/rankup bugged

I got gunner recently but instead of the usual doing /rankup and it showing my requirements for boatswain, It wants me to choose a path to either boatswain, firstmate, or quartermaster. It says I can see the prereqs or results of choosing any of those but if I try to see the requirements it says i’m not allowed. It also still lists me as carpenter in chat. I did kit gunner rankup but cant do kit gunner.

all donators have this bug

it’s been known for years, no idea if it will ever be fixed

you will just have to wait until your donator rank expires

He isn’t a donator, although he’s getting the same message a donator would be getting if they ranked up while being a donor
