Before someone else asks “why aren’t staff closing this post?”:

1. The only reason why would feel it necessary to close it is due to the choice of language used, but people have apologized so I’ll look over that
2. I’d rather have it happen here, on the forums, a place where drama has always existed and will always exist, than via some discord group whereby staff have little to no control
3. Let people get it all out of their system, I’ll only close it if things go tits up

For people on either ‘side’ of this drama:

• When people get worked up, they say some dumb shit and regret it later on – don’t be the ones to hold the grudge, everyone does it
• If you say some dumb shit, have the decency to apologize

This is why I made a NAP with the BE, so that none of them try to attack me.

I feel like this forum post is less of an important message, but more of a way to trashtalk each other without having to do it on the server – sort of like embarrassing each other so everybody can see. I really don’t want to get caught in this drama, but when I was in the BE, I never thought there would ever be taxes or anything… No offense but I just don’t like that idea at all.

Hmm… I just realized that Empires cannot work because players want to have fun – and if you stand at the lowest point in the governmental hierarchy is not fun at all.
