I’m just a bit upset myself after weeks of hard work going down the drain.

The coordinates are: -656,65,-725

So, the time line (or series of events are this:

1 – get notice that my shop needs to be closed

2 – see that my signs are gone and my door is gone and nether brick stones in its place

3 – I remove the store signs to comply

4 – everything seems ok and I notice the activity mentioned above

5 – I’m doing some late night digging – no where near my shop, but keeping an eye on the map

6 – someone comes snooping around in my building, but by the map, looks like they’ve gone farther than they should, but not being sure, I check – everything seems fine and secure

7 – I log off – again never was in siege or pvp’d

8 – come back the next day and half my stuff is gone

9 – have to log off due to stuff going on IRL

10 – check back and even more stuff is gone – while I was away

so, what happened? is it a glitch in the claim, is it an abuse of permission? I don’t know, hence the question. Neither one of which is good.

Again, its not like I left and left the door or wall open – which would be just me being careless and then, just shame on me. If I lose my stuff in a siege, that’s on me for not having a good enough base – no hard feeling, I’ll do better next time. But, this isn’t the case.

The other day you were upset that someone didn’t notify you of a problem in the server. So I am notifying you so that this doesn’t happen to someone else.

There’s no way to prove anything, or ever get the stuff back, and I’m not asking for it.

I am sorry for the tone and the rant. Please accept my apology, but I think anyone would be very annoyed if this happened to them, and given the series of coincidences, may wonder what is going on.

Again, this is just a concern that I thought I could bring to you, I am not accusing you of anything.

@Kanube Ahhh so you were the one that built a shop at the spawn exit! I just blocked off the door so nobody could get in.

I assume someone glitched in and you didn’t have any of your chests protected with blocks on top?

Yep, that was me. Okay, so lesson learned, I’ll be sure and ask first next time if its not in a standard area. Also, yeah, I didn’t have the chests locked because I thought they would be protected unless I lost a siege or pvp. So, again, lesson learned, but it would be great if there wasn’t that glitch, but I’ll try and fix my chests.

On a side note, if you need people to help build this town at east spawn, then I’d be happy to help.

If I get a chance, Ill come on and take a look to see if there was another point of entry. Its best to always put a block on top of chests to protect them, Minecraft is buggy by design which allows people to Tp through blocks, anyone caught doing this will be banned, sadly there is no fix as its a bug with minecraft itself.
