Give more warning about £15 warps

I’ve seen the common message that mentions the paid warps, but when I was newer I used the North warp after seeing it on the warp list, having never seen the message telling that it costs money. It took 60% of the money I had at the time, and I didn’t even end up using the warp.

I just realized recently that the Nether warp is purportedly on the list of paid warps, and I have used it multiple times without noticing this! There’s a lot of text that scrolls through the chat, I don’t have the time or patience to read all of it–at some point I’ve got to actually focus on the game instead of the text. But I may have spent £60 or more on warps I didn’t want to pay for, warps I would have avoided had I known they cost money.

Suggestion: remove those warps from the basic warp list and add them to a paid warps list, so as not to confuse players and cause them to lose money unnecessarily.

What exactly do you want us to do about it? You seem to have solved your issue yourself. You found out they cost money 😛

It’s not solved at all. I know they cost money, after I already got burnt. Every new player won’t know about it and may also get burnt. Why would you even say it’s solved? I’m not trying to nitpick here, but your logic is lacking. I clearly defined the problem. The problem exists currently. Therefore it is not solved.

What do I want you, specifically to do about it? Nothing, if you aren’t a developer on the server. That’s why I posted it in suggestions.

ffs people stop with the bad comments, @reaverofdarknes1 has a great point here. The average newbie either hasn’t been online long enough to see the paid warp message, they were offline, or they were confused by everything going on in chat and just stopped paying attention to chat. To go along with his suggestion I think that /warp (or whatever the command is to get the list) should have something that clearly states if a warp is a paid warp or not.

Whenever you hover over the warp icons on the LiveMap, it mentions the price. Either way, you’re not getting your money back. One of the rules, no compensation.. 😛

Warps which cost money appear right next to those that don’t. If you listen to missive a few times, and read through every single help option available, you might see it, but those warps aren’t in a separate list, which means people still make mistakes, myself included.

Just give this guy a break :/

tbh, build1115 most of the noobs don’t even know about /map until they are told.

SO that was a terrible argument.

and I agree reaver, there could be a bit more of warning about the £15 price of warping.

A possible idea is a confirm function and warning with the note asking if you’d like to confirm stating the price.

1. build, he wasnt asking for compensation, he is looking out for other noobs so they will know that they will be charged to go to one of those warps.
