extra spleef arena

i played a game of spleef today, must say royal arena, good job.

and i noticed that when you enter the game you get a gui were you have to click an arena…… does this mean there is room for more spleef arenas?

if so what are the specifications for the plugin as me and raven have been think about adding an arena (now possibly a spleef arena) to the merc camp.

Thanks for the compliment! I put a lot of time into that arena. I plan on making a few more, but a little bit of adversity is always good. Some pointers however; I initially made layers with trees, houses, streets, etc, to vary the gameplay. This DOES NOT WORK. The layers, including the wool, are generated by Godsdead; However, the hole, the walls of the hole, and the arena itself, are all made by you. There may be certain specifications in size; you may have to ask gods about that, or just follow the size of mine. Finally, there is the option of both spleef and splegg, I would suggest watching some youtube videos to see what you prefer.

@DarkLight we can have as many spleef arenas as possible, If people build the arenas, then I will make them work 🙂

@CrazyPirate1 Has covered most of the specifications, a few more pointers: Its possible to have teams, so a team vs a team, This can also include a big live points counter to be shown to keep track of a score, it would be nice to have a pirate themed spleef arena, and a waiting area and a spectating area are also needed (I had to add these into crazys arena).

The developer replied to me to say its possible to create custom floors with obstacles, so I will have to experiment with it to see if I can figure it out, Before it just replaced the floor with wool though.

The plugin we use for spleef is called heavyspleef, if you wanted to run a local copy to see how everything works.

but heres a question, is it possible to have all 3 floors in a sigle tightly packed block, with one or two blocks missing in the middle. would be interesting if you lost a block uder you but could just jump back to the top layer, or even drop down and find your self in a 4 block deep hole and have to dig out.

@Godsdead What are the ways that the blocks can disappear? I’m asking this question because remember Hot Foot? Maybe we could use some spleef feature where blocks decay and then disappear as an alternative to actual wood blocks burning and disappearing. Is there a spleef feature where blocks disappear? I know there is the punch block way and the throw egg way…

@ravenfalls you can make floors as thick as you want, Im not sure about the eroded tiles, if its possible to make custom floors then it would be possible, again, I need time to test this.

@aniviankevinlu Spleef works when a player punches wool blocks, or throws eggs at them (Splegg) there is also a version with a bow built in, There is no decay method built into this plugin, you could request it to the developer?
