Does anyone know how to increase the range of a cannonball to make it go over 1000 blocks?

From my experience with factions.. you would need someone standing in unloaded chunks that the cannon ball would pass through in order for this to hit your target 1000 blocks away.

Though certainly firing a weapon capable of that distance would be so expensive tnt wise so I would’t be able to fire a lot.

I actually have tried this a bit and with the ships plugin if you build a cannon at world height you can fire much much farther. Currently I have been able to go up and nearly hit someone who was on the main land from where my island is.
