[proxy] Lost Connection to Server

I changed server to Creative and did /plot auto to find an open plot. As soon as I did, I was booted from the server and after restarts, etc. I keep getting the message [proxy] lost connection to server. I don’t know that it is correlated, but I can’t help but think it is my connection to creative. Can I be respawned in survival, somehow?

This happens when you use later versions of Minecraft on creative, if you use above 1.12.2 it corrupts the player.dat. please use 1.12.2 when using creative.
