So this is becoming a daily thing here in MC. let me tell you what happend me and juice were in a fight, i died he stayed in the same spot. i geared up fast and did a /back he is mad because i did the /back to fight, he did not pick up my items as he was just standing in the same spot. This is the result of me returning to fight. when i /backed he ran and started to cuss at me. all the logs can be send to a admin as requested. This is all resulting of me backing to fight some more. I have checked the forums and web site for rules saying you cannot do this and am not able to find anything. For the players who would like to read the rules here is the link.

April 18, 2016 at 11:20 pm #32960I apologize to the server for causing a disturbance and swearing. It was childish and I should know better as their are kids playing, that was way out of order.
I however do not apologize to souldin1. The second I killed him he starting saying things like “you’re the worst PvP’er ever” and raging almost as much as me.
The reason for my raging was him using /back to retrieve the stuff i got when i killed him. I thought this was against the rules hence why i reacted in this way ^^. You really should know better than to be pulling these petty tactics Souldin, you’re in CoV who are supposed to be the best, and like myself you’re older than most. Never have i killed someone in CoV and they have used /back… you are the first.

April 19, 2016 at 7:41 am #32972/back is to be used after falling from a tree, or a cliff. That’s known as PVE, or Person Vs Environment. Using /back to retrieve your stuff after a death in the wilderness is the reason /back is given to donators.
Using /back after dying as a result of PVP, to retrieve your items or to further attack that person, is NOT allowed. Using it is wrong, as it gives donators an insane advantage, and completely ruins the idea that once you have killed a person, that fight is over for them, finished. As it is, you kill a person, and they either tp back instantly, or wait a few hours until you’re busy, and strike again.
My two pet hates on this server, and I say this as someone who has had BOTY rank and Captain, is that /back and /near are far to OP, and defeat the object of a balanced and strategic fight. /near renders many effective traps and maneuverers obsolete, and with our new invisibility mechanics on Piratecraft, I believe it should be up for urgent review.
/back dismisses the idea that when you die, you lose your stuff. That’s an inherent part of minecraft, that death leads to you losing what you had on you at the time (generally speaking) and so you need to work again to get that stuff again. /back ruins this, and means that donators can die on the offensive, and then a number of seconds, minutes, or even hours later, begin the offensive again when you are unawares. Again, it is far to OP, and we need to consider removing it.

April 19, 2016 at 10:12 am #32977I don’t mind PVE for /back, but if /back is removed, I think I’ll quit piratecraft, it’s removing taps and all that. If I’m paying 30 bucks just to get a kit, that’s not something I wanna do, and would have better luck without it. I like /back as many people know. And it doesn’t make an unfair fight. It just changes the way you think. I killed donators after they used /back, it’s their fault if they wanna give me an extra head. I do think /back should have like a go there wait.
like if you do /back, you need to wait 20 seconds.

April 19, 2016 at 3:04 pm #32989We’ve gone over this again and again in many different posts. The fact is: /Back is never going to be removed. Godsy stated it, MC’s stated it, the entire mod core has said it over and over again. So let’s stop bringing up the ‘remove /back’ this is getting as bad as gravedigging old posts.

He happened to get his stuff because in the time he was gone from respawning and getting his gear and stuff he needed to fight it had been left on the ground still. He didn’t get all of his stuff either. Juice got his bow and his sword and a chest plate. He had left the rest of it on the ground. I do agree we shouldn’t /back to get our stuff but he really did go back to fight. It was in the chat logs for everyone to read. Souldin said come fight me boy and several other things trying to get juice to fight him. If he just wanted his stuff he would have /back grabbed his stuff and ran.

Everyone knows that juice runs around with a mostly full inventory with spare god and pots and what not like most players who PVP. and after speaking to some people. i notice when i did go back to fight IN A FULL SET OF GOD, only a couple items were on the ground, witch mostly means i bet juice inventory was full and could not pick up every item. witch is his fault and his fault only. i know with everything i had on me i was closed to a full inventory. So end the end next time make sure you have room to pick things up, because most people WILL come back to fight that’s what PVP is, Juice you are one to do it to, you have came back to fight in the battles we have had over the last 2 weeks all of your crew and my crew come back to the fights to keep fighting its what we have all ways done. Now juice if this upset you in some way this maybe you should not /back to a fight anymore because there is a chance you will pick your items and it may not be on purpose because you /back to were you died. Witch is the issue at hand. Now i want everything to think about what was just said and ask yourself have i /backed in a large fight YES YOU HAVE i can name alot of players who have done this including SOLIS members. This whole issue is BS and until rules are on this website stop enforcing things you have no clue about. This is NOT your server it is gods server i will respect any rules he has down as so should you.
