I searched first to see if anyone had the same problem but could not find anything.

Recently the /sc and /subclaim command have not been working for me. It will report that the command is not known (“shiver me timbers …”).
I might have missed one update report – how does one manage subclaim permissions now ?

Please help out an aging barnacle that can’t find his way !

I think the command is /subdivideclaims, not one of the ones you’ve listed.

You found a bug! looks like /sc was overwritten by a new staff plugin, I should be able to fix that.

    use /SubdivideClaims for now.
/subclaim has never existed, but I could make a alias for that to work.

On the subject of claims, last night, gildor and I couldn’t find where it stated how many claimblocks are lost when a claim is removed. I also noticed how /abandonclaim needs only be typed once for a claim to go; I always thought it was twice, to prevent any accidents?

    Just curious.

Update: on next reload it should force /sc to use the GriefPrevention SubdivideClaims instead of the admin tools 🙂

how long have you been playing here Crazy? Its been the same since day 1! haha It’s done on a ratio, so you get back 0.9 when you Abandon a claim, so I guess thats 90% you get back? is percent and ratio the same?

I also created /subclaim as an alias for the reboot.

As for the conformation on /abandonclaim its quite a long command to type, its not like you can type it by accident, I think its abandon ALL claims it asks you twice? I wouldn’t suggest testing it. (I can test it locally if you want)

It’s okay, I’ll remember not to do it.

I always thought you’d type the command, it’d come up telling you ‘are you sure, you’ll lose x claimblocks’

I’ve been here too long, I’m getting senile.

Thank you so much @GodsDead for that awesome immediate fix.

Wow I didn’t know that you lost claim locks when you abandoned claims. So I guess it it better to shrink your claim manually to as small as possible before you abandon it?

    Sigh

Didn’t consider that, The idea is to stop abuse and people creating claims temporarily in battles etc, and to work with eco. Maybe I need to make it 80% then if people are doing this.
