Alright, I don’t usually report people on here because I’d like to give people chances to improve over time..
I have not seen any chance of change in behaviour from jetty tho, and mind you, this “conflict” if you will, actually started out in the beginning of me acquiring my warp back in.. Idk, summer 2014?
Now the problem is that jettyman(back then), now Jettystrafes, has been feeling the urge to plunder me in my warp every so often, whenever he saw a chance to do so. He would warp in quickly, kill me in a split second, while I was managing shop and quickly escape to his hideout (siege proof brick box, yay).
I’ve seen many alike, yes.. but none really quite like him, because he still to this day does it every time he sees me online he goes in the warp, kills me bam and run for cover in his box. Is it fair? I don’t think so.. I’ve tried many times to get to him, but it never succeeds..
It doesn’t stop with only attacking me no.. He attacks anyone who ventures into my warp and do that same thing he does with me. It has gone so far that I would even call it abuse of the plugin – and yes, I’m sure he is 100% aware of this too.
It’s so very annoying to be harrassed in a way like this. Many people say, yeah but you are OP because you own a warp, but let me ask – How is it OP to be forced to run around vulnerable in a town with NO pvp protection, no walls no doors, no nothing to protect me from anyone who sees their hatred towards me and suddenly stealthy warps in and cuts my throat?
I get sieged too and I lose stuff too, a lot if you might ask.. But jetty is not the one who steals it all, never has been, never will be, because I never run around with anything valuable on me when I’m managing shops. I lose stuff in battles and r off into the wild, so why jetty keeps attacking the same way for one year straight, is a mystery to me.. I see the trade town as a community thing.. to try and bring offers to the server so that it’s easier to obtain items, let other players sell goods or buy them even. I really think it’s a shitty attitude to have to think the traders of the server are the bad ones, just because our balances might be bigger than most.. We take great risks! and we also lose a lot of stuff sometimes, I sure know I have lost a lot! I also work hard, it has not been easy at all.. I’ve worked my way up and I still see people who are waaay wealthier than me, so stop saying I’m OP.. It’s common sense not to abuse the warp just to get easy kills, we have arenas for that kind of Pvp..
I guess this is more than just a report directed towards jetty, but it’s also because I want to bring focus around the merchants of the server not being OP or benign the other players, we don’t think we are and it certainly doesn’t feel that way either, so it would be nice to not get all the “oh but u r so rich and evil” crap that I hear now and then, more so recently…

Pirate server, not a merchant server. Nothing wrong with killing people.
December 15, 2015 at 9:14 pm #25161Bislo I would like to say I agree with you that some players are quiet over doing it and I hate the whole idea of tping in and insta tping out and as a warp killer I would like to say that you need people to protect your warps decause the current system isn’t working at all I’d love for this ideal town you have in mind where traders are and we all role play happily and bandits only live outside of the wall but sadly that cant happen the best thing to do is stop with warps as only bad things come from them to make a warp a safe place is extremely hard especially in the way pirate craft is right now with death and chaos being a popular way to live

But everyone does not get this I guess, you realize that Killing in shops is a player rule.
(2end)……. Harrasment? are you saying that me killing you is Harrasment. just No. Ive killed you only a few times but I think killing you is not harrasment. I kill you and run is that a rule that I did not hear/see. Because I kill and run all the time and people get mad. I can kill and run and tpa away if I want.

That’s not the case in the real pirate world, so stop stating that just because it is a pirate server, then that means all chaos is ok, because pirate.. Pirates where hunted, they often only attacked merchant vessels in remote locations, I’ve never heard of an incident where a pirate has just walked into a populated city and started a killing spree, where do you get it from?? Pirates of the Caribbean?
I also don’t say BAN pvp, I say jetty is continuously harassing me and then running into siege proofness.. just like you do actually, Elex, so funny thing you would come here to stand up for him, I’m not surprised.
And No koi, I will not close the warp, sorry.. If some people wish to ruin my warp then go right ahead, but don’t expect me to just stand around and let it happen, that’s why this post. I’ve always fought for the trade zones, back in the earlier times I even defended several of them with much success, but i cannot stand against all the donators that have recently risen to power with little intentions of peace on the server.. All I hear about is war, cutting each others throats and murdering for no reason.. Just keep the trouble out of the trade zones? they are not arenas, they are not battle grounds, only thing is that newbs, who doesn’t know better(i understand this) and cowards like jetty and elex go there to get free easy kills.. which sucks, because it scares people away, not the customers, but the shop owners, because they get targeted alot and they really don’t deserve to be targeted, they should be able to run their shop in the trade zones peacefully. I constantly get complaints from shop owners in my town, who cannot build on their shops or restock, because they get killed every time they go there – how is that fair for them?
I know some players want to do more here than just PVP, it’s just not worth taking the leap if all you get is a constant supply of pvp crazed pirate boys lined up at your shop window, waiting to kill you..

Remember the Viking raiders? Yeah, technically they were pirates and they attacked villages and towns all the time.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and why should it matter to PVPers who want to raise their killstreak if you have nothing on you and want to just build/sell stuff? It shouldn’t. People like to kill people on PVP servers and you constantly make yourself an easy target for them by not protecting yourself. Can’t blame us for your idiocy.

It is harassment jetty.. You’ve done it continuously for a year? Its the way it is done. Its unfair, because you abuse the fact that you can warp right in on my ass in 1 sec, without me having a chance to even realise you are around. It might be a staff decision to let you do this, but is it fair? I don’t think so.. You are a coward and I can’t wait till the new update drops and your tactics will be unusable.

But elex.. omg, is this a viking raider server, or a Caribbean colonial pirate server? I’m not talking about viking raiders, but 1500th. – 1700th. century buccaneers, who sailed in the Caribbean and plundered merchant convoys for money and fame.
Thing is, you think its fun to come to warp trade and kill people while they shop because you are a coward and hide just like jetty until you see an opportunity to piss someone off. I know you live off of pissing people off, because like jetty, everyone hates you too, so it seems.

Yeah elex.. It sure is easy to protect myself while writing things down on a sign and getting stabbed in the back, oh what an idiot I am to think that not protecting myself was wrong..
I can’t even protect myself because it goes so fast, one sec I’m writing something on a sign, next getting japped by a sword.. I need to do these thing and I cannot just close down every time I have to make changes, it’s impossible..

Is this server a Elven server? No. Is this server a British Empire server? No. Your “point” is invalid because the name of the server is “Piratecraft” and it even has viking ships at /warp ships that you can buy…Viking Raiders were PIRATES and therefore, their time is irrelevant. But besides that…this is a PVP server either way. Put stonebrick around the area people teleport in until you’re done your work. It’s not impossible, you’re just lazy.

oh and also, the viking ship at cove is player made, so I don’t know where you want to go with that viking thing either.. again, this is not a viking server, its a pirate server for the piracy during the colonial era in Caribbean.

December 15, 2015 at 10:48 pm #25174I can see both points, but TPing to a warp to kill the person who runs it…that’s just an asshole move. Those people who take the time to run these warps are the lifeblood of the economy, the “this is a pirate server” excuse is valid in many cases, but if you really want to use it as a defence for killing traders, bear in mind pirates didn’t teleport, wear diamond armour, and, well, you get the picture. Cut warp owners a break, because it’s not on that this happens.
The thread is about one player, who has been attacking for over a year, without the intention of stealing loot; rather, he wants to drive away business (and has done so) and get easy kills. I’d deem that as harassment.

@Bislo – By your logic then you shouldn’t be playing as a “British Empire” member because the server is pirate themed, not British Empire theme. See the issue here? I never once said the server was a “hardcore PVP” server, but it is still a PVP server. (I don’t think such servers would have whining idiots that don’t seem to realize there’s PVE only servers out there.”. William Dampier was a pirate that would raid Spanish settlements, so there you go: That’s one pirate that did such things. Do you even bother to take a quick Google search before writing your comments? Oh yeah, and since when do I have a “stonebrick box”? Please show me what base you’re talking about? I have underground bases (majority of them) and my main one is a fort sitting in a lava lake in the nether world…but no such stonebrick boxes?
@CrazyPirate1 – It’s entirely his fault that he doesn’t set up defenses to make sure such things don’t happen. Know what I did in the market while I was changing shop signs and restocking? Barricade my doors. It’s a simple solution and you can even make sure to have god gear and a god apple/strength potion on you just in case you need to kill someone/defend yourself. Also don’t you need to have evidence for reports? I don’t see any here showing that he was attacked by one player constantly for a year? Also your logic is terrible…you’re playing Minecraft, why do the basic mechanics of the game have anything to do with a person simply playing the server in one of the many ways it was meant to be played?
