I think that the “event” should be in some way connected to the number three in order to properly commemorate this important date, and some kind of server – wide quest type thing would be fantastic. I think it would be great if it were not dissimilar to an adventure map, if only at the beginning when the quest is “introduced” to players. Perhaps we could be given an ingame map as part of a special kit, and by scouring the live map we need to find the area on the server it is of. Then, at this area is a place where you can get a second map, or a riddle or suchlike. Essentially, the idea boils down to a sort of scavenger hunt with three important locations to find within the server – clues leading to them including maps, riddles and perhaps quest objective type things. After that, at the end of all this whoever completes the trail will find either loot or will be awarded a temporary rank.
