Is team speak any good?

I do not believe you would call this “spam”. Purely a question, a few days ago Ventura and ae0 told me to join a team speak, I want to get team speak but I don’t want to have to buy a microphone to get it to work. I also don’t want to speak with foul mouthed barnacle brains. I would also like to know, is it like an Xbox Live chat party and can you use the headset as a microphone? Is there web-cam because I hate them and is there a voice changer on there to muffle up people’s voices. Concealing ones identity will come in handy later in life, so will anyone give me a straight forward answer and give me a rough idea of the cost it would be to do this type of thing on an Apple MacBook and give me a straight forward idea of the language on there. I don’t want to speak Spanish and I don’t want to hear any cussing or abuse like so many of us have felt on the chat inside of Minecraft.

You can’t conceal you identity, but you can chat using headsets and typing, in secure channels, or in private messaging. It’s a much easier way of communicating outside the game.

Its pretty self explanatory: Team-Speak, but other than that its basically the server chat but with voice instead of typing.

well i didnt have to buy a microphone, my computer has a built-in one, since its a laptop, i just had to clean it up a bit since it was dirty 😛

Don’t all macs have a built in mic? I’m not sure, but I think you should have one already built in. Can’t really muffle your voice/scramble it, unless you want to buy a scrambler or hold a pillow to your face when you talk, lol. I personally haven’t been on this servers team speak yet, so I don’t know about the language. However, teamspeak is often useful, as you can quickly and easily coordinate with others in realtime, so I suggest you do get it.
