lost playtime

Hey just wanted to let someone knowthat the player time loss bug is still biting. I lost 3 hours last nigh to this afternoon. I’ve attached sceens of the play logs from last night and this afternoon
I was close to having te 24 hours needed for Gunner rank so its only a small setback and not a huge deal since I used all my xp the other day. So I still need to come with the 80 xp to rank 🙂
This is just a heads up since I have seen a few others with the same issue lately.
Its very odd, as we have used the same stats recorder for 2 years? and only recently people are reporting issues. I assume its how spigot has updated, make sure to log off and not let yourself get kicked at restart, is that how it happened?
Yeah I got kicked right around midnight so I just closed up and went to bed. I got the “connection force closed….” message. I didn’t have time to log out. I wonder though if I had just logged back in and the logged out normally if that would have helped.
I dont guess there’s an autosave. The time that it reverted to was the intial play time I had when I started playing last night. So it seems to default back to the last save.
I’ve been kicked several times today so i’ll check and see if any playtime today saved. I agree though it seems wierd that all other stats remain correct. My money balance stayed correct and I had just sold some gold to buy xp minuets before the kick.
Anyway it’s not a big deal if all I lost was a bit of playtime. I’ll make it up later.
Well it kept the time right after this last kick a couple of hours ago. I was finally able to log back in a second ago and checked and it was at 20 hr 41 min which is what it should be for today since it started me at 19 hr.
Really seems to just be a random thing which makes it almost impossible to track down.

I got a reply from the developer, he said it auto saves every 10 seconds, so that throws my theory out the window of it happening on reset, I wonder if it looses connection to the database, they are on separate machines… or are all stats bar time-played being saved?
Do you think it could be a client side internet issue? Egypt ranks dead last in the world when it comes to internet speed and quality.
At home where i was playing last night the connection is terrible. 1.5 mbs on the best day but is always fluctuating at lower speeds. Plus my wife normally watches netflix while I play or at least trying to.
This was the only time I’ve noticed it happening but I only pay attention to the stats when I think I’m close to the next rank to see if I can move it along.
If there is anything I could do to help let me know. Not really a programmer but could scan logs or test stuff.

@OdiwanKenobi You do not know what you are saying “Check the script”. These are the kind of stupid time wasting replys that postpone anything actually being done, my previous reply before you posted actually explains everything you are “asking”.
Welp! Bringing this post back from the dead because our good friend Silverstone47 has lost his playtime. I believe he used to have more than just 4 days of playtime on this server…
4 days! The stats plugin is a piece of shit. He can get any mod/admin to fix it in-game, is the best way.
