    Avast a new plugin i have found.

    The disease plugin adds disease temperature ETC into you peaceful mine craft world. Craft vaccines. Biological weapons ETC (can be configed).  Make doctor signs to help yourself and create remedies.

    This plugin would mess with the whole server mechanics and change the survival feel to the map. With this people would spend all their time making medicine.

    I do see where you are coming from but all diseases / rates can be configured.

    I also think this would make it more realistic because of disease people got in pirate ships ETC.

    I do think it may be hard for new people to start but then again protection to diseases as well as the /cure command which may be used if configed to an extent.

    I’m pretty sure I’ve played on a server with a very similar sounding plugin, it had a disease called yellow fever I think and u did /health to view everything, I too think it could potentially fit in as pirates aren’t the healthiest of people usually

    Yeah i believe that is this pluggin. /Health gives you stats on your Minecraft character like with disease diognosis, temperatures ETC.

    Oh! you predicted a future event! We have been talking about implementing a Disease plugin for a while (years). we are yet to test one on the test server.

    The one I was looking at spread Disease through animals, so you had to heal your animals, this ones is more related to the player and changes the survival aspect, which may be too drastic for new players to understand. People have these infinite farms, that give them infinite food, which means survival is stupidly easy, I was thinking of doing an event with Disease that spreads between players/animals to infect animals, maybe players..

    I used to play this pluggin on another server (a minecraft/real life/earth).

    It drastically changed the experience for the better and brought a new unheard aspect of minecraft to the server.

    you could always make it so people randomly get sick in the event 😛

    @Godsdead I think that if diseases are added they should be relatively uncommon with the ones that occur most often are ones that are just caused by nutrition deficiency caused by a lack of a varied diet. Also the medicines should be like a light beer or water with a trace cyanide, with cyanide being obtained from apples since apple seeds contain small portions of cyanide. Or just eating a bunch of apples I guess, I mean they aren’t that easy to get. Also you can always just raise food saturation. Disease should be predictably preventable. There should be only one form of biological weapon, loading lots of rotten flesh or loading a pluggin byproduct of rotten flesh into a cannon and firing it at the person’s base during siege as this would be the only form of biological weaponry available during the age of pirates. The disease would take a few minutes to kick in and would affect the player/players within the base. The sieged player/players would have to stalk up on medicine for this particular situation. However this disease should eventually spread to the siegers if they are not careful during the siege and they will also have to bring medicines to deal with it. However the siegers would be affected at a slower rate. If the siegers really want to stay then they could bring in cargo ships or mules to carry more medicine so they can siege for a longer period time. When the siege ends the disease would go away and medicine would no longer be needed. This would set limits on how long a sieger could siege for depending on how much medicine they have. And with disease with animals I think it should also be uncommon and that should only cause the animals to become unable to breed until they are healthy.

    Sorry if that is immature, but the point is, make the disease rate for animals increasingly high.

    On another note, for animal disease, how would it be activated? Would it be environment, food, etc.

    Could it be health related? By that I mean by other means than disease?

    I played on a server once where if you fell from a high place, it would “break” your legs and give you slowness II, or I depending on the height. Maybe something with blindness? Either way, i think a plugin like this would be great on a pirate themed server 😀
