New Sub Blocks

So I was thinking. Subs right now are kind of well… dull. Only being able to use stone brick as our only shall we say “wood” on subs isn’t a lot of fun. With regular ships we have lots of different wood types to use which allows us to think outside the box. Being able to use stuff like prismarine bricks and dark prismarine as a different “brick” in subs would help us make some really unusual subs.

I know players can get both dark prismarine and prismarine bricks from market and other warps along with from players. It would also blend with the water around it and would make an interesting war vessel. I don’s know if this is possible or if a new sub type can be made for that but I personally think it would be great. I’ve also asked some people around the server and they say it would be cool to have that. I attached some screen shots of a fast sub I made just to give an idea of what it may look like.

You don’t have to use stone brick as “wood” for a sub; you can use many other things like Stained Clay and quartz for the 50% that is needed as “wood”, and there are even more choices that you can have for 45% of the sub. I do agree with the idea of adding prismarine to the list as it would make for really cool subs on the server.

I think I once brought this up and you told me it was a horrible idea because people could somehow attach their submarines to ocean monuments and drag them or something like that? Same went for sandstone ships…even though sandstone is UNDER sand.

So, that means ships and subs will get stuck on sea temples, and will be able to pick them up?

I think that most definitely ocean monuments over the limit pf 600 blocks. As for people getting stuck to them, how would ya do that even? It would take some slightly bad driving to do that and most ocean monuments have been claimed and made into farms by people across the server.
