NCP too strict

i was playing around w/ some old event items (frostie blade and a beautiful gem) which both grant bonus speed effects and at the time i also had speed 2 active and NCP was preventing me from moving because i’m going too fast. you need to give some leeway to the max speed for NCP, otherwise these items are unusable while speed 2 is active (literally cannot move).

this second point is a little more acceptable but still very annoying. anyways, i’m a very fast builder and when i’m building sometimes blocks i place constantly disappear after placing them because “i’m placing them too fast”. of course this is caused by NCP to prevent cheaters from using macros or other hacks to build very quickly. so i’m just suggesting you add a little more leeway to this as well.

if you’re using something else or not a plugin (IDK what you would be using otherwise) forgive me for referring to your your anti-cheat as NCP.

Hey yausoku

Were not using NCP.

I am aware of the custom items flagging, but for the very, very small amount of people that do have custom event items, its a bit of a piss take to ask to have the entire speed variable more relaxed just for a few custom items.. I would MUCH prefer stopping speed hacks from people using hacked clients than allow literally a handful of people use speed on weapons.

Now I did mention I’m aware of this, I did report this to the developer a few months ago, and since then the plugin has been rewritten for movement catching, and its actually having certain bugs squashed at present. Im using an old version of the anti cheat as there was a lot of new bugs released in his rewrite (as there would be with something so fickle)

I suggest, you are just patient. As when he does release his bug fix update, then i will be upgrading and using a whole new config for the anti cheat (We have a paid config made for us thats in use on 400+ servers).

please be patient with the developer to get his bug fixes complete, then once thats out we can fine tune it.
