I fully support the idea of a kingdom (or more pointedly an organization) dedicated to keeping the peace. I think this would work best as a guild instead of a kingdom in general; players working together to keep things peaceful between themselves AND other players.
Please don’t name this the peacekeepers, thats so overdone @_@
Also I have stone bricks aplenty for this project; and can get much more if anyone would like to donate coal; as we have TONS of stone from the canal project just waiting to be smelted.
@tom I know we’d spoken in the past of a potential plugin allowing you to choose pvp or peaceful; and I know you had said that that was likely a long way away, as it was hard finding one that would integrate well with the current plugins. That being said, (once the guild/kingdom is setup) how hard would it be to make the entire area a pvp free claim? Whether admin or player claim and if admin claim, we could potentially each ‘pay’ an amount of claim blocks from our own accounts. The idea is (if admin claim is the only one possible to be pvp free like spawn) involved players will be essentially giving up their claim blocks as trade for admin blocks; simply so they can be pvp free. I think, until we can get a plugin to allow players to coexist peacefully if they prefer that, maybe just setting up one big town where people can live or trade pvp free might appease alot of non pvp players, and even give pvp players a place to rest knowing they wont be hunted by their enemies. </longpost>
