I think that it would be better for the server if items were refunded if they are lost unfairly to any server issues or glitches that couldn’t be predicted or avoided. It would better the server because there is very little harm to refund items and it will keep people from loosing items they spent a lot of time and work into getting. Of course evidence would have to be provided to get the item back as to avoid people lying, but if fairly proven by a player who likely had the item(no deckies with treat blades) it should be refunded. Even if staff are tricked into accidentally giving out a non-deserved item it’s not that bad of price for making Pmc a better server.

Thanks for suggesting this, but I’m going to deny it and explain why we don’t refund lost items in *most* cases.
Most interactions with staff are about trust – We trust that you’re reporting the truth so we can fairly moderate. With items that are lost, it is extremely hard to do this and know that the players that are reporting a glitch/bug aren’t lying. Most rules are put in place not because we don’t trust you but because there’s always one person who takes advantage, and ruins it for everyone.
What I’m trying to say here is: ‘there is very little harm to refund items’ – This isn’t true. People are human, they’ll find a way to get items without much effort and it damages our faith in the server and the server’s faith in the staff team to moderate properly.
Now there are some cases in which lost items can be refunded – but these are very few and far between – The recent example of mystic’s balance being deleted is a good one to look at.
